Turn on the multicooker in the “Frying” mode. Pour in vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, add the chicken drumsticks. Fry them, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. At the end, add salt.


Cut the onion into cubes and add to the fried chicken.


Grate the carrots coarse grater and add to the slow cooker.

Fry onions and carrots with chicken until soft.


Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes with a side of 3 centimeters. Add potatoes to the slow cooker. Pour 2 liters of water into the multicooker, add - bay leaf, allspice, star anise. Add a little more salt and pepper to your liking.


If by this time the “Frying” mode has already ended, select the “Extinguishing” mode in the menu, close the lid, turn the lock lever and press the “Start” button. If the “Frying” mode has not yet ended, unplug the multicooker from the mains to interrupt the “Frying” mode, then reconnect the multicooker and select the “Stewing” mode. Braising occurs automatically and under pressure, which makes the chicken drumsticks very soft. The meat literally falls off the bones. The finished chicken roast will look something like this when finished cooking.


Cooked roast chicken in a slow cooker suitable for lunch and, due to the fact that it contains a large amount of broth, it can immediately replace the first and second courses. Two in one, so to speak. And no hassle!
