First of all, you need to knead the dough. To do this, mix eggs, salt, butter, kefir and baking powder in a bowl. You can use soda instead, but the amount is 2 times less than baking powder. Then flour is gradually poured in until the dough acquires a creamy consistency. Divide it into a pair of equal parts.

In a separate bowl, prepare the filling: knead the canned food with a fork, finely chop the greens and mix. Grease the baking dish with oil, pour the first part of the dough into it first, followed by the filling, and then add the second part evenly. Bake at 180 for half an hour. Maybe a little longer. The finished canned fish pie is brushed on top with a piece of pre-melted butter.

Layered pie with red fish

Fish pie made from puff pastry is a truly magnificent delicacy that can even be served on a holiday table.

What you will need:

  • puff pastry – 0.5 kg;
  • any red fish – 0.5 kg;
  • flour – 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • drain cheese – 200 g;
  • chicken egg – 1 pc.;
  • lemon – 1 pc.;
  • sesame – 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • thyme – ½ teaspoon;
  • dill;
  • salt, pepper

An hour and a half before preparing the pie, you need to remove the dough from the freezer and leave to defrost. We wash and clean the fish, remove all the bones and cut the fillet into small slices, after which it needs to be marinated.

Place the fillet in a separate bowl, add pepper, thyme, salt, squeeze the juice from half a lemon on top and leave it like that for 40 minutes. At this time you need to start preheating the oven to 180 degrees.
Chop and be sure to dry the greens. Not a drop of moisture should get into the cake, otherwise it will spoil and turn out tasteless. Roll out the dough thinly so that it is rectangular in shape, grease it with cheese, leaving a couple of centimeters at the edges. Sprinkle chopped herbs on top.

By that time, the fish will already be well marinated. Place it evenly on the dough. On one edge you need to make the layer a little thicker than the rest. All this is very carefully wrapped into a roll of the same density and thickness in all places.

Whisk chicken yolk and grease the future pie dough with it. This is necessary so that a delicious golden brown crust appears on the surface. Sprinkle on top sesame seeds and make several holes with a fork, otherwise the cake will swell during baking.

Place in the oven for half an hour until browned. Then take it out, wrap it in foil and set it for another 20 minutes. Ready dish Can be served with any sauce suitable for fish.
