There are endless recipes for cooking chicken breast. Today I suggest you cook chicken roll boiled in cling film. It is quite simple to prepare, and the result is excellent. The roll according to this recipe turns out very juicy and tasty, you can experiment with fillings! Be sure to try it!

Ingredients

To prepare chicken roll boiled in cling film, you will need:

1 large chicken fillet;

1 boiled carrot;

2 tbsp. l. canned green peas;

20 g butter;

2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil (for frying);

2 cloves of garlic;

paprika, chili pepper, black ground pepper, salt, curry and dried basil - to taste;

vegetable oil.

Cooking steps

Roll the chicken fillet into a tight roll and wrap it in cling film and tie it well with thread. Place the chicken roll in a pan of water and cook in lightly salted water for 10 minutes (from the moment it boils) over low heat. Cool. Remove film and threads.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add garlic cloves, heat for 2 minutes, remove garlic.

Fry the chicken fillet roll on " garlic oil" on all sides with the addition of curry and dried basil.

Place the fried roll on paper towels to remove excess oil. Cut into pieces.

I don’t know about anyone, but my men really love meat, and therefore all kinds of meat products. They are especially attracted to supermarket shelves with an assortment of sausages, sausages, and rolls. I’ve been trying to fight this for a long time, but how? - it’s a good thing, but it takes a long time to tinker with it, and therefore you can’t cook it often, and baked meat quickly becomes boring. So from time to time you have to buy store-bought sausage for a change, realizing that in fact it’s not quite meat product, and also stuffed with preservatives, flavor and color enhancers.
And here my friend, who had just returned from vacation, came to my aid. At the sanatorium she met a nice woman who turned out to be a good housewife. At least my friend brought home a whole notebook of very interesting, and most importantly, real recipes. And among others, we found this one. For me it was just a salvation, I had wanted to come up with something for so long, but here everything is already ready, just take it and do it.
First I cooked basic recipe and realized that it was really very tasty. Even without spices and herbs, the chicken roll with gelatin in cling film turned out to be very appetizing and tasty, very tender and juicy. Then there were experiments: I added finely chopped herbs to chicken meat, salad pepper, cut into thin strips, cubes hard cheese, slices of ham and even olives. Moreover, I tried different ways preparation - from boiling to baking. And I can say with confidence that no matter how you prepare this dish, it will still not be enough.
The cooking method itself is quite original and at the same time simple: we simply serve pieces chicken meat, mix with spices and gelatin, roll the chicken mixture into a roll in cling film. Then we either steam it or simply put it in a pan and cook in water.
Such a roll will always come in handy both for preparing for school and as a original snack on festive table.



Ingredients:

- chicken meat - 1.5 kg,
- fresh garlic- 2-3 slices,
- mustard seeds - 3 tbsp.,
- gelatin - 35 g,
- salt, pepper, curry - to taste.

We wash the chicken meat, dry it, and then cut it into pieces and lightly beat it with a hammer.




In a bowl, mix the mustard seeds with salt and pepper, squeeze the garlic through a garlic press, and also add gelatin and mix well.




In another bowl, mix the chicken meat with the resulting mixture so that they are evenly distributed.




Next, spread the cling film (in several layers) and place the meat on it.






We wrap it with a roll and fix the ends with a rope or tie it in knots on both sides. We cut off the excess ends of the film.




Cook the roll in boiling water for 1.5 hours.




And then we put it in the refrigerator overnight. But first you need to cool the roll at room temperature.

There are many recipes for preparing the dish, some of which will be given below.

Chicken roll with gelatin in cling film in the oven

Perhaps the classic way to make chicken roll is oven baking, which requires the following ingredients:

  • chicken – 1 kg. For the roll, you can use either breast or thigh fillet, or a whole chicken. Dish from white meat it will turn out to be dietary, but when mixed it will be more rich and satisfying;
  • gelatin – 30 g;
  • garlic – 2-3 cloves;
  • salt, spices - to taste. The best spices to use are ready-made seasonings for chicken, curry or hops - suneli. You can also use ground paprika. It will color the gelatin a pleasant color and give the dish a festive look.

A step-by-step recipe will tell you how to cook chicken roll in the oven:

  1. Preparing meat. If a chicken carcass was chosen for cooking, you must carefully separate the meat from the bones and skin. Wash the fillet, dry it, cut it small cubes, no more than 1x1 cm. For juiciness, it is recommended to leave fat and a little chicken skin on the meat.
  2. Mix gelatin and spices in a separate container.
  3. Peel the garlic and pass through a press.
  4. Spread cling film on a dry surface and place the chicken on it, 3-4 cm away from the edges. The layer of meat should not exceed 2 cm. Salt the chicken and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  5. After the specified time has elapsed, the mixture of spices and gelatin is carefully distributed over the surface of the meat. Sprinkle chopped garlic on top.
  6. Forming a roll. Using cling film, carefully form into a tight roll. Release excess air and fold the edges tightly. Wrap with another 2-3 layers of film.
  7. Wrap the roll tightly with foil in 2-3 layers.
  8. Place in a baking dish, after pouring 70-80 ml of water into it.
  9. Cook the roll at 200 degrees for 60 minutes.
  10. Cool the prepared dish until room temperature and refrigerate for 10-12 hours.
  11. Cut the chilled roll into plastic pieces and serve.

To make chicken meat more tender, it should first be soaked in kefir for 15-20 minutes.

How to cook in a slow cooker

To prepare chicken roll in a slow cooker, you will need the same ingredients as in the previous recipe. The technology will be slightly different.

Step-by-step recipe for making rolls in a slow cooker:

  1. Separated from the bones, washed and chopped meat must be mixed with gelatin, seasonings and chopped garlic. Leave for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Spread 0.5 meters of cling film on a hard surface.
  3. In the middle of the film place meat with spices in the form of a sausage corresponding to the size of the future roll.
  4. Wrap the meat in film, covering it alternately with free areas.
  5. Wrap the formed roll tightly with several layers of film.
  6. Secure the edges of the film tightly.
  7. Place the roll in the multicooker bowl and add water until it completely covers it.
  8. Cook in the “Stew” mode for one and a half hours.
  9. Cool the finished roll and serve.

Cooking with mushrooms

You can add mushrooms to the chicken roll. It is better to purchase canned champignons for this.

To prepare the dish you will need:

  • broiler chicken carcass weighing up to 2 kg;
  • a jar of canned champignons;
  • 2 onions;
  • 50-60 g mayonnaise;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 2-3 tablespoons of hard cheese;
  • salt, spices to taste;
  • sunflower oil for frying.

Step-by-step cooking recipe:

  1. Wash the chicken carcass and dry it. Separate the meat from the bones so that you end up with a whole layer of chicken with skin.
  2. Lightly beat the layer of meat with a hammer, rub with spices and salt, leave for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Chop the mushrooms.
  4. Cut the onion into cubes and fry in oil until golden brown.
  5. Add mushrooms to the onions. Fry until the liquid disappears and the mushrooms are light golden brown, add salt. Remove from heat and cool.
  6. Place the chicken layer on a hard surface, skin side down. Distribute over it fried mushrooms and onions. Coat with mayonnaise.
  7. Peel the garlic, chop finely and sprinkle it over the meat.
  8. Form a tight roll and wrap it with film several more times.
  9. You can cook the roll in a slow cooker (Stewing mode, 90 minutes) or in the oven at 200 degrees for about 1 hour.
  10. After the specified time has passed, cool the dish and serve, cutting into slices.

Boiled chicken roll with gelatin in cling film

Another simple dish option is boiled chicken roll with gelatin.

It will require:

  • thighs or drumsticks of broiler chicken - 1 kg;
  • gelatin – 15-20 g;
  • salt and spices to taste.

Step-by-step recipe for making a simple chicken roll on the stove:

  1. Wash the meat, remove the bones, cut into small pieces.
  2. Mix gelatin, salt and seasonings in a separate dry bowl.
  3. Sprinkle the fillet with the mixture, mix thoroughly and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Spread the cling film on a hard surface and place the chicken on it in a “sausage”.
  5. Wrap the roll tightly with several layers of cling film. Pull the edges tightly with thread. For additional fixation, you can easily use a tubular medical bandage or thick thread.
  6. Place the roll in boiling water and cook for low heat about 45 minutes.
  7. Cool the finished dish and serve.

Cooking technology with vegetables

You can diversify the delicacy with vegetables. You can add tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers to the meat, green pea and others.


To prepare chicken roll with tomatoes and sweet peppers you will need:

  • fillet chicken drumstick- 1 kg;
  • gelatin – 30 g;
  • 3 tomatoes;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • several sprigs of dill;
  • salt, spices.

Cooking technology:

  1. Wash the fillet and cut into small cubes.
  2. Separate washed bell peppers and tomatoes from seeds and cut into small cubes.
  3. Finely chop the dill.
  4. Mix the meat with salt, spices, vegetables and gelatin, dill.
  5. Place the mixture on cling film and form into a “sausage”.
  6. Tie the edges tightly. Wrap the roll in several layers of foil.
  7. Place in a baking dish.
  8. Cook in the oven at 200 degrees for an hour.
  9. Cool the finished dish and serve.

Chicken roll with gelatin can easily be classified as holiday dishes , which are not a shame to put on the table when guests come. But, if most of these dishes have a complex recipe, then chicken roll is very easy to make, and, most importantly, has a minimum of ingredients. But this roll is very tasty and looks very appetizing.

It is also important that it can be attributed to dietary dishes; chicken meat is not oversaturated with fats, it is relatively cheap and goes well with other products.

So you can afford a piece of chicken roll much more often than other meat dishes, especially since the proposed recipe contains practically no other ingredients.

So, to prepare the roll you will need:

  • 1.5 kg chicken fillet;
  • a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • nutmeg;
  • ground black pepper;
  • salt;
  • 10 g gelatin.

If you don’t have nutmeg, you can replace it with other spices or do without them altogether. If the chicken fillet consists only of breasts, the result will be excellent, but it is preferable if there is some red meat from the thighs or legs of the chicken in the roll.

To prepare the roll, the chicken needs to be cut into small pieces, 1.5 – 2 cm long, crush 2-3 cloves of garlic, add salt. Sprinkle chicken pieces very well nutmeg. For spiciness, add black pepper.

The good thing about this recipe is that gelatin does not need to be pre-dissolved to make jelly. You can simply sprinkle the chicken fillet with gelatin, along with salt and spices. During the process of preparing the roll, the meat will produce juice, which will become the basis of the jelly. One more note: the amount of gelatin in 10 g is indicated for the case if the chicken roll is prepared in a ham maker, under spring pressure.

In this case, a lot of gelatin is not required, since it still only helps bind the pieces of meat into one whole. If you prepare a roll without a ham maker, it is better to take 20 g of gelatin so that the jelly fills the remaining space between the meat. In this case, the chicken roll will not be as dense, but more tender.

After adding all the ingredients, the meat for the roll must be thoroughly mixed so that it is evenly saturated with spices. It is better to place the finished chicken fillet in a baking sleeve, regardless of whether the ham maker will be used or not.

To obtain sufficient density of the future roll, the meat must be compacted well, then tie a baking bag, leaving no space for air. Then you need to install the ham maker lid and secure it with springs.

The ham maker should then be set or placed on its side in a saucepan or, better yet, a slow cooker. To avoid damaging the coating of the pan bowl, you can line the ham pan with gauze or use a special silicone mat.

If the roll is with chicken fillet It is prepared without a ham maker; you can place the bag of meat directly into the bowl. As an option, you can bake the roll in the oven, but it is easier to maintain the temperature in water.

In a multicooker for preparing chicken roll, it is better to set the Multicook mode, 90 degrees, 2 hours. Let the water boil in the pan, then reduce the heat so that the water barely simmers. The finished roll must be carefully removed from the bowl and cooled to room temperature.

The package should not be removed from the ham maker. After cooling, the chicken meat roll should be placed in the refrigerator for a few more hours without removing it from the ham maker. During this time, the resulting jelly will reliably bind the meat particles together into one whole.

The finished chicken roll with gelatin not only looks appetizing, it is also very tasty. Chicken in jelly in general tasty dish, but in a roll it also becomes convenient for serving. Clean meat in own juice easily cut into slices, goes well with vegetables and side dishes, and can serve as an independent snack.

Chicken roll recipe with gelatin in the oven

Ingredients:

  • chicken meat – 600 – 700 grams
  • garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • dry gelatin – 2 tbsp. spoons
  • pepper

How to make chicken roll with gelatin:

  1. Initially, the recipe used chicken breasts, but I thought it was a roll made from... chicken breasts a bit dry, so I now use chicken thighs. So, you can make it from those parts of the chicken that you like best. Separate the chicken meat from the bones and remove the skin. Then cut it into small cubes.
  2. Place the prepared chicken meat in a bowl, add salt, pepper or any other spices you like, crushed garlic and dry gelatin. Mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Then place the prepared meat on a sheet of foil, shape it into a thick sausage and wrap it in foil, carefully pinching the edges. Then wrap in another sheet of foil. Why do we wrap it so carefully? It is very important here that the juice released during cooking does not leak out, since it, in combination with gelatin, will keep the shape of our roll and, accordingly, give it taste and juiciness.
  4. Place the prepared roll on a baking sheet and place in the oven. It is cooked at a temperature of 180 0 for approximately 40 - 50 minutes.
  5. Important!!! After the chicken roll with gelatin is ready, do not unwrap it, but let it cool directly in the foil and, in the foil, put it in the refrigerator for about 5 hours. I very often cook it in the evening and put it in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, a prepared breakfast will be waiting for us.

While I was mixing the meat with spices, I suddenly remembered that I had green peas in the freezer and decided to add them. It turned out to be such a nice roll and its taste didn’t get any worse.
