And that’s when I realized that the saying that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach is not empty words. And he loves to eat with me. I had to urgently start a cookbook, call my mother and, under her dictation, write recipes for soups, cutlets, etc.

Chicken soup with dumplings

Well, it’s actually simple, even a first-grader can do it.

1. Pour water into the pan (to the top - 5-6 cm), bring it to a boil.

2. Start the chicken (of course, you need to wash and cut it in advance. You don’t have to buy a whole chicken for the soup; you can get by with chicken legs or even chicken fillet). Cook for about 30 minutes.

3. Then add the potatoes (peeled, chopped). Cook for 25-30 minutes.

4. While the chicken and potatoes are cooking, prepare the seasoning: fry the onions and carrots (peeled, chopped) in a frying pan in butter, fry until golden brown.

5. When the potatoes are cooked, add our seasoning.

6. At the same time as seasoning, add vermicelli (small) or dumplings.

Dumplings are made like this: pour flour into a small cup, break 1 egg into it, salt to taste and a little water to make a fairly thick mass. Mix it all. Then wash the teaspoon in water, put it in boiling water (in the soup), and then scoop it out of the cup and put it in the soup.

Add salt. Add laurel and greens. Cook for 5-10 minutes. As soon as all the dumplings float to the surface, the soup is ready!

Ground meat

It is made from beef and lard. For 1 kg of beef - 0.5 kg of lard. Onions - 5-7 heads. All this is passed through a meat grinder, salted and peppered to taste, and mixed.

Cutlets

Crumble the pulp into a cup white bread(loaf), add a little milk, 1 egg, minced meat. Mix. Fry in butter. Before frying, roll the resulting mass into balls, roll them in flour or breadcrumbs, press down a little and place in a frying pan. One side will be fried - turn over and fry until done.

Chicken fillet pancakes

This is so yummy!

Finely chop chicken fillet or pork pulp (half a kilo), add 3 eggs, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons potato starch, salt to taste. Stir.

Bake on vegetable oil in a preheated frying pan, like pancakes.

Lenten dough (for pancakes, pies)

For 1 kg of flour you need 1 package of yeast (dry, the cook is drawn on the label). Stir. Pour in ¼ cup sunflower oil. Glass of boiled warm water Pour into flour with 2 tablespoons of sugar and salt to taste, stir.

Knead the dough, that is, add about 2 more glasses of water to the resulting mass (this time without salt and sugar). Leave for a while. The dough should rise.

If it rises the first time - stir, it should rise the second time - stir again. On the third rise, knead the dough (that is, add flour and continue kneading with your hands).

Lapshevnik

Boil vermicelli in milk thickly (you can add salt and sugar). As soon as the vermicelli is cooked, add it butter, 2 spoons of sour cream, 3 eggs. Stir everything, pour into a frying pan and bake in the oven until golden brown.
