Ingredients: 3 tbsp. chokeberries, 1 liter of purified water, 460 – 480 ml of quality vodka, 60 cherry leaves, 380 – 480 g granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. l. citric acid.

  1. The washed rowan is placed in a pan and kneaded well with a masher.
  2. pours in cold water. The berries are warming up a little more.
  3. Place pre-washed cherry leaves into the pan. The container with all its contents is left for half an hour.
  4. The tincture is sent to the fire and warms up slightly, but does not boil.
  5. The contents of the pan are filtered through gauze folded in several layers. The remaining clean liquid is sent back to the fire. Lemon and sugar are added to it. The mass is brought to a boil.

When the sugar is completely dissolved in the liquid, you can remove the liqueur from the heat. Vodka is poured into the slightly chilled drink.

Cooking with honey at home

For such a drink you must choose quality honey. It must be a natural bee product.

Ingredients: 2.5 tbsp. berries, 3 tbsp. l. honey, 1 liter of quality vodka, a pinch of dried oak bark.

  1. The washed chokeberry is poured into a glass jar.
  2. Honey melted in a water bath, as well as oak bark, are added to the berries.
  3. The components are filled with vodka.
  4. The tincture will be ready only after 4.5 – 5 months. All this time she should be in the dark and cool.

Shake the jar vigorously from time to time.

Chokeberry tincture with lemon

Tincture from chokeberry and lemon - excellent remedy to strengthen the immune system. It will help you survive the cold season without getting sick.

Ingredients: half a kilo of berries, half a liter of alcohol (up to 50%), a glass of sugar, a glass of filtered water, 3 lemons.

  1. The washed fruits are poured into a jar and filled with water.
  2. Alcohol is poured onto the chokeberry and the juice is squeezed out from all the lemons at once.
  3. The tincture is stored in a dark place for 20 days. The jar is shaken periodically.

The strained tincture, bottled, will last for another 15 days.

Spicy drink with cloves

Cloves will give the tincture a pleasant spicy note. Filtered berries can be reused.

Ingredients: 1.5 kg of chokeberry, 1 liter of vodka, half a kilo of granulated sugar, 3 - 4 buds of cloves.

  1. The berries are crushed right in the jar.
  2. Add cloves and sugar to the rowan.
  3. The neck of the container is covered with gauze, after which the jar is moved to a dark place for 48 hours.
  4. Next, vodka is added.
  5. The tincture is prepared for another 60 days.

The resulting drink is filtered and bottled.

How to properly store the tincture

Store the prepared chokeberry tincture on alcohol based should be in a dark place away from heat sources. The bottom shelf of the refrigerator or cellar is perfect for this purpose.

The drink can be stored for 3 years.
