Bananas (also medium-sized) must certainly be ripe, but not wrinkled, without dark spots on the pulp. Add flavoring (I'm talking about vanillin) or not - it's up to you. Well, a pinch of salt is needed in order to balance the taste. finished casserole from cottage cheese and bananas. All foods must be at room temperature.


Immediately turn on the oven at 160 degrees - let it heat up. In the meantime, put 600 grams of cottage cheese (I have 5% fat content) in a suitable bowl, add 170 grams of sugar and a pinch of salt and vanillin each (you can replace it with a teaspoon of vanilla sugar).



If you want the finished cottage cheese casserole to turn out perfectly smooth and very tender, without a single grain of cottage cheese, I advise you to use an immersion blender. This assistant grinds all foods to a smooth puree. If you don’t have such a device, then the cottage cheese will have to be rubbed through a sieve (preferably twice), and some of the bananas should be chopped on a grater or with a fork. Using an immersion blender, we punch cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, vanillin and salt until a pasty mass is obtained. Then add one egg at a time and beat everything again.


The result is a fairly liquid dough (a little thinner than pancakes). We clean 2 bananas and break the pulp directly into the dough, after which we again pierce everything with a blender.


It's time to add a thickener for our cottage cheese casserole - it will be cornstarch, which will need 5 tablespoons without a slide. If you don’t have corn (it’s more tender), use potato, but you need less of it - 3-3.5 tablespoons is enough.


We combine the dough and starch with the help of the same blender to get such a batter. By consistency, it turns out like kefir.


It remains to add two more bananas to the future curd casserole, which must first be peeled and cut arbitrarily not large, but not small pieces. Simply stir the fruit slices into the batter with a spoon.


Pour all the dough into a suitable baking dish. I have a silicone square, measuring 18x18 cm on the bottom, 20x20 cm on the top and 6 cm high. I did not lubricate the form with anything. We bake the cottage cheese casserole in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 1 hour. Cooking time may vary depending on the size and height of the dish, as well as the features of the oven.
