    • corn flour - 4 tbsp. l.;
    • egg – 1 pc.;
    • garlic – 2 cloves;
    • salt;
    • pepper;
    • vegetable oil.

    Cooking method:

    1. Cut the washed tomatoes into rings, add salt and pepper.
    2. Prepare the batter: combine the egg with flour. Mix the ingredients so that there are no lumps.
    3. Pass it through the press garlic cloves, add to the batter.
    4. Dip each tomato slice into the batter, making sure it covers the vegetable.
    5. Place the preparations on a heated frying pan. Fry until golden on both sides.
    6. To make the appetizer look beautiful, like in the photo, garnish it with herbs before serving.

    From simple products you can get quite gourmet dish, capable of surprising unexpectedly arriving guests. The secrets of cooking fried green tomatoes do not contain anything supernatural that would be beyond the power of an ordinary person:

    • If you have enough free time, do not mix the batter. Break the eggs into a separate bowl and beat them with a fork. Fill another container with flour. Alternately dip the tomato slices into the egg and flour.
    • It is better to serve the dish in combination with some sauce. It can be sweet or spicy.
