- fresh bull calves 1 kg;
- 1 onion;
- 2 carrots;
- lemon juice 1 tablespoon;
- salt 1 teaspoon;
- ground black pepper to taste;
- tomato paste 3 tablespoons;
- sunflower oil 50 ml;
- black peppercorns 10 pieces;
- allspice peas 10 pieces;
- Bay leaf 2 pieces;
- water 150 ml.

Recipe with photos step by step:

First of all, we prepare the bulls. They can be like frozen, then defrost at room temperature, and fresh. We clean the insides, cut off the tails and head. If desired, all fins can be trimmed. I didn't do this because in the end, the whole fish melts in your mouth. Rinse well in running water so that there is no black film inside. Leave the excess liquid to drain. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Mix.

Peel the onion. If the onion is large, cut into half rings. Cut small onions into rings. Wash the carrots and remove the skin. Grate on a coarse grater. Pour into the multicooker bowl (my kitchen friend Moulinex CE500E32) sunflower oil. Add some of the onion and grated carrot.

Add the cleaned bulls and distribute evenly over the entire surface of the bowl.

Add the remaining onions and carrots. Dissolve in water tomato paste And lemon juice. Pour into the slow cooker. Close the lid. We start the “stew/fish” program. I set it to 1 hour 50 minutes. Fish, in in this case, very soft, you can’t feel the bones. If you set the time to a shorter time, about 1 hour 30 minutes, the fish will be more intact and you can feel the bones a little. Choose according to your taste.

After cooking, turn off the multicooker. Release excess steam and open the lid. The bulls stewed in tomato are ready in a multicooker-pressure cooker. They can be eaten both hot and cold.
