How to freeze ryadovka mushrooms for the winter

Ryadovka belongs to the lamellar species of mushrooms and some fear that they are poisonous. But this is absolutely in vain. Rows growing in our strip are quite edible.

They can be salted, pickled, or frozen to roast fresh mushrooms in winter. Today's recipe will tell you how to freeze rows for the winter.

Rows grow in deciduous forests, and there is no special debris in them. Only leaves that stick to the caps. The whole cleaning of mushrooms is to remove these leaves and check the mushrooms for worms.

Pay attention to the purple rows. They are also very tasty, but many are very scared when they are put on the table. But they are frightened in vain, since purple rows are also edible.

How to freeze rows for the winter

There are two ways to freeze mushrooms for the winter.

The first is very simple: rinse the mushrooms, dry and freeze. But this way they take up too much space in the freezer. Therefore, I prefer the second: boil before freezing.

Rinse the rows in a bowl of water and toss them in boiling salted water.

From the moment they boil, they should cook for 10-15 minutes. Stir the mushrooms from time to time with a slotted spoon, and remove the dirty foam that appears even in well-washed mushrooms.

Throw the boiled rows in a colander, let them drain and cool down at the same time.

It is better to use plastic containers for freezing mushrooms. If you just put them in a bag, they will spread and freeze into a shapeless mass, and this is not very convenient.

These "bricks" are very convenient. The frozen mushrooms are easy to cut off, and you don't need to defrost the whole briquette. The mushrooms do not need to be thawed before you start cooking.

Simply add the frozen mushrooms to the skillet or toss directly into the soup. This will not affect the taste of the dish, and you will save a lot of time.
