Recipe for an open shortbread pie

You will need:
- butter - 200 g
- sugar - 1 cup
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- flour - 4 cups
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- vanilla sugar - 1 sachet

Cooking process

1. Melt the butter, add sugar to it and mix.

2. Let the mixture cool down, then add the eggs with vanilla sugar and stir again.

3. Add the baking powder to the sifted flour and add to the bowl with the butter-egg mixture. Knead the dough.

Dough recipe for a closed shortbread pie

You will need:
- flour - 2 cups
- salt - ½ teaspoon
- margarine - 60 g
- cold butter - 125 g
- ice water - 4-6 tbsp. spoons

Cooking process

1. Mix salt with flour, add butter and margarine cut into pieces and chop with a knife into a large greasy crumb.

2. Pour in ice water 1 tablespoon each and mix with a fork.

3. Divide the dough into 2 balls (smaller and larger) and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, wrapped in cling film.

4. Roll out a larger ball with a diameter of 5 cm more than the bottom of the mold and transfer it to the mold, wrapping it on a rolling pin.

5. Unfold the dough in a mold, pressing it to the bottom and sides, cut off the edges, put the filling.

6. Place the rolled out dough of the smaller ball on top and pinch the pie in a circle.
