Children's recipes in the Polaris multicooker. Recipes for children in a slow cooker

Every housewife knows that a multicooker is an excellent assistant in the kitchen. It helps you prepare your favorite dishes, does not require constant attention and stirring, and the food turns out very tasty. Is it possible to cook food for a child in a slow cooker and will it be healthy?

The benefits of multicooker dishes for children

Cooked meals in a multicooker for children retain all the benefits of food, microelements and vitamins to the maximum. This occurs due to the fact that the moisture contained in the products does not evaporate, but remains inside. Using recipes for children in a slow cooker, you will not need oil (or you will need a minimum), but the food will not taste dry. This is very important for baby food, because any fatty foods are contraindicated for babies, and oil should only be added to the finished dish. Thus, using children's recipes in a slow cooker, you will get tasty, healthy and juicy food that will delight your children, without harming their tummies.

About children's recipes for a slow cooker

You can prepare meals in a multicooker for a child from a very early age, even if you have just started introducing complementary foods. You can quickly steam any vegetables for cooking, all you have to do is grind them and give them to your baby. There you can easily heat store-bought puree from a jar: unlike the microwave and oven, the puree will be heated evenly on all sides, which will prevent your baby from getting burned.
As the baby grows, recipes for a child in a multicooker expand significantly: rich and nutritious milk (or dairy-free) porridges, natural yogurt, soups, cereals as a side dish, delicious meat or steamed fish, omelet, cottage cheese casserole, sponge cake, meat broth, compote and much more.
The functions of any multicooker are so diverse that they allow you to prepare almost all dishes from the children's menu. Moreover, you can always adapt the cooking you read on the Internet to your multicooker. It will replace your stove, oven, steamer, and even deep fryer.

Saving time for mommy

A multicooker not only allows you to prepare delicious and healthy dishes, but also saves your mother much-needed free time. To prepare dishes in a multicooker, your supervision is not required; it will cook everything itself. In addition, you can use the “Delayed Start” mode and sleep longer in the morning, and prepare breakfast yourself and will wait for your baby hot for as long as necessary. Or you can go for a walk with your child and have a delicious lunch together when you arrive.

Ingredients:

Cooking process

Cut the zucchini, mini carrots, broccoli, and bell peppers into medium cubes. Place the frozen mixture on a plate; it needs to be thawed.

Step 4

After the specified time has passed, open the multicooker and remove the cooked vegetables from the bowl. Please note that the broth has acquired a beautiful yellowish tint.

After 10 min. From the beginning of the program, add chopped zucchini.

Option 2 – Steamed lazy dumplings

Required Ingredients

  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 125 grams sugar
  • 125 grams semolina

How to cook

Step 1

Transfer the cottage cheese into a deep bowl, add chicken eggs according to the recipe, as well as granulated sugar. Grind all these ingredients using a blender until a creamy mass is formed.

Now is the time to add the semolina. Stir the curd mass, leave it until the semolina swells for 20 minutes.

Select the “Steam” mode for 10 minutes.

Step 4

After 10 min. Place the finished curd dumplings on a plate and serve with fresh sour cream or homemade yogurt without additives.
