Delicious shrimp could be baked, boiled, fried or consumed immediately, simply by holding it in a very hot water. However, this was not enough for us, which is fair, and we began to combine shrimp with vegetables, pasta and rice in one dish. And also - be sure to serve shrimp with some kind of sauce, simple or refined. So, step by step, we opened Italian cuisine. Today I offer one of the quick and affordable recipe for shrimp pasta in cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • salt + ground black / a mixture of peppers - a pinch each

How to cook pasta with shrimp in a creamy sauce

Usually spaghetti is used for this dish, but my choice - Pasta Mafalde - I think is quite worthy replacement: Long wavy pasta looks great on the same plate with shrimp.

Cook pasta al dente in boiling, lightly salted water, drain and cover. Cooking time is indicated on the package - 8 minutes.

Defrost the shrimp. Eat general rule: All frozen food must defrost itself. But when we are in a hurry, we want to do it immediately. And if you already choose a quick defrosting method - choose water (some do it directly in a pan). Firstly, the product still needs to be washed, and secondly, under water, the shrimp will quickly lose all their “icicles”. Just be sure to pat them dry with paper towels afterwards.

Heat the pan, melt the butter and olive oil in it. Peel the clove of garlic and cut into 2-3 pieces. When the garlic begins to give off its aroma, send the shrimp to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove the garlic pieces from the pan and pour over the fried shrimp. heavy cream or thick sour cream and sprinkle with finely chopped dill. Cook for 2-3 more minutes. The fire is medium.

Add the previously boiled pasta to the cooked shrimp, mix thoroughly and gently, pepper and lightly salt, simmer together for another 1-2 minutes.

Divide pasta with shrimp in a creamy sauce and serve immediately. Top each serving with grated cheese.

One name of this dish instantly awakens the appetite. It sounds expensive, elegant, but in fact it is cooked on hastily. This lovely dish you can cook even for a romantic dinner.

As already mentioned, the dish is prepared quickly and served immediately. It is not worth reheating it, as the shrimp can overcook. When buying cream, you should be careful not to buy confectionery - they are sweet. And there is never too much garlic in this dish!

  6. Boil spaghetti until half cooked in plenty of water, then drain it.
  7. Boil the cream over low heat, dilute in them tomato paste, add spices, including curry, paprika and salt. Taste to settle. Cook until the mass becomes homogeneous, then turn off the stove.
  8. Dry the baguette in the oven or in a dry frying pan, and then grind it into crumbs with your hands. Mix it with the garlic that was set aside at the beginning.
  9. Put the spaghetti on a plate, pour the sauce on top, then spread the shrimp and crumbs with garlic.
  10. Chop the parsley and sprinkle it on top, or you can decorate with whole leaves. Serve immediately.

Tip: if the shrimp are already boiled, they need to be heated for just a minute in a pan, then do not cover with a lid. If they are overcooked, they will lose their taste and beneficial features become rubber.

A slightly heady sauce, in which wine is felt only from afar, conveys all the sophistication of Mediterranean cuisine.

  1. Chop the onion into small cubes without the husk. Peel the garlic too and put it through the press.
  2. Finely chop the dill.
  3. Put fresh shrimp in boiling water and cook them for no more than four minutes. The water must be well salted. Drain water after cooking.
  4. Melt butter in a frying pan. Put garlic and onion in it, fry for a minute.
  5. Pour in the wine and cover with a lid. After five minutes, add all the cream here, season. Squeeze all the juice from the lemon directly into the pan. Interfere.
  6. Add shrimp, and after twenty seconds, chopped dill. Switch off the stove.
  7. Boil the pasta according to package instructions. You can undercook it a little so that it retains its shape.
  8. Arrange the pasta in portions on plates, pour over everything with shrimp sauce.

Tip: To make the dish even more delicious and satisfying, you can sprinkle it with grated parmesan before serving.

How to cook with mushrooms and shrimp

Mushrooms with seafood are not served as often as we are used to seeing, but this combination gives an unexpectedly pleasant experience.

How to cook:

  1. Peeled mushrooms cut into cubes. It is better to take champignons, they can be chopped into slices.
  2. Finely chop the garlic without the husk.
  3. Grate cheese.
  4. Add 30 g of butter to the pan, melt it. Throw in the garlic shrimp.
  5. After two and a half minutes, add the mushrooms with the rest of the oil. Mix.
  6. Cook for another three minutes and at this time put the spaghetti on the boil according to the instructions.
  7. Add cream to the pan, immediately stir in the cheese here, simmer everything together for about ten minutes. Interfere from time to time. The sauce should thicken.
  8. Serve spaghetti with warm sauce.

Tip: If the sauce does not thicken for a very long time, you can literally add a pinch of fried flour or starch and stir quickly.

You can use any size shrimp. Large ones can be bought raw, then it is easier to peel them from the shell. But small ones can be bought ready-made right away so as not to waste time cleaning with nail scissors, this is really laborious.

While boiling the shrimp, you can put a slice of lemon and a few fresh sprigs of rosemary into the water. This will give the seafood a slight sourness and improve their flavor.

A very simple and at the same time sophisticated dish can be prepared even on a weekday, because it is also healthy! And it takes very, very little time.

  • 250 ml cream (20%);
  • 100 gr. hard cheese;
  • 50 gr. butter;
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • salt, black pepper to taste.

Boil pasta according to package directions. Mushrooms cut into small slices (fresh-frozen pre-defrost). Chop the garlic into small cubes. We rub the cheese on the smallest grater.

Advice! If not at hand fresh mushrooms, with the same success, you can use fresh-frozen or canned.

Melt 30 gr. butter, spread the garlic, after a minute add the peeled shrimp. When the shrimps are lightly browned on both sides, add the mushrooms and the remaining oil to the pan. Simmer, stirring, until the mushrooms are cooked.

Pour boiling water over frozen shrimp for three minutes, then drain in a colander and peel. Cut the garlic into thin slices.

We heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a frying pan with high sides, put the garlic in it and fry it for a minute. Remove the garlic from the oil and discard. We spread the shrimp, sprinkle them with black pepper and salt, fry for two minutes. Then take it out and put it on a plate.

In the pan where the shrimp were fried, carefully pour the broth, let it boil. Pour in a thin stream of cream and add salt. Preparation

  • My spinach.
  • Peel 3 cloves of garlic and crush them with a knife.
  • We clean the shrimp from the shell and tail.

How to cook

  1. Place a high-sided frying pan on the highest heat.
    Add 50 g butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil.
    We heat up for 20-30 seconds. Put the shrimp and add the garlic.
  2. Add salt and pepper.
    Fry the crustaceans for 30-40 seconds on each side or 1-1.5 minutes stirring occasionally. If you fry longer, they will become "rubber".
  3. After frying, put the shrimp from the pan on a plate.
    In the photo, I forgot to remove the tails from the shrimp and removed them after frying.
    We throw out the garlic, it has already given off the smell.
    We return the pan to the fire and make it above medium.
    Making cream sauce for pasta. Pour in 400 ml of milk and 200 ml of pure cold water.
    Add some salt and pepper.

  4. Place pasta nests in skillet.
    Cover with a lid and leave on fire for 2-3 minutes.
    Important! Make sure the milk doesn't run away. Once the milk starts to boil, remove the lid.
    Grate cheese.
  5. Remove the lid from the pan and stir the nests. Cover again for a couple of minutes and turn off the heat.
    Remove the pan from the stove and remove the lid. We mix.
    The pasta will continue to soak up the garlic butter sauce on its own.

  6. Add spinach and stir.
    Sprinkle generously with Parmesan and stir again.
    We add shrimp, and you probably already guessed what we are doing.
    Pasta with spinach and shrimp in a creamy sauce is ready.
  7. The dish should be served immediately.
    Season the finished portion with a couple more pinches of parmesan.

If the budget is limited, take smaller crustaceans, this will save a few hundred rubles.

Please note that the weight indicated on the packaging will differ from the actual weight of the product. So after defrosting, my shrimp lost 35% weight, from 500g to 328g.

What pasta to choose?

Fresh, not boiled it is enough to fry the shrimp for 30-40 seconds on each side. Their meat will be soft, juicy and slightly fried. And if you fry with oil in a hot frying pan, you get a crispy crust.

Do not fry the shrimp for a long time. Get rubber and be disappointed.
