Snow White salad with ham, cheese and crab sticks is very easy and quick to prepare. But it looks so appetizing, and its taste is so interesting that this dish, despite its simplicity, may well claim a place of honor on the holiday table. The combination of crab sticks and ham makes the salad hearty, and the remaining ingredients - cheese, cucumber and eggs - complement it perfectly. I recommend using as a dressing.

Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 50 - 70 g crab sticks;
- 1 small fresh cucumber;
- 1 chicken egg, hard-boiled;
- 50 g hard cheese;
- 50 g smoked-boiled ham;
- 2-3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise.


Step-by-step recipe with photos:





First, prepare all the ingredients. Remove the shell from hard-boiled eggs. Separate the white from the yolk and grate them separately on a medium grater.




Wash the cucumber and cut off the ends. We taste the cucumber for bitterness from the side of the stalk. If the cucumber is bitter, peel the skin. Cut the cucumber into small cubes. We also cut the ham into small cubes.




Finely chop the crab sticks. Grate the hard cheese onto a medium grater.




Line the portion form with cling film so that the edges of the film hang over the salad bowl. Lubricate the bottom with a small amount of mayonnaise.






Lay out a layer of cheese and apply mayonnaise.




Place crab sticks on the cheese, press lightly, apply mayonnaise.




Next, add a layer of yolk and grease with mayonnaise.






Place cucumbers on the yolks and mayonnaise again.




Next is a layer of ham. Lightly compact the salad and grease it with mayonnaise again.




Turn the pan over onto a plate.




Remove the form and carefully release the salad from the film.






Decorate the top of the salad with grated egg whites.

I have been using this recipe for a long time, sometimes I make this salad for breakfast or dinner. There is another version of this salad with crab sticks, but that's a completely different story. I will introduce you to the classic version of the Snow White salad.

For the salad, prepare the necessary products from the list. Eggs must be boiled first.

Cut the Chinese cabbage into strips and place in a bowl.

Cut the boiled chicken fillet into cubes and add to the bowl with the cabbage.

    Rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Pour in cold water at the rate of half a glass of rice - half a glass of water. Add salt and bring the water to a boil. Then tightly cover the pan with a lid and simmer the rice over low heat until the water has completely evaporated and the rice is ready. Rinse hot rice with cold water. You can use not just plain long-grain rice, but steamed rice. But it usually has some strange aftertaste.


    Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.


    Mix all salad ingredients in a deep bowl. Add salt to taste.
