Maggi for the second meat hedgehogs. Seasoning Maggi "On the second" for meat hedgehogs with rice and carrots

Do you cook meat hedgehogs from Maggi? I'm here - very regularly and today we will cook them together

In fact, I always have such mixtures of rights in my kitchen. I fry barbecue wings or legs with garlic, and also make goulash or buckwheat in a merchant's way with such ready-made sets. and while alive and well. Personally, for me, this not only saves time, but also helps not very knowledgeable housewives.

Meat Hedgehog Mix with Rice and Carrots by Maggi. I no longer remember the exact price, but in general it is sold for 45 rubles on discounts.

It is a package with two compartments, where the mixtures for minced meat and sauce are collected. Also on the package there is all the necessary information - calorie content, composition, step-by-step cooking instructions and a description of the desired products. Since this is not the first time I have been making these hedgehogs, for myself I am already deviating from the manufacturer's instructions. For example, I cannot say what exact amount of minced meat I take, I think that it is more than indicated. And I prefer to use one medium carrot and one small onion.

Advice Chop the onion as finely as possible, otherwise these "construction logs" will interfere with you and even fall out of the minced meat during kneading.

So, we have prepared grated carrots, finely chopped onions and minced meat. I take about three tablespoons of rice without a slide and pour hot water - as indicated in the instructions - for ten minutes or less.

By the way, I once heard from a former colleague a contemptuous type of "fu, hedgehogs, one rice, no meat." Well .... I can say that it depends on how you cook. Do you seriously think that three tablespoons of rice for half a kilo of minced meat is so much?? I don’t know what recipe she was fed with these hedgehogs, but in my case, my husband is tasting and he doesn’t complain about anything.

We take 400 ml of water, add 3 tablespoons (already with a slide) of sour cream there and pour the contents from the package "for sauce". All this needs to be mixed.

Pour spices "for minced meat", carrots, onions and rice together with water into a bowl with minced meat. I personally add a little more spices for minced meat, I just have minced meat a little more than 500 g, so ... Then everything is thoroughly mixed

We can say that all the main work is ready. Then you need to blind the hedgehogs and place them on the fire in a deep frying pan. The instructions say about 10 hedgehogs, but I do everything by eye and it comes out differently. Now, as we can see, twelve came out. Then pour all the talker under the sauce and you're done. Now all this should be stewed for about 30 minutes, and you just stir occasionally. I interfere 10 times for sure.

The dish is ready!

I prefer to serve with potatoes, but sometimes it was also with buckwheat ... and with peas ... here it’s the tenth thing. Hedgehogs during the cooking process decrease in size and watering is obtained a lot, when serving, you can not save.

I have no complaints about this product and give it a well-deserved five stars.

Oh yes, "harmful composition"

I have everything, bon appetit everyone.

Minced meat dishes, just like pastries, are my weak point. I can bake meat, I can make lasagna, I can whip up thick and tasty carbonara, but meatballs and hedgehogs with cutlets are not my element. I didn’t do anything, as soon as I didn’t go out, but something was missing, I wanted something delicious, but it turns out “well, normal”. Having completely freaked out, I nevertheless decided to buy Maggi "On the second" for meat hedgehogs in order to cook something really tasty with minced meat at least once in my life.

I bought it at a local butcher's. I have not been able to find these wonderful packages in chain stores for a long time. for minced meat and meatballs with hedgehogs, wherever I look - everywhere is chicken, breast, legs, wings, but there is no minced meat. No, at least crack. Therefore, the cost of my purchase was slightly higher than the store - about a hundred.

P.S. I found this particular bag recently in the Perekrestok store, the cost was about 60-80 rubles.

Description:

Standard package like all Maggis, consisting of two compartments. Top - seasoning for minced meat, bottom - seasoning for gravy.

In addition, you will also need onions, carrots, rice and sour cream. Well, of course, the stuffing itself.

In use:

Doing strictly according to the recipe is not mine. Of course, I would like not to deviate from what the manufacturer writes, but I simply do not know how. Cooking and make-up are those areas where passion deviates from the canons as you like, so here I decided to try to experiment, but within the limits of the permissible.

In my arms I had kilogram of homemade minced meat.

She pulled the minced meat out of the bag, salted it, peppered it, added a little dry garlic and dry cilantro. There was a little fry from the recent borscht (carrot + onion) in the refrigerator, and I decided, without further ado, to add this instead of fresh carrots and fresh onions to future hedgehogs. So, I thought it would be juicier and more interesting. The total amount of frying was about four tablespoons.

Then I took half a glass of rice and poured boiling water over it. I stirred it, drained it, poured it again and left it for 20 minutes. Basmati took rice - according to my logic, it should have cooked in hedgehogs faster and sound more interesting than usual.

As the manufacturer tells, mix the minced meat with rice without draining the water from it. Well, I didn’t drain it, except that it was not the first water, but the second))

I added seasoning from the bag from the top and mixed thoroughly until a homogeneous mass was formed.

I cooked hedgehogs in a deep frying pan. From a kilogram of minced meat, I got a full frying pan of rounds, about 3 centimeters in diameter. I was afraid to do more because neither the rice nor the minced meat itself would be fully cooked (my sore subject).

I put it on a small fire and started preparing the sauce.

The sauce was mixed from six to seven tablespoons of sour cream with the addition of a dry mixture from the bottom of the Maggi package. While the hedgehogs were half-stewed, half-fried, the mixture was infused. After kneading, I added a tablespoon of hot water to it for a stronger opening of the seasoning (yes, again deviating from the rules).

The hedgehogs languished little by little in the frying pan for about half an hour. Didn't add gas. Before adding the sauce, I drained part melted juice-fat from hedgehogs, so that it doesn’t turn out to be a tasty slurry instead of gravy.

I added the sauce, mixed lightly and left for 10 minutes to soak.

As a result:

It turned out very nice and it was confirmed not only by me, but also by the family. Juicy, fragrant hedgehogs that just melted in your mouth. Served with boiled pasta. The only thing I paid with in my experiment was that there was very little gravy. It was enough for a couple of servings, while the hedgehogs remained on the second day, that is, in the end, for two dinners for two adults and two children.

In the general taste of the finished dish, I can not identify any specific seasoning. This is a successful bouquet of balanced spices, where no one dominates, but overall it sounds colorful.

The gravy turned out to have a more pronounced taste, but again, it is extremely difficult to single out something in this array. This is the first time I meet this, most often you can single out a couple of taste accent notes.

I am more than satisfied with this mixture, even if you omit the fact that I again modernized a good part of the recipe from the manufacturer for myself. The taste of minced meat and fragrant seasonings was appreciated by two picky men and they happily chewed the hedgehogs on both cheeks, saying that this time I managed to make something very cool from minced meat. Yes, I felt it myself and breathed a sigh of relief. It was difficult to resist not to put supplements, but I still managed to do it))

Everyone in our family loves hedgehogs. I cooked them according to different recipes, but still the most beloved ones remain just hedgehogs with sour cream filling. I didn’t get bored a bit, because when I saw Maggi for hedgehogs, I snagged a bag home. I think it will taste a little different. However, there was a fear that the children would not eat.

Maggi on the second for hedgehogs.

The bag is divided into two parts. In one part for seasoning sauce, in the other for minced meat.

Here's what we needed to prepare.

MAGGI® For the second for meat hedgehogs with rice and carrots - 1 pc., minced meat - 500g, uncooked rice - 70g, carrots - 2 pcs., onion - 1 pc., sour cream - 3 tbsp.

I took more rice - 110 gr came out, 1 multi-glass. I am not friendly with a frying pan, so my hedgehogs will cook in a slow cooker.

There is a recipe on the back of the bag, according to which these hedgehogs should be cooked.

1. Soak rice (70 g) in half a glass of hot water (~ 100 ml) and leave for 10 minutes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion.

Mix the minced meat (500 g), vegetables and rice, without draining the water from the rice, with the contents of the sachet from the minced meat compartment.

2. Form 10 round hedgehogs and place them in a deep preheated pan, pre-greased with vegetable oil.

3. Mix sour cream with 400 ml of cold water, add the contents of the sachet from the SAUCE compartment, mix thoroughly. Pour the sauce into the skillet.

4. Stew the hedgehogs under the lid over low heat for 40 minutes. Depending on the type of rice, the cooking time may increase up to 50 minutes.

The composition of Maggi seasoning is all natural.

Iodized salt (salt, potassium iodate), dried vegetables (18.7%) (tomato (powder), garlic, carrot (0.9%), onion), sugar, wheat flour (contains gluten), corn starch, sugar, spices and herbs (6.7) (cumin, black pepper, basil, bay leaf, dill, parsley, nutmeg, turmeric, curry), sunflower oil (2.3%), acidity regulator (citric acid). The product may contain trace amounts of milk, celery.

So, follow the instructions on the package ... According to her, three two carrots, cut the onion, pour rice with boiling water.

I was in such a hurry that I didn’t take a picture of the seasoning from the first compartment. But it looks like suneli hops or Provence herbs... Very fragrant mixture of herbs, pleasant smell. I really liked the scent. I sniffed the empty bag for a long time.

I was also in such a hurry that I drained the water from the rice. I read the recipe on the pack well and added new water to the minced meat, as Maggi wrote.

I formed hedgehogs and put them in a slow cooker. Well, I did the sauce.

There is much more seasoning for the sauce than for minced meat, since there is also starch. The whole bank of sour cream left me. The seasoning is also very aromatic for the sauce.

I poured all the hedgehogs with sauce and into the slow cooker for 1 hour to stew. After 30 minutes, the aroma of hedgehogs began to attract children.

On a signal, they got our dinner with Maggie ...

There is actually a lot of sauce and it is very tasty and thick. At first, I just didn't post it all.

Hedgehogs came out very tasty, very fragrant, very tender. Melted in your mouth. That's who makes Maggi's recipes for the second ??? some super chef! I would never have thought to add water to the stuffing! As much as 100 ml! And I think that's what makes them so soft. And the sauce is thick, of good consistency thanks to the starch that the manufacturer added to the herbal mixture. And how the herbs are selected ... mmm ... the aroma is indescribable !!! BUT the hedgehogs were appreciated by my husband and I and the youngest daughter, the eldest tried and preferred empty fish in flour with salt ... She is not a fan of spicy herbs at all ((.

In general, I was very satisfied with the result. The three of us ate all the hedgehogs. The husband almost ate a bowl of the multicooker at the same time, while collecting all the sauce from it with a special spoon. I will definitely buy more!
