Seasoning Maggi "On the second" for meat hedgehogs with rice and carrots. Maggi seasoning "On the second" for meat hedgehogs with rice and carrots - "Juicy hedgehogs with creamy sauce

Minced meat dishes, just like baked goods, are my weak point. I can bake meat, I can make lasagne, I can whip up a thick and tasty carbonara, but meatballs and hedgehogs with cutlets are not my thing. I did everything I did, as soon as I didn’t go out of my way, but something is missing, I want it tasty, but it turns out "well, norms." Having finally freaked out, I nevertheless decided to buy Maggi "Secondary" for meat hedgehogs, so that at least once in my life I could cook something really tasty with minced meat.

I bought it at a local meat shop. In chain stores, I have not been able to find these wonderful packages for a long time. for minced meat and meatballs with hedgehogs wherever I look - everywhere is chicken, breast, legs, wings, but there is no minced meat. No, at least crack it. Therefore, the cost of my purchase was slightly higher than the store price - about a hundred square meters.

P.S. I found this particular bag recently in the Perekrestok store, the cost was about 60-80 rubles.

Description:

A standard package like all Maggi, consisting of two compartments. Upper - seasoning for minced meat, lower - seasoning for gravy.

In addition, you will need onions, carrots, rice and sour cream. Well, of course the stuffing itself.

In use:

Doing strictly according to the recipe is not my thing. Of course, I want not to deviate from what the manufacturer writes, but I simply can't do it. Cooking and make-up are those areas where you want to deviate from the canons of passion, so here I decided to try to experiment, but within the limits of what is permissible.

I had in my arms a kilogram of homemade minced meat.

She pulled the minced meat out of the bag, salted and pepper, added a little dry garlic and dry cilantro. There was a little frying left in the refrigerator from the recent borscht (carrots + onions) and I decided, without further ado, add this instead of fresh carrots and fresh onions to future hedgehogs. So, it seemed to me, it would be juicier and more interesting. The total amount of frying was about four tablespoons.

Then she took half a glass of rice and poured boiling water over it. She interfered, poured, poured again and left for 20 minutes. Rice took Basmati - according to my logic, he should have cooked in hedgehogs faster and sound more interesting than usual.

As the manufacturer says, mix the minced meat with the rice without draining the water. Well, I didn't drain, unless it was not the first water, but the second))

I added the seasoning from the bag from the top and stirred thoroughly until a homogeneous mass was formed.

I cooked hedgehogs in a deep frying pan. From a kilogram of minced meat, I got a full frying pan of round pieces, with a diameter of about 3 centimeters. I was afraid to do more in view of the fact that neither the rice nor the minced meat itself will be cooked to the end (my sore subject).

I put it on a small fire and started making the sauce.

The sauce was kneaded from six to seven tablespoons of sour cream with the addition of dry mixture from the bottom of the Maggi bag. While the hedgehogs were half-stewed-half-fried, the mixture was infused. After mixing, I added a tablespoon of hot water to it for a stronger opening of the seasoning (yes, again deviating from the rules).

The hedgehogs gradually languished in the frying pan for about half an hour. I didn't add gas. Before adding the sauce, I drained part melted juice-fat from hedgehogs, so as not to get a delicious slurry instead of gravy.

I added the sauce, mixed lightly and left to soak for 10 minutes.

As a result:

It turned out very nicely and this was confirmed not only by me, but also by the family. Juicy, fragrant hedgehogs that simply melted in your mouth. Served with boiled pasta. The only thing I paid for in my experiment was that there was very little gravy. It was enough for a couple of servings at most, while the hedgehogs remained on the second day, that is, in the end, for two dinners for two adults and two children.

In the general taste of the finished dish, I cannot identify any particular seasoning. It is a successful bouquet of balanced spices, where no one dominates, but overall it sounds colorful.

The gravy turned out to have a more pronounced taste, but again, it is extremely difficult to distinguish something in this array. This is the first time I meet this, most often you can distinguish a couple of tasteful accent notes.

I am more than happy with this mixture, even if I omit the point that I again modernized a good part of the recipe from the manufacturer for myself. The taste of minced meat and aromatic spices was appreciated by two picky men and happily smuggled the hedgehogs by both cheeks, saying that this time I managed to make something very cool from minced meat. Yes, and I myself felt it myself and breathed out with relief. It was difficult to restrain myself not to put additives, but I still managed to do it))

Do you cook Maggi's meat hedgehogs? I've been - very regularly, and today we will cook them together

In fact, I always have such mixtures of rights in my kitchen. I fry barbecue wings or legs with garlic, and I also make goulash or buckwheat like a merchant with these ready-made sets. and while she is alive and well For me personally, this not only saves time, but also helps not very knowledgeable housewives.

Mix for cooking meat hedgehogs with rice and carrots from Maggi. I don't remember the exact price anymore, but in general it is sold at discounts for 45 rubles.

It is a package with two compartments, where mixtures for minced meat and sauce are collected. The package also contains all the necessary information - calorie content, composition, step-by-step instructions for cooking and a description of the necessary products. Since this is not the first time I have made these hedgehogs, for myself I already deviate from the manufacturer's instructions. For example, I cannot say what exact amount of minced meat I am taking, I think that it is more than indicated. And I prefer to use one medium carrot and one small onion.

Advice Chop the onion as small as possible, otherwise then these "construction logs" will interfere with you and even fall out of the minced meat during the kneading process.

So, we have prepared grated carrots, finely chopped onions and minced meat. I take about three level tablespoons of rice and fill it with hot water - as indicated in the instructions - for ten minutes or less.

By the way, I once heard from a former colleague a contemptuous kind of "fu, hedgehogs, one rice, no meat." Nuuu .... I can say that it depends on how you cook. Do you seriously think that for a pound of minced meat, three tablespoons of rice is so much ?? I don’t know what recipe she was fed with these hedgehogs, but in my case the spouse tastes and he doesn’t complain about anything.

We take 400 ml of water, add 3 tablespoons (already with a slide) of sour cream there and pour out the contents from the "for sauce" bag. All this needs stirring.

Pour spices "for minced meat", carrots, onions and rice together with water into a bowl with minced meat. I personally add a little more spices for the minced meat, I just have a little more minced meat than 500 g, so ... Then everything is thoroughly mixed

We can say that all the main work is ready. Then you need to mold the hedgehogs and place them on the fire in a deep frying pan. The instructions say about 10 hedgehogs, but I do everything by eye and it comes out differently. Now, as we see, it turned out twelve. Then pour everything with a chatterbox under the sauce and you're done. Now all this should be stewed for about 30 minutes, and you just stir occasionally. I interfere 10 times for sure.

The dish is ready!

I prefer to serve with potatoes, but sometimes it was with buckwheat ... and with peas ... that's the tenth thing. Hedgehogs in the process of cooking decrease in size and watering is obtained a lot, when serving, you can not save.

I can not expose any complaints about this product and give the well-deserved five stars.

Oh yes, the "harmful compound"

I have it all, bon appetit, everyone.

In our family, hedgehogs love everything very much. I cooked them according to different recipes, but all the same, the most beloved ones are just hedgehogs with sour cream filling. I didn't get a little boring, because when I saw Maggi for hedgehogs, I hooked a bag home. I think there will be at least a slightly different taste. However, there was a fear that the children would not eat.

Maggi for the second for hedgehogs.

The bag is divided into two parts. In one part for the sauce, seasoning, in the other for minced meat.

Here's what we needed for cooking.

MAGGI® For the second for meat hedgehogs with rice and carrots - 1pc., Minced meat - 500g, uncooked rice - 70g, carrots - 2pc., Onions - 1pc., Sour cream - 3 tbsp.

I took more rice - 110 grams came out, 1 multi-glass. I'm not friends with a frying pan, so my hedgehogs will cook in a slow cooker.

Behind the bag there is a recipe according to which these hedgehogs should be cooked.

1. Soak rice (70 g) in half a glass of hot water (~ 100 ml) and leave for 10 minutes. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the onion.

Mix the minced meat (500 g), vegetables and rice, without draining the water from the rice, with the contents of the bag from the STAFF COMPARTMENT.

2. Form 10 round hedgehogs and place them in a deep preheated frying pan greased with vegetable oil.

3. Mix the sour cream with 400 ml of cold water, add the contents of the sachet from the SAUCE compartment, mix thoroughly. Pour the sauce into the skillet.

4. Simmer the hedgehogs covered over low heat for 40 minutes. The cooking time can be up to 50 minutes depending on the type of rice.

The composition of the Maggi seasoning is all natural.

Iodized salt (salt, potassium iodate), dried vegetables (18.7%) (tomato (powder), garlic, carrots (0.9%), onions), sugar, wheat flour (contains gluten), corn starch, sugar, spices and herbs (6.7) (cumin, black pepper, basil, bay leaf, dill, parsley, nutmeg, turmeric, curry), sunflower oil (2.3%), acidity regulator (citric acid). The product may contain a small amount of milk, celery.

So, we follow the instructions on the package ... According to it, three two carrots, cut the onion, pour boiling water over the rice.

I was in such a hurry that I did not photograph the seasoning from the first compartment. But it looks like suneli hops or Provencal herbs ... A very fragrant mixture of herbs, a pleasant smell. I really liked the scent. I sniffed the empty bag for a long time.

I was also in such a hurry that the water was drained from the rice. I read the recipe on the pack well and added new water to the minced meat, as it was written by Maggi.

She formed hedgehogs and put them in a multicooker. Well, I got busy with the sauce.

For sauce, seasoning is much more than for minced meat, since there is also starch there. Sour cream has gone from me all the can. For the sauce, the seasoning is also very aromatic.

I poured all the hedgehogs with sauce and in a slow cooker for 1 hour for stewing. After 30 minutes, the aroma of hedgehogs began to attract children.

At a signal they got our dinner with Maggi ...

There is actually a lot of sauce and it is very tasty and thick. At first, I just didn't put it all out.

The hedgehogs came out very tasty, very fragrant, very tender. Melted in my mouth. Here's who makes Maggi's recipes for the second ??? some kind of super chef! I myself would never have thought of adding water to the minced meat! As much as 100ml! And it seems to me that this is why they are so tender. And the sauce is thick, good consistency thanks to the starch that the manufacturer added to the herbal mixture. And how the herbs were selected ... mmm ... the aroma is indescribable !!! BUT the hedgehogs were appreciated by my husband and I and the youngest daughter, the eldest tried and preferred empty fish in flour and salt ... She is not a fan of my spicy herbs at all ((.

In general, I was very pleased with the result. The three of us ate all the hedgehogs. At the same time, the husband did not eat a little bowl of the multicooker, while he collected all the sauce from it with a special spoon. Will definitely buy more!
