Ingredients

To cook peppers stuffed with minced chicken in the oven, you will need:
fresh bell pepper - 1 kg.
For filling:
rice - 2 cups;
chicken fillet - 750 g;
ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp;
salt - to taste;
carrots - 5 pcs.;
onions - 3 pcs.;

vegetable oil for frying vegetables - 3-4 tbsp. l.
For tomato sauce:
tomato juice - 1 liter;
tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;
sugar - 2 tbsp. l.;
salt - 1 tsp;
sour cream - 5-6 tbsp. l. (optional).

Cooking steps

Prepare ingredients for cooking.

Rinse rice several times in warm water.

Pour boiling water over the rice, salt and cook for about 5-7 minutes from the moment of boiling (until the rice is half cooked). Then drain the rice in a colander and rinse. Leave until completely cool.

Minced meat for this dish can be purchased or cooked from chicken meat. I cooked minced chicken breast, separating the meat from the bone frame (you can cook the first course from the bone).

Peel carrots and onions.

Fry the carrots and onions, stirring occasionally, in vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown.

To remove the seed pod from a bell pepper, press the stalk into the inside of the pepper and then remove it. Rinse peppers under running water.

Combine half-cooked rice, ground black pepper, salt and minced meat, add cooled 3-4 tablespoons of carrots fried with onions, which we set aside, mix well. Stuffing for stuffing peppers is ready.

Fill each pepper tightly with the prepared stuffing.

Put the stuffed peppers in a single layer in a deep dish, pour the prepared tomato sauce on top.

  5. For the sauce, instead of rye flour, you can use wheat flour, but then it needs to be fried until golden in a pan. Mix flour with sour cream and two glasses of brine.
  6. We put the pepper stuffed with meat in a mold, pour the sauce so that the vegetables are completely covered with it. If there is not enough sauce, add brine. Cook the peppers for 40 minutes (temperature 180°C).

Roasted Red Peppers Stuffed with Cheese and Tomatoes

Ingredients:
- Bulgarian pepper (large) - 4-5 pcs.
- Chicken fillet - 1 pc.,
- Tomato (small) - 2-3 pcs.
- Green onion - a few feathers,

- Yogurt without flavoring additives - 2 tbsp.
- Hard cheese - 100-150g
- Spices

Cooking:
1. To begin with, we clean the peppers from the insides. Only it is necessary to leave the tails so that there is more space inside for the filling, with which we will fill each half. 2. For the filling, it is necessary to cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, about 1 × 1 cm. So it will be more convenient to put the minced meat in the halves of the peppers.


3. We process the tomatoes separately. First you need to separate the skin. To do this, boil water and dip the tomatoes in it for about a minute.
4. Then we take out the tomatoes, they cool quickly and you can very easily remove the peel. We cut already peeled tomatoes into small cubes, about 0.5 × 0.5 cm, no more.
5. Separately chop the green onions and parsley.


6. Now you need to mix all the minced meat together. So, mix the chopped chicken fillet, chopped tomatoes and herbs. Add salt, pepper and additional spices to taste. There we add 2 tbsp. yogurt without additives. We mix everything thoroughly.


7. Now on the baking sheet on which the chicken will be cooked in pepper, lay out the halves of the pepper. In each halves we impose a ready-made stuffing with chicken.

For eight peppers we take 400 g of chicken breast and 200 g of cheese. We prepare paprika in the standard way: clean, wash. Tails without seeds can be left for beauty or removed. Here the choice is up to the owner.

Cut the chicken fillet into cubes by a centimeter or smaller. Can be twisted into minced meat. Fry immediately or after marinating in Provence herbs.

For five peppers we take 300 g of chicken meat. We prepare, following the recommendations above.

We fill the boats with stuffing. Lay out on an oiled baking sheet. Bake at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Ten minutes before cooking, sprinkle with grated cheese.

  • You can freeze halves of peppers stuffed with chicken breast and tomatoes. It will be convenient to bake them before the feast.

Option 4 - how to cook peppers stuffed with chicken breast and mushrooms

We stuff all the same boats with julienne and get an archival dish.

For 6 paprikas we take 200 g of mushrooms, one onion, 250 g of chicken fillet. Cut peppers into halves, clean, wash.

In a frying pan, fry chicken pieces (cubes 10 mm in size), quarters of mushrooms (leave a few whole for decoration), onion half rings. After 10 minutes, add salt, spices, sour cream (3 tablespoons).
