  4. Knead the cheese-egg mixture until you obtain a single plastic mass. Take a sample and, if necessary, add salt or add a little more garlic. A snack shouldn't be bland!
  5. Roll the resulting salad into balls the size of small tangerines.
  6. Three carrots on a fine grater. Squeeze the resulting mass to remove excess juice. We cover each ball formed from cheese and eggs with a thin but continuous layer of carrots without gaps.
  7. Place the prepared appetizer on a plate. To complete the tangerines, add green basil leaves or other fresh herbs. Also, if desired, you can put a small piece of olive or prune on each formed ball to make the dish even more like tangerines.
