Prepared according to the classic recipe, the salad consists of only four basic components: boiled chicken fillet, canned pineapple, cheese and a small amount of mayonnaise, and it turns out to be nourishing, juicy and very delicate in taste. Having boiled the chicken fillet in advance, such a salad can be prepared and served in just a few minutes, which sometimes comes in handy during the holiday rush.

In this recipe I will also tell you about an interesting method of cooking chicken breast, which is worth trying for everyone for whom the juiciness and delicate taste of chicken fillet plays an important role in any dish. Shall we begin?!

To prepare the Ladies' Caprice salad according to the classic recipe, you will need the ingredients indicated in the list.

Boil the chicken fillet. In order for the fillet to be aromatic, very juicy and delicate in taste, I cook it according to the method proposed at one time by Julia Child.

In accordance with this method, you need to measure 0.7-1 liter of cold water into a pan and add some aromatic spices and herbs. I add 2 bay leaves, 5-6 allspice peas and the bottom of the parsley stems. There should not be too much water in the pan; it should only cover the chicken fillet by a few centimeters.

When the water boils, you need to add the chicken fillet to the pan and bring the water back to an active boil over low heat.

As soon as the water begins to actively boil, cover the pan with a lid, turn off the heat and leave the fillet in hot water for another 20-25 minutes.

After which the fillet can be removed onto a plate, cooled and used for making a salad or at your discretion.

This cooking method is best suited for small to medium-sized pieces of chicken fillet (up to 300 grams). To be sure, I still boil larger pieces of fillet in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. The method is not suitable for boiling bone-in chicken breast or poultry fillets.

Cut the chilled chicken fillet into small cubes.

Fillet boiled according to the Julia Child method will be fully cooked, but will not be completely white, as it usually becomes when cooked for a long time, but will retain a light, subtle pinkish tint.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Cut the canned pineapple into small pieces.

Place a layer of grated cheese in a salad bowl or serving container and brush it with a small amount of mayonnaise.

Add a layer of chicken, a little more mayonnaise and, if desired, a pinch of salt and/or ground black pepper (I only add a little salt to the layers of chicken since it was cooked in unsalted water).

Add a layer of canned pineapple and repeat layers, brushing each layer with a little mayonnaise.

Sprinkle the salad with grated cheese and serve.

In a simplified serving option, you can simply mix all the ingredients, add a little mayonnaise and season the salad to your liking. If desired, you can also add 1 finely chopped clove of garlic.

  • Chicken meat, 500 grams;
  • Chicken eggs, 5 pieces;
  • Canned pineapples, 250-300 grams;
  • Hard cheese, 150 grams;
  • Garlic, a few cloves;
  • Olive oil, 2-4 tablespoons;
  • Green onions, 30-50 grams;
  • Sour cream;
  • Salt;
  • Salad leaves.

Cooking recipe:

  1. First of all, let's prepare the meat. Not any chicken meat is suitable for a salad; for example, meat from a leg will be too fatty and not suitable for a diet salad. The most suitable would be white meat - fillet, breast. Rinse the meat well under running water. Place a pan of water on the fire and lightly salt it. We will boil the meat until completely cooked, this is approximately half an hour, no less. For this salad, many people use smoked meat or grilled chicken, of course it turns out delicious. However, then the salad will no longer be healthy and dietary. Cool the finished meat and cut into small pieces.
  2. Let's move on to chicken eggs. Use chicken eggs; do not replace them with quail eggs. Chicken eggs will fit better into the combination of ingredients. Fill the eggs with water and set to boil on the fire. When the water boils, boil the eggs for another 8 minutes. Place the finished eggs under running cold water. Thanks to this procedure, we can easily separate the entire shell from the eggs. Peel the eggs and cut into cubes. There is no need to grate or chop the eggs too much; they should fit well in the finished salad.
  3. Salt all the liquid from the canned corn. Transfer the corn to a separate container to dry a little.
  4. Cut the canned pineapples into small cubes, not very finely. You can also use fresh pineapple, but it will take longer to prepare.
  5. Grate the hard cheese onto a fine grater so that you get airy and tender shavings.
  6. Green onions must be cut into thin rings.
  7. Peel the garlic and grate it on a fine grater. Then add it to the sour cream. Also add olive oil. Stir the resulting sauce.
  8. Wash the lettuce leaves and tear them into medium pieces with your hands. Place the leaves on the dish in which we will serve the salad.
  9. Mix all the ingredients in a deep bowl, add salt and season with sauce. Mix the whole salad thoroughly and place the salad on the lettuce leaves. We can serve it to the table.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet, 450-500 grams;
  • Hard cheese, 150-200 grams;
  • Prunes, 200 grams;
  • Chicken eggs, 5 pieces;
  • Carrots, 2-3 pieces;
  • One pomegranate;
  • Kiwi, 2 pieces;
  • Sour cream;
  • Salt to taste.

Step by step recipe:

  1. We will prepare the salad according to this recipe in layers. Let's prepare all the components of the salad. We will boil the chicken fillet, put the meat in boiling water, add a little salt to the water. Chicken meat will boil very quickly. Then cool the fillet and cut into thin strips. To keep the chicken meat very tender, leave it to cool directly in the broth. This way the meat will be very tender and juicy.
  2. We will grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  3. Pour hot water over the prunes half an hour before cooking. Then drain the water and cut the prunes into strips.
  4. Place the chicken eggs in a saucepan with water and set to boil on the fire. Once the water boils, cook the eggs for another 7-8 minutes. Cool the eggs under cold water. Peel and cut the eggs into small cubes or put them through a vegetable cutter.
  5. The carrots must be boiled. It will be ready within half an hour after the water boils. Let the finished carrots cool and peel. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Carrots can be added fresh, but boiled carrots make the salad taste more delicate.
  6. Peel the pomegranate and separate all the seeds. You can add more pomegranate, depending on your taste.
  7. Peel the kiwi and cut into thin rings or cubes.
  8. Now we can lay out the salad in layers. The first layer will be chicken fillet. We put a carrot layer on the second floor of the salad. The third layer will be chicken eggs, and the fourth layer will be prunes. The fifth layer will be hard cheese. Grease each layer generously with sour cream and add a little salt. Decorate the salad with pomegranate and kiwi. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

  • One can of canned corn;
  • Fresh cucumbers, 4 pieces;
  • Garlic, a few cloves;
  • Hard cheese, 200 grams;

  1. Let's prepare delicious and tender chicken fillet. Put a pan of water on the fire and bring it to a boil, salt the water and add a little pepper, add one bay leaf. Place clean meat in boiling water. Boil the fillet until tender, leave it to cool in water, it will be juicy and tender. It's better to do this a few hours before preparing the salad.   2. Remove liquid from canned pineapples. We cut them into small cubes, but so that the pineapples feel good in the salad.
  3. We also remove the liquid from the canned corn and leave it to dry a little.
  4. Wash fresh cucumbers, remove the bitter part from both sides, if necessary, peel the cucumbers. Cut the cucumbers into cubes or strips.
  5. Grate the hard cheese onto a coarse or fine grater.
  6. Wash the green onions in running water, cut them into rings, try to cut them smaller.
  7. Peel and chop the garlic with a fine grater or garlic grinder, add it to the sour cream and mix.
  8. Place all the chopped products in a deep bowl. Salt the salad and season with sour cream and garlic, mix our salad well. The flavor is simply amazing thanks to the combination of pineapple, chicken and corn. Serve the salad in separate portions and place it on lettuce leaves.

  • Crab sticks, 250 grams;
  • A jar of canned corn;
  • Cherry tomatoes, 200 grams;
  • Fresh herbs;
  • Olive oil;
  • Salt.

Recipe:

  1. Cut the Beijing cabbage thin and finely.
  2. Cut the crab sticks into rings or strips.
  3. Drain all the juice from the corn.
  4. Cut cherry tomatoes into slices.
  5. Chop fresh herbs.
