  • onion – 1 head;
  • mayonnaise – 100 ml;
  • fresh cucumber – 1-2;
  • eggs – 3-5;
  • crab sticks – 100 grams;
  • round grain rice – 70-80 grams;
  • hard cheese – 20-30 grams;
  • green;
  • olives – 5 pieces;
  • 1 can of sardines in oil.

Boil eggs and rice cereal in salted water until tender. Make sure that the rice does not turn out to be too crumbly, as it will act as a gluing agent. But you shouldn’t overcook it either. Grind the greens, onions and egg whites, crumble the sardine with a fork. And cut the cucumbers into small cubes, grate the cheese through a fine grater, and chop the crab sticks. Combine all the ingredients and knead, then add mayonnaise. Leave some rice for garnish.

Now you need to take the flattest possible dish and carefully lay out the minced meat. In this case, it is necessary to give the mass an oval shape of a monkey, as shown in the photo. The salad should be smoothed out a little, but not pressed down. Next, grind the yolks into a homogeneous mass. Where the animal's eyes will be, place 2 piles, around which you need to sprinkle the yolk over the entire mass. Remove the stacks and place rice over the area. Place half an olive in the center and make the outline of the eyes from the same. But in this case, the olives are cut into strips. You can apply a drop of mayonnaise to the “pupils”. Don't forget to use carrots or boiled beets to create a smile. You can use the remaining greenery to make a hairstyle for the monkey.

Salad for the New Year 2016 “Amazing monkey”. This salad is laid out in layers. But to shape the muzzle, you need to be careful. First you need to make a beet edging, inside which the salad is placed in the following sequence:

  • mashed sprats (1 can);
  • finely chopped smoked sausage (100 grams);
  • corn (0.5 cans);
  • chopped olives (approximately 80-100 grams);
  • grated sweet and sour apple;
  • chopped onion (1 piece);
  • a pack of crumbled crackers (except bacon);
  • boiled carrots, grated on a fine grater (1 piece);
  • boiled potatoes.

Each layer must be coated with a small amount of mayonnaise. Now you can move on to decoration. To do this, the yolks and whites are grated separately, which are laid out in a certain pattern, as shown in the photo. Eyes and a nose are created from olives, and a mouth from carrots. You can make a tongue and ears from hard cheese.

The 2016 New Year's salad may also have the shape of a snowman. That’s why the next salad is called “Funny Snowmen”. Of course, similar dishes have existed before, but this recipe is innovative. For manufacturing you will need the following components:

  • processed cheese (5-6 pieces);
  • hard cheese (100 grams);
  • boiled eggs (6-7 pieces);
  • crab sticks (200 grams);
  • corn (1/3 can);
  • carrots for decoration;
  • mayonnaise to taste.

All ingredients are chopped and grated, then combined and thoroughly kneaded. Then you need to form three balls of different diameters for each snowman. You can place a little grated processed cheese on the dish to create a snow effect and strengthen the structure. Then a snowman is formed, and a spout and a bucket are cut out of carrots. Onion leaves can serve as arms. The salad needs to be refrigerated for at least half an hour.

This salad can surprise even experienced people, despite the fact that its appearance is the most primitive. Its secret lies in the filling. So, you need some canned mushrooms, processed and hard cheese, mayonnaise and boiled eggs. Try to choose the smallest mushrooms, since they will be the filling. Eggs and processed cheese should be grated on a fine grater and combined with mayonnaise. In this case, mayonnaise must be taken in minimal quantities so that the mass does not spread. Use a tablespoon to separate part of the mixture and form a small cake, inside which you need to place the fungus. Then you need to shape the mass into a ball and roll it in grated hard cheese. It is worth noting that the combination of mushrooms and delicate processed cheese can delight real gourmets.

TIP: As a rule, such balls are laid out on a dish, which is covered with green salad leaves or herbs, but you can do it differently and more original. To do this, you need to buy special waffle baskets, on the bottom of which you can put any greens. And then you need to put a ball on top. The smaller the basket and ball, the more convenient it will be to eat this salad.

Well, what's a New Year's celebration without a Christmas tree? That’s right, none, which is why salads for the New Year 2016 should look like a living and real spruce. It is quite easy to construct such a composition, but not every salad is suitable for this. If you hear somewhere that a Christmas tree can be made from Olivier, don’t believe it.   1. "Crab coat" This recipe calls for layering. Just keep in mind that there should be a lot of layers, that is, you layer the ingredients thinly, so they will be repeated. First, you add grated protein (6 pieces for the whole salad), onion on top (1), processed cheese (2 pieces), butter (50 grams), shaved, chilled. Next, the mass is generously lubricated with mayonnaise. On top you crumble crab sticks (200 grams), one green apple, mayonnaise and yolk again.
  2. "Magnificent Margot." Now you will need 300 grams of boiled chicken, 5 eggs, 0.5 cans of pickled mushrooms, 2-3 potatoes and 100 grams of hard or processed cheese. All ingredients are finely chopped and mixed with mayonnaise. After this, you can lay out the salad in a mound.
  3. “Caprice”: mince 300 grams of boiled meat, grind 5 eggs, grate 100 grams of cheese. First you need to marinate the finely chopped onions. Combine everything and add mayonnaise, chopped parsley and dill. Place in a cone shape.
  4. "Fast". This salad for the New Year 2016 is really quick, inexpensive, simple, but tasty. Buy 200 grams of saltine cracker cookies and crush them a little. Add chopped garlic to taste, 1-2 boiled eggs and mayonnaise. Place the salad in a mound and sprinkle plenty of hard cheese on top. Then you decorate it according to the generally accepted method.

Tip: For this kind of recipes, you need to use mayonnaise as thick as possible, or even better, make it yourself. You shouldn’t add too much of it, otherwise the salad won’t stand up in a heap.

This recipe is perfect for vegetarians, as it contains only vegetables. To prepare you need:

  • lettuce leaves;
  • green;
  • tomatoes;
  • fresh cucumbers;
  • boiled potatoes;
  • soybean grains;
  • green peas;
  • mayonnaise or vegetable oil.

Next, the salad is laid in layers. First of all, potatoes are poured in, which must be generously poured with canned oil. Place eggs on top and brush with white mayonnaise. Then add mashed sprats, fresh cucumber, a layer of mayonnaise, squid, cheese, mayonnaise and eggs again. Cover the top of the salad with blue sauce and make waves. Rice, after it has been cooked, must be rinsed with cooled boiled water. This way it will be more crumbly. Hard-boiled eggs and cooked carrots – peel and chop into cubes. Chop the crab sticks in the same way. Place all finished products in a salad bowl and mix gently, after adding salt and pepper. Before serving, decorate “Mom’s Joy” with sprigs of fresh herbs.

Salad with squid

Ingredients:

  • Squid 600 grams
  • Rice 1 cup (boiled)
  • Eggs 4 pieces
  • Green onions 100 grams
  • Mayonnaise sauce
  • Salt, black pepper, parsley to taste

Particular attention should be paid to preparing squid. For this dish you should use fresh sea creatures. Cook them, thoroughly cleaned and gutted, in boiling water over low heat for about 15 minutes. Ideally, properly cooked squid should turn white. When raw or undercooked, they are transparent.

Let cool and cut into either strips or cubes. Cook the rice in lightly salted water until crumbly, then drain the remaining water, rinse the finished rice with cooled boiled water and let it cool. Remove the shell from hard-boiled eggs and chop them. For better taste, they can be mashed with a fork. Cut green onions into small rings.

Mix everything cooked, add salt, pepper and season with mayonnaise. Arrange the ingredients nicely in a salad bowl and garnish with parsley leaves on top. This creation will be extremely popular among seafood lovers.

Shrimp salad

Ingredients:

  • Shrimp 400 grams
  • Eggs 3 pieces
  • 4 potatoes
  • Green peas 150 grams
  • Mayonnaise sauce to taste
  • Lettuce leaves or green onions of your choice for garnish
  • Lemon juice

Shrimp, like any seafood, should be cooked in boiling water. Once ready, let them cool and later remove the shell. The larger the shrimp, the easier it will be to clean them. After the cleaning procedure, they should be sprinkled with just a drop of lemon juice and left for 8 to 10 minutes.

Peel the potatoes and eggs, pre-cooked and cooled, and shape them into small cubes. Pour ingredients into salad bowl. Add peas and shrimp to the contents. Mix everything thoroughly and season with mayonnaise sauce. Garnish the finished dish with lettuce leaves or chopped green onions.

But the preparation of the remaining components is always the same.

It’s easier to boil potatoes and carrots in their skins, then let them cool, peel and grate. Cool the previously hard-boiled eggs, peel them, and, separating the yolk from the white, also grate, but into different dishes. Cut the peeled onion into small pieces and pour boiling water for about 10 minutes to make it soft.

Mash the canned fish by hand with a fork. When all the ingredients are prepared, place them sequentially on top of each other in layers in a transparent salad bowl. This way the dish will look better on the table. Lubricate each layer with a mayonnaise mesh so as not to overdo it. In what order the layers of ingredients should be laid out is up to you, but the yolk layer should be the final one. Garnish with parsley and serve.

This unusual salad came to us from the south of Italy, to be more precise, from the island of Capri. There, “Caprese” carries special honor and glory, because it is made from the most beloved products by Italians: tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. This cheese is made from fresh cow's milk and stored in jars with a special brine, since this cheese product is considered perishable.

Another unusual fact about this dish: in appearance, it resembles the flag of Spain, as it includes red, white and green colors.

Preparation: cut the cheese and washed tomatoes into slices and place one at a time on a round dish, place basil leaves on the mozzarella pieces. Drizzle olive oil on top and serve. Important! Afterwards, it should be allowed to cool, remove the peel and grind with a grater. Wash the horseradish and grate it too. Extract the juice from the lemon and mix it with the remaining ingredients.

Add the resulting dressing to the beets and horseradish laid out in the salad bowl, a pinch of salt, no more, otherwise the salt will kill the pungency of the horseradish, mix and beautifully place a sprig of parsley on top. This dish is best served with strong alcoholic drinks.

Salad appetizer of salted mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 jar of salted mushrooms – 500 grams
  • 3 onions
  • 20 ml vegetable oil
  • Ground black pepper for spiciness

It is best to use homemade mushrooms for this appetizer, so you will know exactly the spiciness of the resulting dish. If this is not possible, store-bought ones will do.

Mushrooms should be washed under room running water and cut into slices or strips. Chop two onions. Cut the last head into rings or half rings: we will need it for decoration. Place everything in a salad bowl, pepper, pour oil on top and mix. Arrange onion rings beautifully on the salad. Serve with alcohol.

Green olive salad appetizer

Ingredients:

  • Green olives, pitted 400 grams
  • Bulbs 2 heads
  • Chopped greens and dill half a glass
  • Apple cider vinegar 15 ml
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Olive oil 45 ml
  • Salt, ground red pepper to taste

Chicken salad with prunes

Ingredients:

Place chicken, prunes, onions in a salad bowl layer by layer, add salt and pour mayonnaise over it. We repeat the procedure. After the second level of layers, decorate with a sprig of dill.

Tongue salad

Ingredients:

  • Tongue, preferably veal 300 grams
  • Potatoes 200 grams
  • Canned green peas 100 grams
  • Bulbs 2 pieces
  • Milk 3 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil 5 tablespoons
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • Parsley

After the tongue has been boiled and cooled, cut it into thin slices. Boil potatoes in their skins, cool and cut into medium cubes. Cut the peeled onion into half rings. Finely chop 4 hard-boiled and peeled eggs. Pour the remaining 2 eggs into a container, add salt, sugar and pepper, beat with a fork or mixer until white foam, then add milk and butter and beat thoroughly again.

Mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl, pour in the sauce, mix, and serve with a garnish of parsley leaves. Your festive New Year's table is ready.

All guests will be satisfied: lovers of meat and poultry, fish and seafood, vegetarians will not be an exception - what is the Italian “Caprese” worth! Pay special attention to serving.

Make sure that the finished dishes are positioned on the table as advantageously as possible. Place the main dish in the middle - most often it is a meat salad. The remaining salad bowls should be divided into two parts and placed evenly on both sides of the signature dish: both fish dishes and snack bars should be present on both sides.

  10. Peeled fresh cucumber is finely cut, placed on the onion, greased with mayonnaise.

Preparing the “Healthy” salad:

Next, lay out the prepared products in layers, forming a round or square tower: chicken - mayonnaise - mushrooms with onions - mayonnaise - eggs - mayonnaise - pickles - mayonnaise - Korean carrots. Decorate the sides of the salad with green onions, place olives on top in the form of a bunch of grapes, and place a sprig of parsley. Leave for a couple of hours.
