I made this salad with corn and tuna from boiled corn, cutting off fresh kernels from the cob, and, of course, from canned corn - both options are good. Just canned food is always on hand.

Capers, as I already wrote, can be completely replaced with pickled cucumbers - they are also delicious with them, but with capers it is still more refined, but this ingredient is definitely not for everyone.

I make a filling of yogurt and mayonnaise. You can also take one. But with mayonnaise, it turns out to be very greasy for me. I take fat-free yogurt for salad, it is more liquid, which I like.


I will show the cooking process on the example of one portion. The total ingredients in the recipe are for 3 servings.

Put washed lettuce leaves and chopped tomato on a plate.
Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces with your hands. You can take Chinese cabbage, and just any salad mix.





It remains to add thinly chopped onions and a salad with corn and tuna is ready!

Of course, you can arrange everything according to your desire and taste. For example, lay the onion on the bottom or cut the tomatoes into cubes, but this will definitely not hurt to enjoy the wonderful taste of this salad. Want to add a boiled egg? Yes, it will look quite good here, I sometimes add. Do you want greenery? I recommend parsley.

By the way, this salad is also good in the lenten menu, without adding fish. Filling in this case can be made from olive (vegetable) oil with the addition of lemon, sugar and salt.

If you can imagine that fish arrives in expensive Moscow restaurants by plane directly from the ocean coast, then it is difficult to suspect supermarkets of this :). And since, for example, fried tuna is served raw inside, the question of the freshness of the fish is very important. Therefore, the most reasonable thing in most of our country is to buy canned food.

But this was a lyrical digression, and now we return to the main thing - we are preparing a salad with tuna and corn and an egg. Let's get started.

Salad with canned tuna and corn recipe

Boil two hard-boiled eggs, cool. My cucumber and greens. Here are all the products in the collection.

Drain liquid from tuna and corn. Mash the tuna with a fork.

Cucumber cut into small cubes.

Finely chop parsley greens.

Eggs cut into cubes.

Put greens and cucumber in a bowl.

Add corn, eggs and ground black pepper.

Now tuna.

Season all this splendor with mayonnaise, mix gently, add salt if necessary. Mayonnaise can be replaced with olive oil.

  2. 2) Put the tuna in a salad bowl and knead it with a spoon, as if pressing down and pushing it apart.

My husband, every time he eats this salad with tuna and corn and egg, the recipe with a photo of which I prepared, confesses his love to me. Of course, he says this without a reason, but I suspect that the combination of ingredients in this dish was not chosen by chance. Ingredients:
- tuna (canned in oil) - 200 g,
- sugar corn (natural in a jar) - 150 g,
- leaf lettuce - 1 bunch,
- natural olives (pitted) - 100 g,
- chicken table egg - 2 pcs.,
- fine-crystalline sea salt, spices, herbs,
- olive oil - 2 tbsp.

The only thermal process is the boiling of eggs. To do this, put the eggs in cold water, and as soon as the water boils, cook them over moderate heat for 8 minutes. Cool in cold water, then peel and cut into cubes.
Sort lettuce leaves. If there are beaten or rotten ones, then we remove them, and wash the rest several times from sand and dirt, and then dry them with a towel and chop them - either just tear them with our hands or cut them into strips with a knife.




Drain the water from the corn and add it to the salad bowl.




Open a jar of tuna, drain the liquid (in principle, it can be used to make fish sauce). We crush the pulp with a fork and put it in a salad bowl.




Now we cut the green olives into a couple of pieces with rings and also add to the salad bowl.






Add chopped eggs to it.




Stir the dish and add a little oil. If desired, you can cut the greens and add spices.

Corn is the queen of the fields! %) Indeed, in addition to eating corn on the cob and obtaining corn oil, this cereal crop can be used in cooking in a very diverse way. I offer you a recipe for a delicious and easy to prepare salad with tuna and corn.


This salad can be made puff, each layer is smeared with sauce (mayonnaise / sour cream + mayonnaise or some other dressing suitable for taste). Since not all members of my family like sauces, in this case I did not use them. In the form, I laid out the salad in layers (more for beauty), and while eating, everyone decided for himself whether he needed sauce or not, and if needed, in what quantity.

Cooking.

We take a jar of canned corn, drain the water and put the grains on the bottom of the salad bowl.


Let's move on to cheese. We rub a piece of hard cheese on a fine grater. Put the cheese chips on top of the corn.



Now it's time for the eggs. Eggs must be hard boiled. Separate the proteins from the yolks, the first we rub on a fine grater. In this form, squirrels remind me of an airy white cloud. Lay the egg whites in the next layer on top of the cheese.



To prepare the salad, I used medium-sized pickles. Pickled cucumbers are tasty and crispy. We cut the cucumbers into thin strips, which will later be placed in our salad on top of the proteins.



Next is the fish. To prepare the salad, I used tuna in natural juice. We take out the pieces of tuna, knead with a fork and spread on the cucumbers.




The last layer, which is also partly decorative, is yolks chopped on a fine grater.
