Canapes with sausage: step-by-step recipe with photos. Canapes on skewers - original combinations for preparing delicious snacks Canapes with raw smoked

I have the entire collection of canapés with photos here:

Today I offer design options meat canapés . Once again I express my admiration for all those who managed to give banal sandwiches an elegant look in simple and accessible ways.

What are these methods?

  • If sausage, ham or boiled pork is cut very thin, it can be rolled into a tube, folded like an accordion and pinned with a skewer
  • In addition to the canapes, we can safely use lettuce, greens, olives and pickled cucumbers (onions, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers)
  • You can make a pate from the meat, fill it into a basket or valovan

Now we look at the pictures and bookmark the article so that at the right moment all the festive canapés will appear before your eyes :-).

Canapes with boiled pork and ham

Thinly slicing ham for such rolls at home is not so easy, so we buy the slices right away. The filling is usually grated cheese with herbs, mayonnaise and garlic.

Ham and cheese rolls

Pour half a teaspoon of curry spices into a dry frying pan and fry for 20-30 seconds over low heat. Now add these spices to 5 tbsp. l. mayonnaise and 500 kg of medium-hard grated cheese. Now - 3 crushed cloves of garlic and a tablespoon of chopped green onions.

Cut the ham into thin slices, spread with cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks. The finished rolls should be covered with film and placed in the refrigerator for an hour, weighed down with a small weight (a cutting board will do).

Pork tenderloin canapes

Roll pork tenderloin (300 g) in spices. Tandoori or curry powder will do. Wrap tightly in foil and bake. Now cut into cubes with a sharp knife and dip in honey-mustard sauce (1 tablespoon honey, 1/2 teaspoon mustard, coffee spoon wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil)

Assembling the canapés on a skewer. Layers below: bread toast, a circle of pickled cucumber, a cube of meat, a pickled onion.

Canapes-primramids

This is what I call canapes, which consist of several products placed on top of each other and pinned to each other with a skewer. Here are some ideas!

Guests grab the canapé by the end of a skewer, keeping their hands clean and keeping all the elements of the sandwich together. For this type of serving, both wooden and shaped plastic skewers are used.

In the article we will present a variety of dishes with sausage on skewers and photos, and describe in detail the method of preparing them. You will learn the rules for decorating canapés so that your buffet will remain fresh throughout the evening and your sandwiches will look impressive. Sausage is the most commonly used sandwich product, and there is a huge variety of such products on store shelves.

You can get creative when composing canapés with sausage on skewers in different ways, looking for original combinations, as well as methods for laying and cutting products. This is a fun and creative process, so be sure to try learning how to make small canapés to surprise your friends and work colleagues.

Preparing the bread

A piece of bread is most often used as the basis for canapés with sausage on skewers. It is distinguished from a simple sandwich by its crispy taste. This can be achieved by making toast or drying it in the oven. White and rye bread are used. Before cooking bread in the oven or frying pan, cut slices 5 to 7 mm thick, cut off the crust and give the piece its original shape. Of course, you can make a square base for canapés, but a round or star-shaped one looks more impressive. Cut them out using metal cookie cutters by pressing.

The exception is the French long baguette. The crust on it is left unchanged, and the cutting is done diagonally, with a slight bevel. It crunches especially pleasantly in canapés, which is why many housewives like to work with baguette.

Then the pieces of bread are placed on a baking sheet in one layer, previously greased with olive or regular sunflower oil, and placed in a preheated oven. You can fry toast in a frying pan on both sides, but make sure that no black spots appear on it. The bread should acquire a golden crust and become simply crispy.

Often in recipes for canapes on skewers with sausage, dried bread is spread with butter, some kind of sauce or cheese spread, and only then the components of the sandwich are laid out.

Option with boiled sausage and cherry tomatoes

To prepare miniature sandwiches, take a dark rye baguette with sesame seeds. Using the method described above, cut and dry the slices in the oven. If desired, you can additionally rub a piece of bread with a peeled and halved clove of garlic. This will add some spice, but may not be to everyone's taste. It is better to make two versions of canapés on skewers with sausage - one with garlic and the other without it. Show concern for your guests, they will certainly appreciate your action.

Place a fresh lettuce leaf, folded in half, on the bread. Buy boiled sausage in a large size so that it is more convenient to fold the slice into four. Not every housewife will be able to cut a meat product so thinly and evenly, so ask the seller to do the machine cutting immediately upon purchase in the store. This will greatly simplify the process of making canapes on skewers with sausage according to the recipe.

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them, cut side down, on the tip of a toothpick. You can additionally add a sprig of parsley or dill between the layers of folded sausage.

Canapes on skewers with sausage, cheese and olives

In the following type of canapé, the bread is not dried in advance, but simply cut out into a circle using a metal mold. Slices of hard cheese are prepared using the same pattern. For such a sandwich, it is better to take boiled sausage, it is juicier and will brighten up the dryness of the bread.

Cut the pickled small cucumbers in half lengthwise and place them on a skewer on top of a rolled-up slice of sausage. Buy olives without pits and put them on with the hole facing down. These sausage and cheese skewers canapés will be an excellent appetizer for alcoholic drinks. Men will appreciate your efforts as excellent.

Juicy canapés with vegetables

To create the next masterpiece for the buffet table, you will need to buy a stick of salami, a piece of hard cheese, a can of pitted olives, fresh tomatoes and a couple of cucumbers, parsley and a French baguette. The bread is cut into slices and fried in the oven or in a frying pan. Allow it to cool slightly, and at this time divide the salami into thin slices.

Place 2 slices on each sandwich. The cheese should be square, and the tomatoes should be cut into slices. Thin slices are used to divide the cucumber into pieces to make it easier to give the strip a curved shape.

Laying out layers

Place the cheese on the dried baguette toast, cover it with a slice of tomato (it is sliced just before serving so that the canapé does not become wet), place a slice of salami on top lying on the tomato, and wrap the second piece in a half-arc and pierce both half of it with a skewer.

Do the same procedure with a strip of fresh cucumber. Place a black olive and a parsley leaf on its side. Salt the vegetables a little, you can add spices or just sprinkle with black pepper.

For such a canape, choose a long skewer so that everything fits freely. You can decorate a stick with a bright element, in our sample it is a bead.

Hot canapés

This canapé with smoked sausage on skewers is served warm. To prepare original sandwiches you will need quail eggs, one for each canapé, smoked hunting sausages, French baguette, salt, dry spices or finely chopped dill (optional), sauce.

First cut the fresh baguette into thin slices diagonally and fry it in vegetable oil in a frying pan. You don’t need a lot of it, just apply a thin layer to the surface. Spread your favorite sauce onto slightly cooled bread. This could be mayonnaise, ketchup, or a homemade option. Smoked sausages are cut into portions, approximately 5-6 cm each, and fried in a frying pan on both sides. Separately, they make fried eggs from small quail eggs. While cooking, season them with salt and seasonings as desired. The canapes are assembled immediately after frying the products. First put the sausage on a piece of bread, then the egg and pierce everything with a skewer. You can even make these canapés for your family’s breakfast. It will be a great start to the day.

Baked canapés with sweet glaze

The unusual combination of flavors makes the following canapes incredibly popular at a festive feast. They are incredibly easy to create and can be prepared in large quantities at once. You can feed unexpectedly arriving guests with delicious sandwiches if you have smoked sausage and a can of pineapple in the refrigerator. For sweet glaze, mix 1 tbsp. l. syrup drained from canned fruits, 3 tbsp. l. teriyaki sauce, 1 tbsp. l. natural honey and the same amount of sweet chili sauce.

Canapes with smoked sausage on skewers are prepared according to the recipe in the oven. First, soak the wooden sticks in water for a while so that they do not burn from the heat of the stove. Then cut the sausage into pieces, place a slice of pineapple on top and pierce everything with a skewer. Dip the canapés in the glaze and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Try to dip only the ingredients into the sauce, otherwise the toothpick will have black spots from the sweet glaze. Bake the pieces at a temperature of 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Canapés are served warm.

Sandwiches with curd cheese

Canapés on skewers with cheese, olives and sausage look original due to the contrasting combination of colors. It’s easy to make cottage cheese yourself, but it’s easier to buy ready-made cheese at the supermarket. Buy salami in large sizes so that the slices can be rolled up or laid out in even layers.

Both one and the second variety of such sandwiches look original. Place curd cheese in a layer of a couple of millimeters on an unrolled slice of salami and roll it all up. The edge of the sausage should be on top. Pierce it with a toothpick and place an olive on top. You can use the stuffed version.

A multi-layer sandwich will be more satisfying. The sausage is cut into small rectangles and laid out in a pack, alternating with a thin layer of cheese. It turns out very tasty. Guests will undoubtedly appreciate such canapés.

Canapes on skewers with sausage, cheese and cucumber

Let's look at another option for preparing delicious canapés without a bread base. You will need a wide salami for cutting large circles, a jar of pickled gherkins. These small cucumbers, no more than 5 cm long, are perfect for wrapping in sausage.

The cheese is soft. The easiest way is to buy cottage cheese in the store; you can make an original snack from grated processed cheese, into which garlic cloves are squeezed through a garlic press and mixed with mayonnaise. You can finely chop the dill into a soft mass and mix the mixture well, then the appetizer will look brighter, adding a contrast of white and green.

How to assemble canapes

A thin circle of salami is laid out on the surface of the board. You can make these canapés with raw smoked sausage on skewers, it will also be delicious. A thin strip of cheese filling is placed in the center, and a gherkin is placed on top of it. Wrap the sausage around the flavored foods so that one edge rests on top of the opposite edge. At this point, strengthen everything with a toothpick.

If desired, you can chop an olive or green olive on top. It is interesting to diversify such canapes by adding bright “notes”, for example, mixing small cubes of red or orange bell pepper into the white cheese filling.

Horizontal canapés

The canapé shown in the photo below differs from the others in its location on the platter. It contains several slices of sausage and two long strips of fresh cucumber. To slice this vegetable so thinly, use a vegetable slicer.

The cucumber is placed first on the skewer in a twisted “accordion” manner, and the salami pieces are folded in the same way. The final product is again a strip of cucumber. These sandwiches can be made at any time of the year. They turn out light and juicy. In addition to sausage, to create such canapes you can use thinly sliced ham or boiled sausage, balyk or carbonate.

Grilled canapés

If you want to truly amaze your guests, then prepare hot canapes like the ones in the photo below in the article. You will need large shrimp, sweet and sour sauce and a stick of smoked sausage. You can sprinkle the canapes with finely chopped parsley before serving.

Remove the shell from the shrimp. Place a piece of smoked sausage on a skewer, “hug” it with shrimp in a circle on top, dip it in the sauce and put it on the grill to cook. Monitor the state of frying and turn the canapés periodically. Serve immediately after preparation. Additionally, prepare the sauce in which guests will dip the canapés. You can make it with mayonnaise, lemon juice and red pepper seasoning, it is recommended to buy a set of Cajun spices. This kebab is sure to please everyone without exception.

Appetizers on skewers are made with or without bread. If available, cut into slices no larger than 5x5 cm or 6x6 cm. Be sure to cut off the crust from regular bread; leave it only on the baguette. Often the bread is dried or fried, and then greased with butter, mayonnaise or processed cheese.

You can use curly knives to cut vegetables. Juicy products are cut just before serving and placed on something dense, for example, a piece of hard cheese or sausage, otherwise the bread will get wet and the canapé will be ruined.

If the sandwich is made with meat, fish or sausage, then you can add greens or lettuce. If the canapé is sweet, add mint leaves or a small cube of Roquefort. Black olives go well with hard cheeses.

Try to get creative and create your own version of canapés for the buffet table. Happy experimenting!
