  3. Scroll through the raw potatoes, combine them with the minced meat and season the mixture with spices.

  • seasonings to your taste;
  • spoon of lemon juice.

Cooking process:

  1. In this recipe, the fish requires pre-processing. To begin with, as always, rinse and dry the fillets well using napkins.
  2. Now the meat needs to be cut into small pieces and lightly fried in a hot frying pan so that the sides become golden brown.
  3. In a bowl, combine sour cream with lemon juice and any seasonings to your liking. You can also add chopped herbs.

  3. Boil some rice in a saucepan until it becomes soft. It can be lightly salted.
  4. In a hot frying pan, fry finely chopped onion until golden brown and combine with rice. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  5. We begin to spread the resulting mass onto the fillet pieces on the side where the wider part is. We wrap them and fasten them with a toothpick or thread so that the filling does not come out.
  6. Place the rolls vertically in a baking dish, pour a little cream on top and put them in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for half an hour.

You can serve the finished appetizer garnished with herbs. If it turns out a little dry, then after you remove the dish from the oven, pour in more cream.

We clean the thawed pollock carcasses, cut off the tails and fins. Cut into medium pieces so that it is convenient for you to eat.

Salt the fish, add a little pepper and bread it in flour to preserve the taste and juiciness of the fish during baking. Also, thanks to flour, pollock acquires a golden brown crust.

Fry the pollock in vegetable oil until golden brown: fry immediately over high heat, the pollock will quickly brown and remove it from the frying pan. It’s just important for us to brown it, give it a golden hue, and then we’ll finish cooking it in the oven.

Let's prepare the vegetables; today we used the simplest ones: carrots and onions, but they are in perfect harmony with the fish. Three carrots on a coarse grater, and cut the onion into cubes. The choice of cutting shape is always yours, so we offer you this option. Some people like to cut carrots into cubes and onions into half rings.

Fry the vegetables in vegetable oil: the onions and carrots should become soft and rosy. Then immediately remove from heat.

Mix the pieces of pollock with sautéed vegetables and place in a baking dish. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, at 180° the fish will cook quickly.

Hot, we serve delicious and juicy pollock with vegetables. This dish will be a complete meal for your family, and if desired, boil any side dish, although pollock with vegetables can be served on its own, straight from the oven. Bon Appetite!

Salute, friends!

I think each of us knows that we must include fish dishes in our diet at least once a week. Therefore, I propose to organize a “Fish Thursday” like in the USSR and make up for the deficiency of phosphorus in our body, which is contained in fish.

After all, phosphorus is involved in all chemical processes in the human body, and a deficiency leads to the destruction of teeth and bones, constant weakness, joint pain and muscle tremors. Therefore, we definitely eat aquatic inhabitants! Then we will be beautiful and healthy with intact teeth and strong nerves.

Today I propose to cook pollock in the oven, which is very tasty and healthy. This sea creature is known and familiar to everyone, and the dishes taste great. And most importantly, with minimal time and effort! Many people complain that this is a dry fish, but if you bake it with vegetables or in a marinade or sauce, it turns out juicy and tender. What can I say, it can even be baked – it’s a universal product.

I have selected all sorts of recipes for every taste. Choose the ones you like best and create a culinary masterpiece to the delight of your loved ones.

And now we choose a recipe, take a good mood and go to the kitchen with a song to conjure...

Before baking, marinate the fish, then it will turn out very tender and juicy. This is a simple recipe, but very tasty. Great dish for dinner!

Ingredients:

  • Pollock - 1 kg.
  • Onion - 2 pcs (large)
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Lemon - 1/2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
  • Parsley
  • Dill
  • Cilantro
  • Paprika
  • ground coriander
  • Ground black pepper

Cooking process:

1. First of all, let's take care of our fish. Using a knife, scrape off the scales, then peel and remove the black film. We rinse the carcasses well and blot excess water with a paper towel.

Important! If the black film is not removed, the fish meat will taste bitter.

2. Now we need to salt it, sprinkle with seasonings - paprika, coriander and ground pepper, mix.

3. Meanwhile, while the pollock is soaked in seasonings, we begin chopping the onions. We cut the onion into not too thin half rings. Then we send it to the fish, squeezing it a little so that it releases the juice.

3. Now finely chop the garlic and herbs and put them in a mortar. Then add vegetable oil and squeeze the juice of half a lemon for sourness. And we grind all the components with a pestle so that they all “make friends”

4. Now we send the contents of the mortar to the sea carcasses and mix well. Leave for 1 hour. 20 minutes before turning on the oven at 200C degrees so that it warms up to the desired temperature

As you can see, we marinated in three stages - first in spices while cutting the onions, then in the onions and the last stage - a marinade of herbs and garlic in oil with lemon juice.

5. Place whole carcasses on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 15 minutes

If you bake this fish for a long time, the more it will taste like rubber.

With the help of a simple marinade we prepared a dish that was simply incredibly tasty!

Help yourself!

Baked pollock on a vegetable bed of carrots and onions

An incredibly tasty way to cook. Since pollock itself is a dry fish, we will bake it on a bed of vegetables, which will give it juiciness and tenderness. The smell alone in the kitchen can make your head spin!

To prepare you need:

  • Pollock - 3 pcs.
  • Carrots - 300 gr.
  • Onion - 300 gr.
  • Tomatoes - 300 gr.
  • Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. lie
  • Hard cheese - 100 gr.
  • Sour cream -250 gr.
  • Water 150 -250 gr.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - a pinch

Cooking process:

1. We sell pollock frozen, so I defrost the fish before cooking.

2. Cut the onion into small cubes. Three carrots on a coarse grater. Place the frying pan on the stove, add 3 tablespoons of oil and fry the vegetables until they become soft (no need to fry too much).

3. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, then lay out the fried carrots and onions. Next, place our fish, cut into pieces, on a vegetable bed. Previously salted and peppered to taste.

3. Cut the tomatoes into circles and place them between the pollock.

4. In a separate container, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, a glass of water and a teaspoon of salt. Pour the mixture over our fish.

5. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. Then sprinkle grated cheese on top and place in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Then place portions on a plate and serve with your favorite side dish! Dinner turns out amazingly delicious!

How to bake fish with vegetables?

I suggest you prepare a royal dinner and this is no joke! Pollock baked with vegetables and spices turns out incredibly tasty and juicy. The whole family will be delighted and ask for more. Try it, you will definitely like it!

We will need:

Cooking method:

1. Well, I suggest you start conjuring the most delicious dish. Mix salt and thyme in a plate, then sprinkle the fish on each side. This dish requires large pieces. Leave to soak in the spices for 10 minutes.

2. Cut the vegetables. Cut the onion into half rings, sweet pepper and tomato into rings, carrots into large cubes, and cut the celery into long pieces.

3. Prepare the frying. Pour vegetable oil into a heated frying pan, then add onions and peppers. Sauté over medium heat until the onion browns slightly and the pepper becomes softer.

4. Place carrots and celery on the bottom of a baking sheet (in my case, a glass dish), salt and pour a little olive oil. Stir, then lay out two pieces of pollock.

By this time, the fish had already “made friends” with the spices.

6. Next, place the second piece on the grill, pressing it against each other. It turns out something similar to a sandwich.

7. On top of our “sandwich” we place a layer of onion cut into rings, then a layer of tomato and decorate the top with a wheel of sweet pepper.

8. Cover the dish with foil and place in a preheated oven at 220°C. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Then remove the foil and put it in the oven for another 10 minutes.

9. Sprinkle with pre-grated hard cheese. And again we put our fish in the oven for 5 minutes so that the cheese melts properly.

Our royal dinner is ready! And also, you can pleasantly surprise your guests with this dish!

Bon appetit!

How to cook pollock in the oven in foil - a simple recipe

Ingredients for (4 servings):

  • Pollock - 1 kg.
  • Potatoes - 8 pcs.
  • Hard cheese - 200 gr.
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Onion - 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream
  • Spices

Cooking steps:

1. First of all, we need to deal with our marine inhabitants, as you may have guessed, we are talking about our fish. I have it whole, although you can use fillet for this dish, it will also be no less tasty. So, we peel off the husks, get rid of the fins and entrails, and cut into medium-sized pieces. We rinse, let the water drain for a little while and add a little salt.

Important! Be sure to remove the dark film in the abdominal cavity, otherwise it will impart a bitter taste to the finished dish.

2. Now we should do the vegetables. We peel the potatoes and carrots and get rid of the husks from the onions. We rinse the vegetables under running water and place them on a waffle towel to drain off excess water.

Cut the potatoes into rings approximately 0.5 centimeters thick. Cut the onion into thin half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

3. The crucial moment has come - we will collect our food into portions. To do this, spread out a long piece of foil, about 40-50 cm. Lubricate it with vegetable oil so that nothing burns to the foil and we can easily transfer the finished contents to a plate.

Then lay out the potatoes to form a small circle, add salt and pepper. Next, we put the pollock on the potatoes, which had time to salt while we were busy with the vegetables. Pepper the fish.

4. Place a layer of onion on the fish, which will add flavor and juiciness. Then a layer of carrots. Next sprinkle with grated cheese. We get a slide like this, but don’t be alarmed, we will level it later when we form the baskets.

5. Now we need to carefully bend the foil, forming the sides. This will be our basket or plate in which our delicious food will be baked. Instead of a basket, you can make a boat, at your discretion. We slightly press down the contents of the form on top, thereby leveling it.

6. Pour sour cream on top. I thinned the sour cream a little with milk because it was too thick and I wanted a thinner consistency. We try to pour the sauce over all the cheese, otherwise it may burn during baking, but under sour cream it will bake well.

Sour cream can be replaced with mayonnaise, if desired.

7. Place the mold on a baking sheet. I'm making 3 more of these plates since I'm making four servings. All four forms fit on one baking sheet - great! Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 35-40 minutes. The cheese should be well browned.

Important! The baking time for each oven is different, be guided by the “character” of your assistant.

Transfer the finished dish to a plate and serve! Bon appetit!

Juicy pollock with sour cream and cheese

This recipe can be categorized as a quick one. It cooks quickly and turns out incredibly tasty and healthy. However, there is a minus - it is also eaten at the speed of sound. That’s why I cook more, because they will definitely ask for more!

  • Dutch cheese - 170 gr.
  • Sour cream - 3 tbsp. spoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. spoons

1. Prepare the fish immediately. We clean the husks, then the abdominal cavity. Next, cut lengthwise and carefully remove the ridge (I do not remove the skin). Cut into portions, salt and pepper to taste.

2. Grease the baking tray on which we will bake with vegetable oil. Lay out pieces of pollock, coat with sour cream and sprinkle each piece with grated cheese using a large grater.

Baking fish with vegetables in the sleeve - a dietary dish when on a diet

The record place is occupied by pollock, in terms of minimal fat content. This means that it is great for preparing dietary dishes. I propose to prepare our fish according to all the rules of dietary nutrition, namely in a bag with vegetables without vegetable oil. The food turns out incredibly aromatic and juicy. And another plus of the sleeves is that the oven does not splash and a clean baking sheet remains. And it takes a little over 20 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • Pollock fillet - 350 -400 gr.
  • Tomato - 2 pcs.
  • Broccoli - 150 gr.
  • Zucchini - 1 pc. (medium size)
  • Parsley
  • Dill
  • Spices "Provencal herbs"
  • Salt - (if you have edible sea or Himalayan salt)

Cooking technology:

1. We sell pollock only frozen, so before cooking I defrost it naturally at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Most often I bake fillets, but a whole sea fish will also be very tasty.

So, when the fillet is defrosted, sprinkle with spices. I love Provençal herbs, you can use your favorite ones. Then add a little salt.

Lately I have been using table sea salt or pink Himalayan salt as they contain the highest amount of beneficial microelements. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste.

2. Now you need to prepare the vegetables and herbs. Wash and place on a towel to drain excess moisture. Then cut the tomatoes into slices and separate the broccoli into florets. Cut the zucchini into rings, and then cut each ring into 4 parts. Finely chop the greens. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper.

3. Take the sleeve and tie it on one side. Then we place our vegetables in the first layer, making a kind of “pillow”. Place the fillet on top of the vegetables. We tie the sleeve on the other side and pierce it in several places so that it does not burst in the oven during baking. Cover the baking sheet with foil, because if juice leaks out from below, it will start to burn.

Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

4. After time has passed, turn off the oven and let the fish brew a little more, about 15 - 20 minutes. Then remove from the oven, cut the sleeve and transfer the dish to a plate. And we enjoy an incredibly tasty and very healthy food.

Bon appetit!

How to bake pollock with potatoes? (the most delicious recipe)

I often cook dinner using this recipe and the whole family is happy. Even children, who cannot be forced to eat fish, eat such a dish on both cheeks. Try it, you will definitely like it...

We will need:

  • Pollock - 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes - 500 gr.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise - 200 gr.
  • Water - 1/3
  • Seasoning - 1 teaspoon

Cooking process:

1. Prepare the fish. We clean the thawed carcasses from husks and entrails, cut off the tail and fins. Rinse under running water. Place on a paper towel and blot it to remove excess moisture. Cut into pieces.

3. Make a fill. Mix mayonnaise with seasoning, I really like the universal one, and you add your favorite and dilute with water. Mix well.

You can prepare mayonnaise yourself, it is healthy and takes minimal time to prepare, or replace it with low-fat sour cream

4. Turn on the oven to preheat at 220 C. Then grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil, lay out the fish, then put potatoes on it, and then a layer of onions. Fill with mayonnaise filling.

5. Place in the oven to bake for 30-40 minutes. You can cover the top with foil to prevent the top from burning. 15-20 minutes before cooking, remove the foil to allow the dish to brown.

A delicious dinner is ready!

It should be fried so that when stewing the fish does not turn into an incomprehensible mass, but there are neat portioned pieces.

3. Cut the peeled onion into thin half rings, grate the carrots. In a preheated frying pan with a small amount of oil, fry the onion. As soon as it becomes transparent, add carrots to it. Stir and cook together until the carrots are soft. Next, add 2 cups of boiled water and tomato paste to the pan, mix thoroughly and add salt. Add sugar. Add cloves (optional) and bay leaf. Add 1 more glass of water and simmer over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

4. When the gravy is ready, divide it into 2 parts. Place one half on the bottom of the baking dish, then place a layer of fish on top. Next, spread the rest of the gravy (marinade) on it. Cover with foil and place in a preheated oven at 180C for 10 - 15 minutes.

4. Serve the fish warm or chilled. But in my opinion, when it sits in the refrigerator overnight, it becomes especially tasty. Although it is often eaten warm, since the family cannot resist this delicacy.

Pollock in the oven covered with egg and milk (in an omelet)

This recipe is from my childhood, this is how my mother cooked fish. I will not dwell on this recipe in detail, since it is very easy and many people know it.

And if you’re cooking for the first time, watch the video on YouTube; the author explains in detail and concisely how to prepare this tasty and simple dish:

Bon appetit!

Cooking secrets so that pollock is not dry

  • I defrost it naturally, after first removing it from the freezer and placing it in the refrigerator. If you defrost it in water, the fish will gain excess moisture, and if you defrost it in the microwave, the carcasses will be dry.
  • The carcasses should be sprinkled with salt and rubbed so that they are well salted. If you just sprinkle it on top, the taste won’t be as rich.
  • fish baked with vegetables, cheese in sour cream sauce or mayonnaise is more juicy and tender
  • To prevent pollock from being dry, bake it in a sleeve or foil
  • To get rid of the characteristic smell, you can sprinkle the carcass with lemon juice or soak it in milk.

That's it, dear friends, my article has come to its logical conclusion.

That's all for me!

Pollock- an inexpensive and very tasty fish, from which you can prepare many different dishes. The most common way to prepare it is, of course, simply frying it in flour. But besides this, it makes delicious meatballs, pates, and casseroles. Pollock stewed and baked is very tasty. There are several options for baking it. For example, you can bake it with vegetables. Vegetables that go well with tender fish include onion, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, and carrots.

Today I will show you how quickly and tasty you can stew. The dish turns out to be low-calorie, so it can be consumed during those fasts when fish is allowed to be eaten, as well as on fasting days. The average calorie content of a finished dish does not exceed 80-90 kcal. per 100 gr.

Ingredients:

  • Pollock carcass – 1 pc.,
  • Onions – 2 pcs.,
  • Carrots (medium size) – 3 pcs.,
  • Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp. spoons,
  • Spices – 5-10 gr.,
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil (sunflower)

Pollock in the oven with carrots and onions - recipe

The pollock carcass must be used frozen. This makes it easier to prepare and cut into even pieces. First, cut off all the fins. After this, cut the abdomen. Take out the entrails. As a rule, there are not many of them there. Remove the black film on the inner walls of the abdomen. Rinse the fish with cold water inside and out. Dry with napkins. Cut into pieces 5-6 cm wide.

Peel the onions and carrots. Cut the onion into half rings.

Grate the carrots using a Korean carrot grater.

Place the prepared carrots and onions in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

Simmer for 3-4 minutes. The carrots should become soft, but not crispy.

After this, add tomato sauce, salt and spices to the vegetables. Adjust the amount of tomato sauce and spices to your taste. If you want it spicier, add more. Sometimes I add homemade to carrots and onions for spiciness. You can add 1-2 teaspoons.

Stir the vegetables and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Place the pollock pieces in a baking dish. Lightly salt it.

Place carrots and onions on top of the fish. In the event that you cook not one, but 2-3 fish carcasses. Increase the amount of onions and carrots accordingly and layer the fish with vegetables.

Cover the form with a lid; if it is not provided, then simply wrap it in foil. This way the fish will turn out juicy. Put it in the oven. The oven should be preheated to a temperature of 180C. Pollock in the oven with onions and carrots should bake for 20-25 minutes.

Stewed fish in this way goes well with many side dishes, for example, rice, potatoes, buckwheat. The dish is served hot, immediately after preparation, but can also be eaten cold. Once cooled, stewed pollock tastes like canned food in tomato sauce. Using this principle, you can cook not only pollock, but also other sea fish. In addition, it is also possible to use ready-made fish fillets, then the cooking process will be even faster. Bon appetit.
