Tip: to make the roses as beautiful as possible, we advise you to sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Apple filling can be mashed with a blender. Then it will become both homogeneous, and softer, more tender. In such a mass, you can add nuts, candied fruits or slices of dried fruits.

Homemade puff pastry puffs are not only very tasty, they are also easy! They are prepared very quickly and, unfortunately, they end just as quickly, so you can immediately prepare a double portion. This is a great addition to your morning coffee, tea or hot cocoa mug.

Ingredients:

  • 5 medium apples;
  • 1 sheet (200 g) ready-made puff pastry;
  • 1 cup sugar;
  • 4-5 art. spoons of flour;
  • 1 egg.

Cooking:

  1. Prepare the ingredients for the puffs. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and let it warm up to room temperature.
  2. If possible, choose sweet and sour tart apples, but other apples will work too.
  3. Peel the apples and remove the core.
  4. Cut them into slices - 8-10 slices each apple.
  5. Set them aside for now.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
    Cut the pastry sheet into 9 or 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place 4-5 apple slices, a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of flour in the middle of each puff pastry square.
  8. Fold the opposite ends of the square of dough over the apples and fasten them well (you should get a kind of "envelope" with apples).
  9. Place the puffs on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper and brushed with oil.
  10. Whisk an egg in a bowl with a fork.
    Using a pastry brush, brush all the puffs with the beaten egg and sprinkle them with a little sugar.
  11. Bake apple puffs at 200°C for approximately 15 minutes (or until golden brown).
  12. Remove them from the oven and cool on a wire rack.

  2. We put the layers of dough without packaging on a floured board, sprinkle the dough on top with flour and, covering with a towel, leave to defrost for 30 minutes.
  3. If you do not have ready-made filling, then while the dough is defrosting, peel fresh apples, cut them into cubes and mix with sugar. Let them stand in a sealed container for 15 minutes.
  4. When the dough becomes plastic, slightly roll out the layer in one direction so as not to disturb the structure of the dough. Cut each layer into squares.
  5. On each square, at a distance of about 1 cm from the edge, we make cuts in the form of two corners so that they do not connect to each other (as in the photo).
  6. We bend one corner of the dough to the opposite.
  7. Then we also bend the second corner.
  8. Put the filling in the center.
  9. You can make puffs much easier. Place a filling in the center of each square.
  10. We bend the opposite corners to the center and glue them together.
  11. Then we also glue the other opposite corners.
  12. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone baking mat. We spread the finished puffs on it.
  13. To give the puffs an appetizing color, brush them with a lightly beaten egg before baking.
  14. We put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until golden brown (about 20-30 minutes).

To prepare puffs with apples from ready-made puff pastry, I used:

  • puff pastry pack (500 g)
  • 8 medium-sized apples (there are more in the photo, do not pay attention)
  • one egg
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

How to cook:

  1. We peel the apples, cut them into halves and remove the cores.
  2. The dough should be defrosted by now.
  3. Alternately roll out each layer of dough with a rolling pin to half of its original thickness. It is desirable that even squares are obtained. Then cut each square into two rectangles. On the edge of each put half an apple and a little sugar.
  4. Then we fasten the edges of the pie around the entire perimeter. Similarly, we “sculpt” the remaining puffs and transfer them to a baking sheet.
  5. Whisk the egg with a fork. With the help of a culinary brush, grease the surface of the puffs and sprinkle them with the remaining sugar. We send puffs with apples to the oven (preheated to 200 degrees) and bake them for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow the puffs to cool slightly and then transfer to a plate. Puff pastry apple puffs can be stored for 3-4 days in a sealed plastic bag to help prevent the pastry from drying out.   3. In other rectangles, make cuts, cover them with apples, blind from all sides.

  • 6 art. l. rast. oils
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 yolk

How to make apple puffs:

  1. The necessary ingredients are in front of you in the photo, and it is better to accurately measure everything in advance.
  2. Knead the curd dough. To do this, put in a bowl 150 g of cottage cheese, 1 egg and 75 g of sugar. We grind everything with a fork.
  3. In the resulting mass, add 6 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
  4. Beat the mass until smooth with a blender.
  5. Mix dry ingredients (250 g flour, 2 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt) with a whisk.
  6. Pour the dry mixture into the liquid ingredients and knead the dough. If the egg is not very large, you may need less flour. Those. it is better to add the last part of the flour gradually. The dough should be quite tight, but easy to assemble into one ball.
  7. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest for 20 minutes. At this time we are preparing apples. They must be cut into 4 parts, peeled and cut into slices. Add 1 tbsp to apple bowl. l. vanilla sugar and 0.5 tsp. cinnamon.
  8. We divide the dough into two parts. We roll each of them into a circle, cut off the excess. We cut the circle into 8 sectors, and cut each sector as shown in the photo.
  9. We spread the slices of apples along the wide edge and wrap them with the cut part.
  10. We do the same with the second part of the test. We spread the blanks on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Lubricate each puff with yolk mixed with 1 tbsp. l. milk, and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  11. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
  12. Ready-made puffs with apples are very tasty both hot and cold.

Apple pie is one of our family's favorites. Simple, always tasty, and budget-friendly, as a rule. Today we will cook puffs with apples, raisins and cinnamon from ready-made puff yeast-free dough.

From the same dough, I prepare beautiful and tasty chamomile puffs with canned pineapple rings, the recipe for their preparation is even simpler and faster. With today's apple puffs, you will have to tinker a bit, but the result is worth it.

Ingredients: (for 8 puffs)

  • 1 package (500 g) yeast-free puff pastry
  • 650 g sweet and sour apples
  • 50 g raisins
  • 30 g butter
  • 3 art. l. sugar + 10 g vanilla sugar
  • 1 st. l. lemon juice
  • 1/3 tsp cinnamon

If you do not like raisins, then take 700 g of apples for the filling.

Cut open the puff pastry and leave to defrost at room temperature. You can cover it with a film or a bag on top so that it does not wind. While we prepare the filling, the dough will just defrost.

We sort out the raisins and pour hot water from the kettle so that it steams a little.

I cook a very tasty filling for puffs with apples according to the same principle as for pancakes with apples and cinnamon. and for apple pie with sour cream shortcrust pastry. For the filling, I buy green sweet and sour apples such as Golden, Granny Smith or Semerenko with dense, crispy flesh. Pieces of apples of these varieties retain their shape well during heat treatment and do not boil soft in mashed potatoes.
We clean the apples from the skin and seeds and cut into small cubes. Add 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice and stir.

Melt the butter in a frying pan and add the chopped apples. Sprinkle 3 tbsp on top. l. sugar and a bag (10 g) of vanilla sugar. Instead of vanilla sugar, you can add vanillin at the tip of a teaspoon.

Keep the pan on a fairly high heat, stirring the contents all the time. First, the sugar will begin to melt and the apples will start to juice, quite a lot of syrup will form. We stir the apples constantly until the liquid evaporates so that they are evenly saturated with syrup and do not burn. It is advisable to do this with a silicone spatula, gently turning the pieces of apples and trying not to injure them.
When there is almost no liquid left, and this is not very long, add cinnamon and raisins, after draining the water from it.

We stir the filling for some more time until there is no liquid left at all, and as a result we get such a delicious filling for puffs:

Set the pan aside to cool. Now you can turn on the oven so that it heats up to 200-220 degrees.
By this time, the puff pastry has already defrosted. We will work with one sheet, and leave the second under the film for now.
Sprinkle the table lightly with flour and cut the sheet of dough into 4 parts.

We start making puffs. There are two options here. If you cook, as they say, in haste, then you can not roll out the dough at all, but do it like this. First, put a full tablespoon of filling on a square of dough and connect the opposite corners. So that the corners do not stick out, you need to slightly moisten them with water.

Then connect the remaining two corners, try to glue them more securely. Pinch the corners of the puff with your fingers so that the filling does not leak out.

I took these two photos last time when I baked puffs just like that, in a quick way.
But if you have the time, try to make beautiful braided puffs, it's quite simple.
We thinly roll out a square of dough to a size of about 15 * 17 cm. Visually divide it into 3 parts and make cuts along the edges to make 8-9 strips.

We spread the apple filling in the middle and begin to weave a pigtail from dough strips.

The remaining ends are folded down.

We spread the pigtails on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

We put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the puffs until golden brown. It is difficult to say the exact time, since all ovens behave differently. My baking process took 35 minutes, you can have more or less.
If your oven bakes unevenly and the pastry usually burns, then after 15 minutes after the start of baking, place a flat container of water on the bottom of the oven.

The result may not be too pleasant as, for example, I personally am famous, but it still turns out delicious.

And the choice of recipes is huge, and, it would seem, the same apples, and the result is completely different, but invariably fragrant and appetizing.

Today, a recipe for puff pastry apple puffs with a photo. It is from the "in haste" series because puffs are prepared from ready-made purchased puff pastry. Of course, you can also make puff pastry yourself, but it is not done so quickly, but the one that is now sold in stores is very worthy and tasty.

For me, such a dough is a kind of lifesaver - even if you just defrost it, cut it into small strips and sprinkle it with sugar and send it to the oven, after 15 minutes we get delicious pastries for tea. In general, a lot of different tasty treats can be prepared from such a dough. I even have several cookbooks with puff pastry, sweet and savory recipes.

But today's recipe for puffs is not from these books, but from the vast expanses of the Internet, in my opinion from say7. The introduction turned out to be longer than the recipe itself)) Let's cook.

  • Apples - 500 grams (I took less)

How to cook

Filling. Cut apples into small cubes, fry in butter until soft.

Defrost the dough, roll out, cut into equal rectangles. Put the filling on one half, cover with the second half, press the edges. Put on a baking sheet, bake until slightly golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.

Puff pastry is yeast and yeast-free. Since I cooked puffs for two days in a row)) I tried both and immediately compared.

I liked yeast better. Yeasted, it is heavier and richer, and goes better with light fillings, such as in this recipe, but yeast-free, in my opinion, will be better with richer, “fatty” fillers.

We take the dough out of the freezer 15-20 minutes before cooking, separate the layers, lay them out on a lightly floured surface.

When they become relatively soft, roll out in turn.

If you cook just puffs without filling, then you don’t even need to roll them out - just cut them and bake.

But I forgot to write about the filling)) ... It is advisable to cook it in advance so that it cools down.

I took about half a kilo of apples according to the recipe, but it seemed to me a lot, maybe I needed to put more stuffing ...

Remove seeds and cut into small cubes.

Melt the butter in a frying pan, this was not in the recipe, but it seemed to me tastier with butter. We spread the apples in a pan, add a little water, washed raisins and honey. Honey was also missing, this time I replaced it with sugar, it turned out delicious.

Simmer for 5-7 minutes. Cool down. (I don’t have step-by-step photos because I had the filling from the first time, and the first time I didn’t take pictures, I didn’t know if it would turn out delicious))).

We spread the apple filling on a rectangle of puff pastry, cover with a second rectangle and pinch the edges.

For beauty and more "grip" we go through the edges with a fork.

Preheat the oven ahead of time.

Grease the baking sheet, as usual, with butter, lay out the puffs.

They are prepared for 15-20 minutes, at a temperature of about 180 degrees, but I was more guided by their color. They should be this light golden color.

Puff pastry is a real godsend for a working mom: with its help, you can save a huge amount of time, which is constantly lacking! Indeed, from such a dough, you can quickly and easily prepare hearty snacks, and pies with a wide variety of fillings as a second course, and, of course, desserts - beautiful and very delicate puffs.

It is about the latter that I want to tell you today in more detail. As you understand, jam, curd mass, and, of course, berries and fruits can act as a filling for sweet puffs. One of my favorite options is apples: puff pastry apple puffs come out delicious! The recipe for puff pastry puffs with apples is simple and unpretentious, and always helps me out when I need to quickly prepare something for tea. And you get puffs with apples from ready-made puff pastry always the first time, the main thing is to buy a successful puff pastry.

Ingredients for 13-15 puffs:

  • 0.5 kg of ready-made puff yeast-free dough;
  • 3-4 large apples;
  • 6-7 tablespoons of sugar;
  • 0.5-1 tablespoon of lemon juice;
  • 3-4 tablespoons of powdered sugar - for sprinkling.

How to make apple puffs:

First, defrost the dough (it is sold only frozen). We do this at room temperature, without heating it additionally. If the dough is folded into a roll, then we unfold it only after complete defrosting (otherwise, the dough will crack at the folds, which will create inconvenience and difficulties when marking the puffs).

My apples, peel and core. Cut into small cubes (about 0.5-0.7 cm). Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and mix gently (this way we protect the apples from browning).

Cut the dough into rectangles. Try to keep them the same size - then the finished puffs will turn out to be similar to each other (and, therefore, they will look very appetizing and neat). The exact dimensions of the rectangle are not of fundamental importance. I made them about 8x12 cm in size.

On each rectangle, we make 2 cuts along the long edges, not reaching the end of the test by about 0.5 - 1 cm.

We spread apples on each puff blank - with a layer of 0.5-1 cm, along the entire length, a little before reaching the edge. Put sugar on top of the apples.

Now we lift the thin incised sections up, attach each middle of the cut section to the middle of the opposite side of the main part of the dough. We try to attach securely so that during baking these parts do not move away from the base of the puffs.

We lay out the puffs on a silicone mat (or on parchment for baking) at a slight distance from each other.

Bake in an oven preheated to 230 degrees for 15 minutes (the time may vary slightly depending on the characteristics of the oven). When baking, a little stuffing, melted, may leak out. We're just clearing those areas. Remove the finished puffs from the baking sheet and put them on a plate or wire rack to cool.

When the puffs are completely cool, they can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
