Wash it. Place in a bowl or pan. Fill with cold water and leave for 2-3 hours. The cucumbers will be saturated with moisture, and the salad will have a crunch.

Place the chopped cucumbers in a saucepan or bowl. Peel the onions, wash and cut them into halves of rings. Small onions can be cut lengthwise into half rings.

Wash and finely chop the dill.

Add dill and onion to cucumbers.

Add kitchen salt (rock salt) and ground black peppercorns. After this, stir the salad again.

Someone can diversify this composition to their taste, but today we will cook according to the classic recipe. Ingredients

  • Cucumbers – 2.5 kg;
  • Onions – 0.5 kg;
  • Fresh dill – 1 bunch;
  • Salt – 1 tbsp;
  • Sugar – 2.5 tbsp;
  • Ground pepper – 0.5 tsp;
  • Table vinegar (9%) – 50 ml.

Preparation

Wash the cucumbers under cold water and dry a little. Cut off the ends on both sides, then cut the cucumbers into two halves and cut into half rings. If the cucumbers are large, then cut them into quarters. It is better not to use very overripe cucumbers; they have a thick peel and will have to be cut off, in which case the cucumbers will no longer be crispy, and the beauty of this salad is in the crispy cucumbers!

We remove the husks from the bulbs and cut them into thin half rings.

Combine chopped cucumbers and onions in one bowl, add salt and sugar to them. Mix everything thoroughly and leave for 1-1.5 hours. During this time, the cucumbers should release a lot of juice. If you don’t wait the allotted time, then later you simply won’t have enough marinade to cover the salad jars to the very top.

Rinse the dill under water, shake to remove excess liquid and finely chop with a knife. Together with ground black pepper and table vinegar, add to the cucumbers when they are already steeped. In many recipes, ground pepper is replaced with peppercorns; it gives more flavor and spiciness. If you don’t mind that peas can get caught while eating, then ground pepper can be replaced.

Place the saucepan with the salad over medium heat and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. We need all the cucumbers to change their color almost simultaneously, otherwise some of the cucumbers will be overcooked and become soft.

Jars and lids must be prepared in advance - washed and sterilized. Since the specified amount of products produces about three liters of ready-made salad, we calculate the number of cans accordingly. As soon as the cucumbers change color, place the salad in dry jars to the very top. The marinade should completely cover the cucumbers, so first lay out the mixture of onions and cucumbers, and pour the marinade on top.

Immediately cover the salad and roll it up with a key. We turn the jars upside down and cover them with a blanket so that they cool more slowly and thereby continue the sterilization process.   • If the cucumbers have been in the refrigerator for some time and become limp, then before using them for the salad, soak the cucumbers in ice water for 1-2 hours;

Preparation:

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly. If you come across slightly wilted fruits, soak them in cold water for several hours. This procedure will restore the juiciness of the vegetables. Free each cucumber from the tails, and then cut into circles, about 6-7 mm thick.

Peel the onions and rinse. Chop the ingredient into thin half rings.

The carrots should also be peeled, washed and chopped. For these purposes, use a coarse grater. If you have a device for vegetables in Korean, then chop the carrots with it - this will give the salad a more elegant look.

  • Meaty bell pepper – 400 g;
  • Vegetable oil – 200 ml;
  • Fresh cucumbers – 2 kg;
  • Dill - a large bunch;
  • Chili pepper – 1 pod;
  • Onions – 400 g;
  • Salt – 1 tbsp;
  • Table vinegar – 4 tbsp;
  • Granulated sugar – 2 tbsp.

Preparation:

You should start creating a tasty preparation by soaking the cucumbers. Literally one hour is enough for vegetables to become more juicy and crunchy. If you collected cucumbers from the garden immediately before cooking, you can skip this step.

While the cucumbers are taking a bath, prepare the remaining ingredients. Peel the onion, wash it, and then chop it into thin half rings or chop it into small cubes.

  • Wash, dry fresh dill, chop it finely.
  • Mix cucumber slices with onion half rings and chopped dill. Pour oil and vinegar over the vegetables, salt and pepper, add sugar. Mix everything thoroughly, cover and leave for half an hour.
