  6. Now comes the stage of “constructing” the salad: place the prepared tasty ingredients in a transparent salad bowl in layers, adding a little mayonnaise to each layer. The order is as follows: potatoes, canned fish, followed by onions. In the middle of the dish there will be melted cheese, on top of it - carrots, which need to be coated well with mayonnaise.   • Potatoes – 1-2 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Smoked chicken fillet – 250 gr.
  • White onion – 1 pc.

  1. The first stage is preparing potatoes and eggs, boil vegetables for 30-35 minutes, eggs for 10 minutes.
  2. While the cooking process is underway, you need to marinate the onions. Peel it, rinse it using a sharp knife, and chop it. Place the onion in a small bowl, sprinkle with ¼ tsp sugar. sugar, 1-2 tbsp. l. vinegar and ½ tbsp. hot water, leave for a while.
  3. Chop the potatoes, grate the whites separately from the yolks, you can simply mash them.
  4. Cut the chicken fillet across the grain, also quite finely. Freeze the cheeses and grate them.
  5. Start “assembling” the deliciousness, greasing the layers with mayonnaise. The first layer is smoked chicken, which will give the dish a spicy taste. Sprinkle the chicken with squeezed pickled onions, then in this order, potatoes - yolks - cheese. The top layer is beautifully grated protein, a little mayonnaise. Add a drop of greenery.

The finished salad must cool and soak, so the tasting will have to be scheduled after 2 hours (minimum). You won’t have to invite anyone to the table; your household will already be sitting with large plates.

Salad with melted cheese and carrots

This recipe is sometimes called “Soviet” because the ingredients included in the salad have never been refrigerated. In those days, hard cheese was saved for the holidays, and processed cheese, which was much cheaper, was consumed ready-made or made into everyday salads.
