Ingredients

  • tartlets - 10 pcs.;
  • chicken fillet - 100 g;
  • champignons - 100 g;
  • onions - 1 pc.;
  • egg yolks - 2 pcs.;
  • salt - 1 chip;
  • mayonnaise - 1.5 tbsp. l.;
  • hard cheese - 100 g;
  • green onions - 2-3 arrows;
  • dill - 3-4 sprigs;
  • vegetable oil for frying mushrooms - 0.5 tbsp. l.;

How to prepare a New Year's appetizer in “Yolochki” tartlets

Boil the chicken fillet in salted water and cut into large cubes. Fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil along with finely chopped onions. We combine chicken and mushrooms, add chopped yolks and a little green onions, which will make the taste of the snack more expressive.

Mix all the listed ingredients, add salt to taste and fill the tartlets with the resulting filling.

Lubricate the tartlets with chicken and mushrooms on top with mayonnaise - 0.5 teaspoon is enough to completely cover the filling. After some time, the mayonnaise sauce will soak up the chicken and mushrooms, keeping the tartlets crispy.

Decorate the dish with finely chopped dill, distributing it evenly over the surface of all tartlets.

We cut the hard cheese into slices (not very thin so that the trees keep their shape well), and then using a sharp knife, carefully cut out the Christmas trees. To simplify the task, you can use a paper stencil - then all the forest beauties will turn out to be the same shape and size.

Place the cheese trees in the center of the tartlets.

We serve the finished appetizer immediately after preparation or store it in the refrigerator until the festive feast.

As you can see, the festive snack in “Herringbone” tartlets is very easy to prepare - an entire “spruce forest” can be assembled in just 5 minutes. At the same time, you can use other ingredients as a filling: smoked chicken or ham is perfect for fried mushrooms, you can add nuts. The main thing is that the products should be non-watery and non-greasy so that the tartlets retain their shape for as long as possible.

Light snacks are an invariable attribute of any holiday table. They perform several functions at once: they provide you with a snack when drinking strong drinks, they brighten up the waiting time for the main courses, they can be used to feed children running up for something tasty.

Well, and most importantly, they, along with New Year’s salads, make the holiday table rich and varied. This does not require large expenses.

There are many ways to prepare snacks: sandwiches, tartlets, canapés,...

For this article, I want to invite you to try my favorite pop tart snacks that are guaranteed to be a hit.

New Year's snacks in puff pastry tartlets

Tartlets are a very convenient way to prepare light snacks. They come in different shapes and sizes. At the same time, they do not soften like, for example, pita bread and they can be prepared in advance without fear that they will fall apart.

You can buy them at the store, or you can make them yourself.

How to make tartlets at home

If you're a fan of everything homemade, you can make your own tartlets. It's not difficult at all.

1. Defrost the purchased puff pastry dough and roll it out to a thickness of a couple of millimeters.

One plate of dough weighing 250 g is enough to make 12-15 tartlets, depending on the size of the molds

2. Using a regular mug, cut the dough into rings.

3. Place the circles in the muffin tin.

4. Place a piece of baking paper on top and pour peas or beans inside so that the bottom of the tartlet does not swell.

Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

How to make tartlets without molds

If you don't have suitable sized baking pans on hand, you have two options to choose from.

First: making your own baking molds from foil. From the photo below you can see that they are easy to make using a regular plastic cup.

The second method is for those who find this method too time-consuming.

You simply cut the dough into squares of the appropriate size and connect the top and bottom ends of the dough pieces together, creating a "boat"

In the free space, just as in the previous method, put baking paper and pour peas or beans inside, and after baking, remove the paper, freeing up space for the filling.

Well, now that we have learned how to cook tartlets, let’s see how to prepare something new and interesting for the coming year of the dog.

Cold appetizer with red and black caviar and lemon

A very tasty appetizer, but, to be honest, when preparing it, I put less caviar than shown in the photo, since in terms of money, such an appetizer becomes quite expensive. On the other hand, if you use artificial caviar, you can apply it in tablespoons at once. Just kidding, of course.

Caviar only adds flavor and you don’t need to put too much of it: 5-8 caviar in each tartlet is enough

Used in preparation:

  • cream cheese
  • fresh cucumber
  • lemon
  • caviar black or red

The preparation itself is very simple:

  1. Coat the bottom of the tartlet with cream cheese
  2. Place caviar on top
  3. Decorate with a slice of cucumber, cut to the middle
  4. Add a slice of lemon

Tartlets with red fish and curd cheese

Another “fish” option is tartlets with red fish. Very tasty, make a lot of them because they will fly apart first.

Both curd and cream cheese invariably add a special delicate and light taste to any seafood

To prepare you need:

  • lightly salted red fish
  • greens (parsley, dill)
  • curd cheese

Preparation:

  1. Finely chop the greens and mix with cheese
  2. Place the resulting mixture in a tarball.

3. Place a piece of fish rolled into a tube on top and decorate with herbs

New Year's appetizer with pomegranate and carrots

A truly bright appetizer is perfect for the New Year's table, without requiring any culinary skills from you.

Ingredients:

  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Raw carrots
  • Garlic
  • Sour cream and mayonnaise mixed in a 1:1 ratio
  • If desired, you can also add hard cheese

Preparation:

  1. Grate carrots and garlic on a fine grater
  2. Mix them with mayonnaise and sour cream

3. If desired, you can add grated cheese

4. Place the resulting sauce in a tartlet

5. Decorate with pomegranate seeds

You will have to choose the proportions of carrots and garlic yourself, because... Everyone has varying degrees of love for garlic. I recommend mixing the carrots with the sauce first, and then start adding garlic and tasting until you get the proportion that suits you.

Recipe for a simple and tasty snack with smoked sausage and cheese

This appetizer may not have the most original filling and appearance, but for some reason it is always one of the first to end. Children especially love them because they look like mini pizzas.

To prepare, take:

  • Smoked sausage
  • Hard cheese
  • Ketchup
  • Onions

The cooking process is incredibly simple:

  1. Grease the bottom of the tartlet with ketchup.
  2. Sequentially add finely chopped onion, sausage and cheese.

3. Place the tartlets in the microwave at maximum power for 3-5 minutes to melt the cheese.

Winter salad with sausage and corn in tartlets

And this is an option for serving the classic Winter salad in an unusual form.

To prepare the filling, first of all you need to prepare the salad.

For this we need:

  • Boiled potatoes
  • Fresh or pickled cucumbers
  • Smoked and boiled sausage
  • Boiled eggs
  • Canned peas

For refueling:

  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Green

Preparation:

  1. Finely chop all ingredients and combine in one bowl.

I can’t give a clear amount of each ingredient, because... You always need a different amount of salad depending on the number of tartlets.

The salad ingredients themselves are mixed in a 1:1 ratio.

2. Prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise and sour cream in a 1:1 ratio and adding finely chopped herbs to it.

If you use fresh cucumbers, it is advisable to add some salt to the dressing. And if the cucumbers are pickled, then salting is not necessary.

3. Add the sauce to the rest of the ingredients, stir everything thoroughly and place on tartlets.

Recipe for fish filling made from cod liver

I have always loved canned cod liver for its delicious flavor and tender texture. The liver is perfect as a filling for snack tartlets.

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • Tartlets – 12 pcs.
  • Cod liver - 1 jar
  • Boiled eggs – 2 pcs
  • Pickled cucumbers – 100 g
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Dill, parsley
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp

Preparation:

  1. Mash the cod liver with a fork until smooth.

2. Finely chop the onion and squeeze 2 tablespoons of lemon into it (this is very convenient to do through a strainer so as not to drop the seeds). Leave the onion to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

3. Cut the pickled onions into small cubes, grate the eggs on a coarse grater. Place everything in a bowl with the liver, add pickled onions and finely chopped herbs. Season with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.

There is no need to salt the resulting filling.

4. The filling is ready, all that remains is to spread it among the tartlets.

Crab stick appetizer filling

And again the nautical theme. Although I hope you understand that sea crab sticks are only in name. However, the filling is delicious, quick and easy.

Ingredients:

  • Crab sticks
  • Canned corn
  • Boiled rice
  • Fresh cucumbers
  • Mayonnaise

Preparation:

  1. Cut the crab sticks and cucumber into small cubes and combine in one bowl. You can remove the peel from the cucumber if it is tough.

2. We also send canned corn there.

3. And boiled rice.

Don’t try to keep track of the ingredients exactly, just make sure there are approximately the same amount of ingredients.

4. Add mayonnaise, salt to taste and mix.

5. Place the finished filling into tartlets.

Tartlets with shrimp and cheese

Well, there’s another seafood appetizer option that can’t go unnoticed—shrimp tartlets.

Ingredients for 20 tartlets:

  • 20 shrimp
  • 100 g hard cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 boiled eggs
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Preparation:

  1. Peel the shrimp and fry in a frying pan with garlic and olive oil.

First, heat the oil in a frying pan, then add 1 clove of garlic, pressed in a garlic press. Fry it for just a couple of minutes, stirring constantly.

When the garlic begins to turn brown, it will mean that it has already lost its flavor and it’s time to add the shrimp.

Fry the shrimp for two minutes, stirring constantly. At the end add a pinch of salt.

2. Finely chop the egg with a knife or egg slicer. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Combine them in one bowl, add mayonnaise and mix.

3. Fill the tartlets with the resulting mixture and place the shrimp on top. Ready!

How to make a smoked chicken appetizer

Let's step away from seafood for a while and take on land animals. Here's a wonderful smoked chicken filling.

Ingredients:

  • 1 smoked leg
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 carrot
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 processed cheese
  • greens (dill, parsley)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
  • Ground black pepper - to taste

Preparation:

  1. Pass the carrots through a fine grater. Finely chop the bell pepper. Place the vegetables in a heated frying pan with vegetable oil and fry for 5 minutes. Then add the garlic squeezed out with a garlic press and fry for another 1 minute, stirring constantly.

2. When the vegetables have cooled, add finely chopped herbs, finely chopped chicken and processed cheese cut into small pieces.

To ensure that the processed cheese cuts well and does not “stretch” behind the knife, before cutting, put it in the freezer for 20 minutes

3. Add mustard, mayonnaise and soy sauce to the filling. Mix everything thoroughly.

4. Fill the tartlets with the finished filling. There is enough filling for 12-15 standard size tartlets.

Tartlets with mushrooms and tuna

Before this, all the appetizers were cold, but this one is baked and served warm.

Ingredients:

  • Canned tuna – 100 gr
  • Champignons - 100 g (mushrooms must first be fried)
  • Boiled egg - 1 pc.
  • Cheese - 60 gr
  • Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
  • Greens (dill, green onions)
  • Mayonnaise - 60 gr

Preparation:

  1. In one salad bowl we combine canned tuna, finely chopped mushrooms, finely chopped egg, chopped green onions and coarsely grated cheese. Then add mailnes and mix.

2. Grease the bottom of the tartlets with tomato paste and fill them with filling.

3. Place the tartlets in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 12 minutes.

This recipe allows you to serve the appetizer hot, placing it in the oven shortly before serving it on the holiday table.

Holiday snack for children with nuts and caramel

It’s also not difficult to prepare a wonderful, tasty snack for the little ones. The main thing is not to waste time and prepare more, because it will end very quickly.

Ingredients:

  • 25-30 mini tartlets
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (any you like)
  • 30 g butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 orange
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. To make caramel, first melt the butter in the microwave. Then break the egg into the same bowl and beat with a whisk until the mixture is homogeneous. Then you need to add brown sugar and beat again.

2. Add chopped nuts and orange slices, cut into small pieces, to the resulting mixture. Mix everything again with a spoon.

3. Fill the tartlets with nut-caramel paste and place them in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

4. When the tartlets are baked, let them cool and place them on a serving plate.

Serve only when cooled; it’s easy to burn yourself with caramel.

These are so many of my favorite recipes. Of course, I never cook them all at the same time. 2-3 options are always enough, because there are many other dishes on the festive table.

I hope the article was useful to you and you found something interesting for yourself.

Thank you for your attention.

Tartlets are an excellent solution for a festive table. This is an appetizer that will help diversify the range of dishes and help out when you are short on time. The most tender salmon fillet, red caviar or simply julienne - almost any filling can be used for them.

How to choose tartlets in a store or bake yourself

Ready-made tartlets are a suitable option for housewives who are sorely short of time. By purchasing a pack of small baskets in reserve, you can prepare a delicious dish at any time when guests are arriving. For the New Year 2019 they will take a worthy place on the festive table.

Such baskets are baked from different doughs: shortbread, waffle, puff pastry. The choice depends on the filling and taste. Shortbread tartlets are suitable for salads, whipped cream, fruits and berries, as they do not get soggy and hold their shape for a long time. Puff pastry also does not deform, having a thick bottom. In addition, it contains fewer calories than shortbread. As for waffle baskets, they tend to get soggy quickly, so they are more suitable for filling with dry fillings.

Note! When purchasing ready-made tartlets, you should pay attention to the expiration date. Since in most cases it does not exceed 3 months, do not stock up if you do not plan to cook in the near future.

For those who value quality and are not short of time, it is better to make tartlets yourself.

    1. Type of dish: appetizer.
    1. Weight – 200 g.
    1. The country of the dish is France.

To bake shortcrust pastry tartlets, just use the following ingredients:

  • flour – 1 glass;
  • chicken egg yolks – 2 pcs.;
  • butter – 100 g;
  • ice water – 0.5 cups;
  • salt - half a teaspoon.
    1. Dry ingredients are mixed first
    1. Then softened butter is added, the yolks are carefully introduced, and water is poured in.
    1. The dough is kneaded and placed in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  1. Then it is baked in molds for about 25 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.

For puff pastry you will need the following:

    • flour – 1 glass;
    • butter – 90 g;
  • ice water - 1.5 tbsp. l.

First, flour is poured onto the work table, and then chopped butter is laid out on top. After this, water is poured in and the dough is kneaded. When it has stood in the cold for an hour, you can form the baskets and bake them.

The following ingredients are used for choux pastry:

    • flour – 1 glass;
    • butter – 100 g;
  • chicken eggs – 4 pcs.

Water is poured into a tall container and brought to a boil. Oil is added to it, the resulting mass is lightly salted. In just a few minutes, the flour is quickly poured in. Don't forget to stir constantly, otherwise the dough will burn. Over low heat, the mass is boiled until a slightly dried consistency is obtained, after which the eggs are added one at a time. Once the dough has cooled, you can form balls and bake. To fill them later, you will have to make a hole.

There are few types of tartlets; as a rule, they are made from shortbread, unleavened or puff pastry, either homemade or purchased. The main rule is the filling. When looking through filled tartlets, recipes with photos of which are often published, pay attention - the juicier the minced meat, the thicker the basket. Now we’ll find out how to make tartlets in your kitchen. So, a recipe for tartlets at home, what you need for classic baskets:

  • 2 tbsp. flour;
