Soy sauce has a lot of salt, so I don't think it's healthier than sunflower oil. Frying food is harmful to the liver and stomach. I recently learned a new way of cooking meat in the oven using the grill. I put the meat on the grate, put a baking sheet with water down and turn on the grill. It turns out delicious and without oil.

In general, the harm comes not so much from the oil itself, but from the substances resulting from frying. Please note: if you fry in oil, there will be a dark brown crust, and if without (on a non-stick coating), then nothing like that, just a slightly browned dish. So if you use soy sauce, you're just cutting calories.

Interesting idea, I agree with you. For some time now I have been frying without oil, in a dry frying pan or adding a little water. It's actually better to bake. I didn’t know that you can fry in soy sauce. You should definitely try.

When heated, the oil releases carcinogens, so you should not use it in frying. But in order to notice improvements in health, it is necessary to completely abandon fried and boiled foods. Because such food is destroyed by fire and temperature and is not properly absorbed by the body.

it is desirable to fry in vegetable oil, especially scrambled eggs. Cholesterol in the body should be normal, but its absence also does not bode well. In short, everything should be in moderation.

I gave up on oil frying and oil in general a long time ago. There is already a large amount of fat in food, and adding calories to frying in oil is certainly not for me. I fry in a dry frying pan.

If I fry something, then I do it either without oil at all or with a drop of olive oil. By the way, I fried it a couple of times in soy sauce, it turned out tasty and unusual. I don't understand people who fry in a liter of oil.

I usually fry with a drop of oil. And so I add water, and nothing burns on me. And a lot of oil is harmful for the figure and for the body as a whole. And yes, it is very high in calories. Sometimes I dry fry.

A frying pan that can be fried without oil

Some housewives seriously think about buying a non-stick pan. On it you can fry meat without oil, make pancakes and stew vegetables without worrying that the food will not be scraped off from the bottom of the kitchen appliance. What types of such pans exist?

  1. Teflon. It is rightfully often called dishes for a healthy diet. The coating of this pan should not be damaged, otherwise the expected effect will not occur and the food will burn.
  2. Ceramic. On it you can fry without oil only products containing fats. This does not mean that everything else will stick to its walls. It's just that meat and vegetables will not have a golden crust.
  3. Grill. This frying pan is mainly made of cast iron. The food on it is evenly heated, and due to the fact that moisture does not leave from there, the meat turns out to be juicy and with a crispy crust.

We are used to the fact that if something is fried in a pan, oil is always used. However, in the case of a piece of meat or a steak, oil can only do harm. Today we share the secrets of frying in a pan or in the oven without oil. Believe me - it will turn out insanely delicious!

Prepare the meat

Marinate the steak with your favorite seasonings or use a combination of garlic powder, onions, dried herbs and spices. Marinate the steak for several hours, or even overnight, which will make the piece of meat more moist and suitable for frying. Take the steak out of the fridge at least half an hour before cooking and let it come to room temperature.

You don't need oil

If you don't have oil, you can make do with the lard found in a piece of meat as a pan grease. To do this, start frying a piece from the side on which more fat is concentrated. The lard will melt very quickly, after which you can begin to turn the steak over and fry it as usual.

Grill and pan without oil

The grill itself does not provide for the use of lubrication during cooking, but in practice it turns out that the products can firmly stick to the grate so that they can only be torn off by turning them into a mess. To prevent this from happening, you need to follow a simple technique for determining the temperature of the grill and frying food. First, you need to be able to determine the optimal grill temperature. The easiest method is to hold your open palm at a height of 10 centimeters from the surface of the grate. If you are not able to hold your hand for two seconds, the heat is enough. Secondly, it is important to put a piece of meat on the grate so that it does not stick to it tightly. To do this, it will be enough to slow down the steak with tongs for 20 seconds after the start of frying.

In the case of using a conventional frying pan and stove, it is even easier. The pan is heated to maximum temperature, and the meat is thrown directly at it. Fry each side for 2 minutes if using a standard size piece. The first side is fried at maximum heat, and on the second side the heat is reduced by a third. If you need to bring the meat a little longer - you can do one more turn of meat - one minute each. In this case, the heat can be further reduced by 10 percent. After frying, the meat must be allowed to rest in foil - this takes 4-5 minutes.

Steak in the oven

There's an unbelievable rumor among restaurant chefs that many cooks pan-fry a steak and then put it in the oven for a short time to kill disease-causing bacteria with bulky heat. This method also does not require oil, but we do not advise you to cook meat with blood on your own without special thermometers and a certain skill.

Food fried in oil is not only very high in calories, but also dangerous to health, because it contains carcinogens - substances that can disrupt intracellular metabolism and provoke serious diseases. Therefore, the question arises as to

After all, what to do if steamed or boiled food is terribly tired, but you want, for example, fried meat? Try cooking without oil!

Foil and baking paper or silicone mat. You can even cook pastries or meat dishes without using oil on a baking sheet. Just line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. Firstly, this way you will stain it less, therefore, it will be easier to wash the sheet later. Secondly, you can do without oil. Do not trust paper, take a silicone mat. The main thing to remember is that you need to put food of a thick consistency on it. The silicone mat is easy to clean and store. True, over time it can become covered with dark spots from baking. Fine meat or fish dishes without oil can be cooked in the oven using ordinary foil. It will not allow moisture to evaporate, keeping it inside, and will create the effect of a double boiler. Wrap, for example, a fish fillet in foil, sprinkling it in front of this lemon juice, and send it to the oven. Soon you will have a wonderful, juicy and lean fish. In addition to dishes, there are other secrets to cooking without oil. For example, dense foods (meat, potatoes) are best cooked with vegetables: vegetables secrete juice, which is enough for frying. It is better to take vegetables with a lot of liquid in yourself: tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, sweet peppers. You can use water or broth to heat food. But only if you have dishes with thick walls. Cookware with a thin bottom will not protect food from burning. If you have a microwave, then you do not need any water or broth. Well, the last cooking option without oil is traditional cooking. Do not be afraid that boiled food will be tasteless. Any dish on the water can be complemented by properly selected additives, side dishes or sauces. For example, oatmeal on the water is great to complement nuts and raisins, and a sauce of tomato puree and spices is suitable for boiled chicken.

She told me how to fry without oil in a regular pan (without non-stick coating). This is what her mother does when she fries pancakes.

It even seems to me that I heard about this method a long time ago, but, apparently, did not betray the significance. And only now, when a healthy lifestyle, the issue of frying without oil (and any other fat) is relevant to me.

We will use regular onions.

Take a medium-sized onion and cut it in half (preferably across). You can not remove the husk, it does not interfere.

We rub the heated pan with half the onion. Onion juice covers the metal surface with a thin film.

After that, put (pour) the dough into the pan.

As you can see, I have the most ordinary cast-iron pan - without Teflon, ceramics and any other fashionable coatings.

A few words about the test. I cook very dietary pancakes, the recipe of which I posted. It’s just that earlier their “diet” was undermined by the fact that I had to either pour vegetable oil into the pan (and the pancakes turned out a little greasy, which did not suit me), or grease the pan with bacon (which also did not suit me very much). And now, with a new method of frying, the recipe has reached perfection. 🙂

As you can see, the process of frying without oil is going great. Pancake does not burn.

At least the first four pieces I fried without problems. Then, however, I hung for some time in front of the TV screen (they showed an interesting story and I forgot about the time) and the fifth pancake burned. But, more than I'm sure, it would have burned on oil - it just fried much longer than necessary.

As you understand, before pouring each new batch of dough, the surface of the pan must be re-lubricated with an onion. The onion is slightly fried and the cut becomes brown.

During the frying process, I cut off the browned layers several times to grease the pan with fresh onion juice.

By the way, turning the pancakes over, every time I tried to lightly rub the metal under them with an onion. It sometimes worked, sometimes it didn't. In the end, everything turned out great anyway.

A photo of the finished pancake is posted at the beginning of the article. I think it turned out okay.

The taste of pancakes fried without oil reminded me of pita bread, which I baked earlier from the same dough. I have always been too lazy to bake in the oven: it takes more time and more effort. Now, with the new dietary way of frying, the result is even for me and I choose a frying pan, not an oven.

I don’t know if it is possible to fry potatoes, meat or fish with onion juice. Maybe not. But for me there is no tragedy in this, because I am. 🙂 Most likely, this method is only suitable for what is fried very quickly (and something else thin).

I also don’t know if onions are suitable for frying something from sweet dough, because I don’t eat sugar (maybe that’s why 🙂) and my pancakes do not contain it.

Who knows all sorts of interesting ways of frying without oil and other fat - write in the comments. 🙂 I will be glad!

Bon appetit and excellent health to all! Lean more on .
