Fruit trifle

For about 3 servings:

  • Cream 30-35% fat for whipping - 200 g
  • Yogurt without additives - 125 g
  • ¼ prepared sponge cake (or 6 savoiardi sticks)
  • Banana (or 2 tangerines, or 1 pear)
  • 100 g of fresh strawberries and raspberries + 30 g of granulated sugar (or any berries pureed with sugar)
  • 1 tbsp. boiled condensed milk (optional)
  • Nuts, chocolate, powdered sugar for serving

  1. Rub the berries through a sieve, add sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves (or take ready-made pureed berries with sugar).

  1. Beat the cream until stable peaks form - you can use a mixer, or you can do it by hand (then it will take about 20 minutes and require patience).

  1. Cut the biscuit into small cubes. Cut the banana or pear into small slices, divide the tangerine into slices and cut them in half.

  1. If desired, add boiled condensed milk to the cream and beat until smooth.
  2. Now you can assemble the dessert. Place pieces of biscuit on the bottom of the glass, pour over berry puree, and then yogurt. Now add pieces of fruit and whipped cream on top. Decorate the dessert with pieces of nuts and grated chocolate. You can also sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.

Gently spread mayonnaise on top, sprinkle with grated cheese and place in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove the rice from the heat, add a piece of butter and leave covered for another 5 minutes. Serve the fillet with rice.

700 gr. (6-7 pcs.) potatoes,
500 gr. mushrooms (can be frozen),
2 onions,
150 gr. cheese,
1 egg,
400 gr. sour cream,
vegetable oil,
ground black pepper,
salt.

Preparation:
This recipe is a little more complicated than the previous one, but only due to the fact that you have to stand at the stove, frying mushrooms and onions. If this doesn’t scare you, then consider the question of what to cook for your mother resolved. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the mushrooms into pieces or, if you use frozen, they will already be cut into slices, cut the onion into half rings. Heat 2-3 tbsp in a frying pan. vegetable oil, add mushrooms and onions, salt and pepper. Fry until all the liquid has evaporated. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place a layer of potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, generously coat with sour cream and add mushrooms and onions, coat well with sour cream again and add another layer of potatoes. Mix the remaining sour cream thoroughly with the egg and pour the resulting mixture over the potatoes. Cover the baking dish with foil and place in the oven for 40 minutes. Then take out the casserole dish, carefully remove the foil, use a fork to check the potatoes are done, they should be soft. Sprinkle with grated cheese and place in the oven for another 15 minutes; now there is no need to cover the pan with foil.

The time from lunch to dinner will fly by almost as quickly as from breakfast to lunch, so you should immediately think about what to cook for mom in the evening. It seems that you won’t be able to surprise and delight your mother even more, but try cooking pink salmon or chum salmon with cheese, or a quick light dinner of tomatoes and cottage cheese, and this holiday on March 8 will be remembered by your mother for a long time.

To prepare, turn on the stove, put a frying pan on the fire, pour a little oil and wait 3-5 minutes for everything to heat up, beat in the eggs. Try not to let the shells fall into the dish. Crunching the shells is not very pleasant. Before you beat in the eggs, you can fry a few pieces of sausage to make it even tastier.

The real decoration of the table for March 8 will be the “Spring Bouquet” salad - and decorating it is not at all as difficult as it might seem at first glance, except that it will take quite a lot of time. An even simpler and at the same time festive option could be the elegant “Margot” salad - a delicious “mound” of potatoes, chicken fillet, pickled mushrooms and eggs. And even the most ordinary salad of boiled potatoes and chicken fillet will turn into a festive one if you decorate it with a “coat” of egg yolk and “roses” of carrots.

Another simple category of dishes that novice cooks can easily master is all kinds of snacks. So, for example, for breakfast on March 8, mom can be pleased with delicious hot sandwiches with chicken and tomatoes - or rolls of regular pita bread with cheese. And, of course, the simplest and at the same time a win-win option for a festive table for any occasion is stuffed eggs, everyone’s favorite snack, amazingly easy to prepare.




Special attention should be paid to the design of snacks. It’s worth showing a little imagination, and the most real “snowdrops” from colored chicken eggs will “bloom” on the festive table (for coloring it is better to use natural dyes such as beet juice or red cabbage). From ordinary mashed potatoes, also tinted with beet juice, you can prepare an original snack in the form of a bouquet of tulips - or miniature “strawberries”.

As a sweet dish, you can come up with something that is both very simple (something that even a child can handle) and very tasty - for example, everyone’s favorite “Potato” cakes or “homemade” sweets a la Raffaello. You can also make real truffles from cocoa, milk powder, sugar and butter (if you add a drop of cognac to the “dough” for sweets, the delicacy will be much more aromatic and tastier). To decorate homemade truffles, you can use whatever your imagination suggests - crushed waffles or cookies, coconut flakes or cocoa powder.
