Which manna recipe is the most delicious? How to bake manna: step-by-step recipes for dough and filling with photos

The manna recipe is one of several recipes that any housewife should always have on hand. It is so tasty that both children and adults love it. Mannik is actually from the “family” of pies. This is also a pie, only with semolina.

It is prepared faster and easier than many others. For comparison, I gave you a link to the pies that we prepared for the New Year, but these pies can be prepared for any holiday. Mannik is in no way inferior even to such a famous pie as.

Let's get started, this will make everything clearer.

Classic manna recipes - step-by-step recipes with photos

In this article, we will look at preparing manna with different ingredients that are most often used when baking it.

Menu:

Ingredients:

  • Semolina - 1 cup
  • Kefir - 1 glass
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp.
  • Vanillin - 1 - 1.5 g (a sachet, they are available in 1 g and 1.5 g each. Take the one you need, what taste you like)
  • Powdered sugar.

Preparation:

1. Pour semolina into a deep cup. Fill it with kefir. Stir until smooth. Close the lid and leave for 2 hours for the semolina to swell.

2. Somewhere before our semolina sits, we begin to prepare the egg-sugar mixture. Pour sugar into a deep bowl. Break a couple of eggs into the sugar and beat the mixture well with a whisk until smooth.

3. After beating well, add soda and vanillin and continue beating a little more.

4. Add the real semolina to the egg mixture and stir it all well.

5. After the mixture has become homogeneous, add flour. And of course, stir again until smooth so that there are no lumps.

6. Prepare the form. We have a silicone mold. Lubricate it with vegetable oil so that it does not stick when we take it out.

7. Place our resulting mixture of eggs, semolina and flour in a mold.

8. Place the mold on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Turn on the oven at 180°-200° for 30-40 minutes. I usually set 180° for 35 minutes, but I keep watching what happens. Time and temperature depend on the quality of your oven and the thickness of the manna. The mannik should be well browned.

You can check the readiness of the manna by piercing it with a long thin wooden stick or a toothpick. If the stick comes back dry and there is no dough stuck to it, then your manna is ready.

Well, we take out our semolina. How beautiful it turned out. Try it.

Watch this video. You will visually see how, what to do and better imagine it for yourself.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Milk - 250 ml. (1 glass)
  • Semolina - 250 ml. (1 glass)
  • Flour - 250 ml. (1 glass)
  • Sugar - 250 ml. (1 glass)
  • Baking powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 80 ml.
  • Butter - 20 g.
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation:

1. Break the eggs into a deep cup and add sugar to them. Beat the eggs with a mixer. There is no mixer, beat by hand with a spoon or fork, or most conveniently with a whisk.

2. Beat the eggs and sugar thoroughly and add vegetable oil to them.

3. Continue beating until the mass is homogeneous. Let's set it aside for now.

4. Take another deep cup. Warm the milk just above room temperature to dissolve the butter in it. Do not boil the milk or heat it too much. Add butter to the heated milk and stir until it dissolves.

5. Pour the egg mixture into the milk and butter and mix well. Gradually, stirring constantly, add a glass of semolina to the resulting mixture. Add a pinch of salt, mix again and set aside for 1 hour to allow the semolina to swell.

6. Pour a glass of flour into a deep plate and add a tablespoon of baking powder to it. Mix the flour thoroughly and pour it into the semolina with the egg mixture, which has already swollen for an hour. Add a little at a time, stirring constantly.

7. We have a medium-thick mixture, similar to sour cream.

8. Grease the pan with butter, making sure to grease the bottom and sides. Sprinkle flour or crackers onto the butter in the mold so that our manna does not stick. Sprinkle thoroughly on the sides too. Pour out any excess flour that does not stick to the butter; we don’t need it.

9. Place the dough in the mold and place in the oven preheated to 180° for 40 minutes.

10. Mannik baked for exactly 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and you can check with a toothpick or, better yet, a long wooden stick; if the stick comes out without sticking dough, then the manna is ready.

11. Remove the form from the manna, let it stand for a while to cool and put it on a plate.

12. You can decorate the manna using multi-colored food coloring in tubes. They are sold in candy stores. Instead of dyes, you can use jam, cream, preserves, etc.

We cut off a piece, how delicious it is. And how beautiful.

Mannik is ready.

  • Milk – 250 g (250 ml)
  • Sugar - 180 g (200 ml)
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Butter (room temperature) - 100 g.
  • Baking powder - 1.5 tsp.
  • Vanillin - 1-1.5 g (1 sachet)

  • Flaxseed and sesame grains

Preparation:

1. Pour the semolina into a deep cup and fill it with milk. Set aside and let the semolina swell for 30 minutes.

2. Pour sugar into butter at room temperature and mix everything well. Break a couple of eggs there.

3. Mix everything thoroughly to achieve homogeneity.

4. Add vanillin, baking powder and salt to the egg mixture. Stir.

5. Meanwhile, our semolina has swelled, the milk has all been absorbed.

6. The egg mixture is ready.

7. Turn on the oven to preheat at 180°.

8. Pour the egg mixture into the semolina and mix thoroughly until smooth. We try to avoid any lumps. The dough should be approximately the consistency of sour cream.

9. Pour the dough into the prepared form, sprinkle a little, if desired, with flaxseed and sesame seeds.

10. Place our manna in the oven for 35 minutes. You can check readiness, as you already know, with a thin wooden probe.

11. Remove from the oven. Let's cut it. What a handsome guy. And the aroma. Place on plates and serve.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Semolina - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Sour cream 15% - 150 g.
  • Soda - 1 tsp.

Preparation:

1. Pour semolina into a deep cup and add sour cream to it so that the semolina swells. Mix everything thoroughly and set aside for 1 hour.

2. We got a somewhat thick mass, this is due to the fact that we used 20% sour cream, so in the ingredients I wrote 15% sour cream, it will be better.

3. Break the eggs into a cup, add sugar and beat well.

4. Pour the beaten eggs into the semolina, which has already swollen in an hour. Mix thoroughly. While we have such a liquid consistency, add soda and baking powder, stir so that they disperse better. We try to mix so that there are no lumps.

5. Gradually, constantly stirring so that there are no lumps and so as not to add too much, add flour. We can use flour to control the consistency of the dough.

6. Don’t forget to turn on the oven to warm up at 180° at this time.

7. The dough turned out not too thick and not too liquid. A little thicker than sour cream.

8. Place the dough in a silicone mold. If the mold is not silicone, it is best to either grease it with oil or sprinkle it with breadcrumbs so that the dough does not stick. I also sprinkle silicone molds just in case. Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes.

We check readiness using the standard method, either with a toothpick or a wooden skewer. If the dough does not stick when pierced in the middle, then the manna is ready.

Remove from the oven. Let cool slightly and transfer to a plate.

Mannik can be served with any jam, pitted for small children. Cut, pour over jam and serve.

Ingredients:

  • Semolina - 1 glass
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Kefir - 1 glass
  • Eggs - 3 pcs.
  • Baking powder - 10 g.
  • Vanilla sugar - 10 g.
  • Butter
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation:

1. Pour kefir into a cup, and add semolina there. Mix well. Set aside for about 30-40 minutes so that the semolina swells.

2. Break the eggs into another cup and add sugar. Beat well with a whisk or mixer.

3. 40 minutes have passed, the semolina has swollen well, add it to the eggs with sugar.

4. Stir until smooth and gradually add flour. Stir again into a homogeneous mass. Pour in vanilla sugar and baking powder and mix everything well again. Make sure there are no lumps.

5. Grease the bottom and sides of the multicooker with butter so that the manna does not burn or stick.

6. Pour the dough into the slow cooker and sprinkle raisins on top. This is not necessary if you don't like raisins. Close the lid and set to bake for 50 minutes.

7. 50 minutes have passed, the manna is ready. We cut off a piece and admire it, and then, of course, eat it. Such a delicious pie will not stay intact for long.

Bon appetit!

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 5 pcs.
  • Flour - 200 g.
  • Sugar - 200 g.
  • Semolina - 200 g.
  • Baking powder - 10 g.
  • Butter - 100-150 g.

Preparation:

There is a small but very interesting secret in this recipe. We add all components in dry form.

1. Pour sugar, semolina and flour into a deep cup. Mix everything well. After mixing, add baking powder and mix everything thoroughly again. Set aside.

2. Grate the apples directly with the peel on a coarse grater, naturally after washing them well first.

3. We put parchment paper on the bottom of the mold in which we will bake the manna, and spread butter on the sides of the walls of the mold. We have all the ingredients ready.

4. We begin to put the ingredients into the mold. We will lay it out in layers, approximately 1.5 cm thick. The first layer is to lay out, or rather pour, a mixture of semolina, flour and sugar into the mold. Let's level it out.

5. Lay out the grated apples in a second layer and level them too.

6. Place another layer of semolina and flour mixture on the apples. Then grated apples again. The top layer should be semolina with flour.

7. Level the top layer and generously rub butter onto it using a coarse grater. To make it easier to rub, we put it in the freezer in advance for a short time.

8. Place the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°. Time approximately 20 minutes, but be sure to check doneness with a toothpick. You already know that if you pierce the top of the pie and remove it dry from the pie, then the pie is ready.

9. We held the pie for 5 minutes at 180°, and then reduced the heat to 150° and kept it for another 15 minutes. Checked with a stick, ready.

It was easy to prepare. We didn't bother with the dough. It turned out very tasty. The butter on top gave it a special flavor and fried crust.

Before cooking semolina is soaked in kefir and leave overnight in the cold under the lid. Yesterday's kefir will also work - the main thing is that it is not too sour. If you want to surprise your loved ones, kefir manna can be supplemented with fruit or drinking yogurt.

Manna will not require much time to prepare, nor will it require any special culinary skills. Additives can be berries or fruits, and you can add flavor to the cake with cardamom, vanillin and cinnamon.

Delicious manna with kefir is not only prepared quickly, but also does not require serious preparation. At the same time, do not forget that any special ingredients are not required to prepare this pie. There will be enough products that a good housewife usually has in her home. Well, the best way to cook it is with raisins, which makes it even sweeter. Although you can add any other filling. Or cook without filling at all, as you prefer.

We will need:

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 glass of kefir
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 80 g melted butter or margarine
  • 75 g raisins
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon of soda (quench with vinegar)
  • pinch of salt

Preparation:

Scald the raisins with boiling water, drain the water, dry the raisins and mix with a pinch of flour.
Lightly beat the egg with a mixer with salt, sugar and vanilla sugar, pour in kefir, butter, add semolina, raisins and soda, stir everything well.
Let the mixture “swell” for 15-20 minutes while the oven heats up.
Turn on the oven at 200 degrees, grease the mold (I took a disposable one measuring 22 cm) with butter and sprinkle with semolina.
The mixture stood and became thick.
Transfer to the pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until the pie thickens and becomes golden brown.
Cool the finished manna a little in the mold, then carefully transfer it to a dish. If desired, you can glaze the top with slightly warmed jam.

A simple recipe for manna with kefir

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g margarine or butter
  • 1 glass semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 glass of kefir
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon of slaked soda (you don’t have to slak it, the soda will be slaked with kefir)

Preparation:

Lemon manna

All we need:

  • 1 cup dry semolina;
  • 1 glass of kefir;
  • 1 glass of sugar;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 large lemon;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar;
  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of baking powder;
  • 2 tablespoons flour;
  • butter or margarine for greasing the pan;
  • powdered sugar for dusting.

Preparation:

Mix semolina with kefir and leave for half an hour to swell.
After some time, we will begin further preparation. In a separate bowl, grind the eggs with sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar.

Grate the lemon on a coarse grater along with the zest. Let's mix everything. The manna dough turns out to be runny, so add a couple of spoons of flour and one spoon of baking powder for the dough. I tried making it with soda, I didn’t like it, it’s better to buy baking powder or make it yourself.

Line a pie pan with parchment paper, grease with butter, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Simply grease the silicone mold with melted butter or creamy margarine. Pour the dough into the pie pan.

Place in a preheated oven. The temperature in the oven is no more than 200 degrees. The top of the manna is always paler than the bottom, so don’t be fooled by the unbrowned top; after 15-20 minutes, check with a match or toothpick for readiness; if the match is dry, remove it. Place the finished pie on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Delicious manna with cherries

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. semolina;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 1 tbsp. kefir;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 200 g frozen cherries;
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of flour;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar.

Preparation:

Mix kefir with eggs and add semolina, sugar, flour, vanillin and baking powder.
Mix everything very well and set aside for 30 minutes for the semolina to swell. (less possible)
While the semolina is swelling, turn on the oven to heat up.

The cherries were sprinkled with sugar and mixed. We took out the mold, poured 1/3 of the cherries into the bottom
then the dough, and then the remaining cherry...

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pan in the oven for 1 hour.

Very tasty manna for children

  • 120 g sour cream (15-20%);

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 1 cup flour.

Preparation:

  • Mix sour cream with semolina and leave to brew for 1 hour.
  • Beat eggs with sugar, add semolina-sour cream mixture, mix well. Add baking powder and flour, knead into a loose dough.
  • Pour the dough into a greased pan, place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 40-50 minutes.

To check if the manna is ready, pierce it with a toothpick... if the match is dry, then the manna is ready.

Lush manna with sour cream

We will need:

  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 cups sugar;
  • 2 cups semolina;
  • 2 cups of sour cream (I take a 400g jar of 15% sour cream);
  • you can replace sour cream with 3.2% kefir, but it tastes better with sour cream;
  • 0.5 tsp soda;
  • vanillin.

Preparation:

Mix semolina with sour cream and leave for 1 hour so that the semolina “swells”.
To this mass add well-beaten eggs with sugar, soda (slaked), vanillin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 glass each of semolina, flour, sugar and kefir;

  • soda - 1 tsp;

Add melted butter and eggs to the semolina with kefir and stir well.
Grease the mold with oil and pour the resulting dough into it. Place in a preheated oven to bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Very tender and aromatic manna without eggs

  • 1.5 cups semolina;
  • 1 glass of sugar;
  • 1 cup flour;
  • 100 grams of butter;
  • 1 tsp soda;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • vanilla sugar.

Preparation:

Melt the butter, cool slightly and mix with semolina, sugar, salt and kefir. We forget about this dough preparation for about 40 minutes so that the semolina has time to swell well.

Then add flour, soda and vanilla sugar. Mix everything.
Place in a mold and bake at 180 degrees until golden brown!

I usually cut the finished manna into two layers and soak it in strawberry jam. You can layer it with your favorite cream!

Today I invite you to try a very tasty semolina pie for dessert - this is mannik. Delicate, crumbly, with a light vanilla aroma and a crispy crust. It is prepared simply, from readily available and very inexpensive ingredients. This recipe is classic and uses only basic ingredients. Their proportions should not be changed, since the recipe has been proven over the years and you can only ruin everything. But you can experiment with additional ingredients as you wish. For example, you can add dried fruits, raisins and nuts, or you can make chocolate manna with cocoa. What I also like about this recipe is that manna can be given to young children (from 2 years old). I won’t say that the product turns out to be very dietary, but it also doesn’t contain anything harmful. If you are preparing manna for children, you can remove the baking powder from the ingredients and halve the amount of butter - these products are not very healthy. The mannik will, of course, not be as fluffy, but for kids it’s what you need. And you can serve a simple classic manna with jam or fresh berries and fruits.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. kefir;
  • 2 tbsp. semolina;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 150 g butter at room temperature;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 3 tsp baking powder for dough;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 2 small pinches of vanillin.

Recipe for classic manna with kefir

1. Pour kefir into the dough bowl and add semolina. To begin with, it is better to use 1.5 cups. From my own experience, I noticed that semolina swells differently. For a glass of cereal from one manufacturer you need 1 glass of kefir, and from another you may need 1.5-2 glasses of kefir. Of course, the thickness of the kefir itself also plays a role here. Mix.

2. Leave for 5-10 minutes while we work on other ingredients. The semolina should absorb some of the liquid and our “porridge” will thicken. The step-by-step photo shows the mass as it should be: it is not liquid, but not dry either. If the porridge has thickened, but it mixes easily, that’s it, move on to the next step. If the mass turns out to be very thick, dry and dense, add a little more kefir.

3. Transfer the butter to another bowl and rub it with sugar using a fork. It is very important that the oil is at room temperature, this makes it much easier to work with.

I also want to say a little about butter. It is better to take oil that is not very fatty, about 72%, so that the manna does not turn out to be too fatty. And don’t be afraid if during the baking process you see a thin layer of oil “bubbling” on top. It will boil away, and a delicious and slightly crispy golden crust will remain on top of the manna.

4. Break eggs into a bowl with butter and sugar. Add 3 tsp. baking powder for dough, add 2 small pinches of vanillin.

5. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork.

6. Pour the egg-butter mixture into the semolina with kefir.

7. Mix with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Please note: the mass should be liquid, its consistency resembles biscuit dough.

8. Lightly grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. I use a springform pan with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 6.5 cm. It is just perfect for the given amount of ingredients.

9. Pour the dough into the mold and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the height of the mold). The mannik rises just a little. Therefore, you don’t have to be especially afraid that he will run away from the form.

10. Take the finished manna out of the oven, let it cool a little, then remove it from the mold. Despite its delicate structure, manna springs out of shape remarkably well.

Classic manna with kefir is ready. Enjoy your tea! 🙂

It is quite possible to prepare a delicious dessert with a minimum of effort. For these purposes, you can use the simplest products. Mannik has been known to many since childhood and has gained unprecedented popularity. A classic recipe or a proposed modern version will definitely find its admirers. Moreover, you can choose from a large number of worthy offers.
