Using kefir helps you prepare delicious and fluffy baked goods in a uniquely short time.

Experienced chefs show how to prepare puffed manna with kefir in a tasty and simple way, and classic recipes for manna with kefir are so simple that any housewife can handle them. Semolina must first be soaked in kefir and allowed to swell.

Delicious desserts were prepared in all families for major and minor holidays. Semolina is considered a universal grain, because it can be used to cook porridge and bake a pie. But not everyone likes semolina porridge; many have been tired of it since childhood, but hardly anyone will refuse semolina pie.

Mannik on kefir: very tasty, airy

An excellent product is semolina. Today we will prepare a delicious airy pie from it. Manna made with kefir has proven itself well; it turns out fluffy and moderately moist, and many recipes help the culinary imagination to fully run wild.

If this airy cake is baked in a round pan and then spread into several layers, it will be easy to turn it into a delicious cake by simply spreading the cakes with any cream. But you can simply pour glaze on top of the baked goods or sprinkle with sweet powdered sugar, it will still turn out very appetizing.

It must be said that the pie turns out to be quite high in calories. So, if it is prepared with kefir, it contains 249 kcal per 100 g. And there are recipes in which flour is not added. Due to this, the calorie content of the dish is slightly reduced. And if you reduce the number of eggs, or cook without them at all, then it can be reduced more significantly.

Ingredients:

  • Semolina – 1 cup;
  • Egg – 2 pcs.;
  • Kefir – 1 glass;
  • Butter – 100 g;
  • Baking powder – 3 tsp;
  • Vanillin - a pinch;
  • Sugar - 150 g;
  • Salt - to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Take the dishes deeper, fill in the cereal, pour in the kefir product. We recommend using full-fat kefir, this will affect the taste of the baked goods. Stir with a spoon until smooth. Set aside for 60 minutes. During this period, the semolina will absorb kefir and become soft;
  2. In a separate bowl, mix soft butter and sugar. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that you don’t have to quickly soften it in the microwave. I advise you to add granulated sugar in parts, it will be more convenient to mix the contents;
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Knead the dough again thoroughly;
  4. Add the baking powder last. Stir and proceed to the next step;
  5. Grease the pan with butter in a circle. Act directly with your hands, lubricating the entire area;
  6. Combine semolina with egg mixture, stir. Transfer to pan;
  7. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the pie, immediately reduce the temperature to 180. Bake for 20-25 minutes, no more. When you see a beautiful, appetizing crust, take it out and check the readiness with a toothpick. If necessary, return and hold a little longer;
  8. Boil tea, pour sour cream or any jam over the dessert and invite your family to the table. Bon appetit!

Semolina pie never rises very much. If you think that the mass will increase 2-3 times or more, do not believe it. This is not a biscuit. Increasing the dough by one and a half times is the norm. This is a lush manna. But it is always crumbly and amazingly tasty.

Even inexperienced housewives who are just beginning to master the basics of baking can prepare a very tasty, airy manna, which is prepared with kefir. No complicated steps, unclear ingredients, the recipe is very simple, and most importantly, delicious. Having prepared manna once, you will definitely fall in love with its recipe.

You can simply bake the pie, without any additives, it will be excellent, but you can add some candied fruits and raisins. You can serve manna to the table with a glass of cool milk or a cup of aromatic apple tea with orange and cinnamon.

Classic manna with kefir

If you are preparing manna for children, you can remove the baking powder from the ingredients and halve the amount of butter - these products are not very healthy. The mannik will, of course, not be as fluffy, but for kids it’s what you need. And you can serve a simple classic manna with jam or fresh berries and fruits.

Most cooks, when they take up baking manna for the first time, make the same mistake - they put too much flour in the dough, deviating from the recipe. In fact, it should turn out to be a liquid consistency. Do not forget that semolina porridge thickens very slowly. The pie under discussion is prepared in the same way.

Ingredients:

  • Kefir - 2 glasses;
  • Sugar - 1 glass;
  • Egg - 3 pcs.;
  • Vanillin - 2 pinches;
  • Semolina - 2 glasses;
  • Butter - 150 g;
  • Baking powder - 3 tsp;
  • Salt - to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Pour kefir into the dough bowl and add semolina. To begin with, it is better to use 1.5 cups. Mix well;
  2. Leave for 10 minutes while we prepare other ingredients. The semolina should absorb some of the liquid and our “porridge” will thicken. If the porridge has thickened, but it mixes easily, that’s it, move on to the next step. If the mass turns out to be very thick, dry and dense, add a little more kefir;
  3. Transfer the butter to another bowl and rub it with the sugar using a fork. It is better to take oil that is not very fatty, about 72%, so that the manna does not turn out to be too fatty. And don’t be afraid if during the baking process you see a thin layer of butter “bubbling” on top. It will boil away, and a delicious and slightly crispy golden crust will remain on top of the manna;
  4. Break eggs into a bowl with butter and sugar. Add 3 tsp. baking powder for dough, add 2 small pinches of vanillin. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork;
  5. Pour the egg-butter mixture into the semolina with kefir;
  6. Mix with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Please note: the mass should be liquid, its consistency resembles biscuit dough;
  7. Lightly grease the baking dish with vegetable oil;
  8. Pour the dough into the mold and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the height of the mold). The cake rises just a little;
  9. We take the finished manna out of the oven, let it cool a little, then remove it from the mold;
  10. Classic manna with kefir is ready. Bon appetit!

The reason for this is the special splendor and tenderness of the prepared manna. It is difficult to spoil such a pie with anything, so by choosing kefir, you can practice baking and gain experience if you do not have the necessary culinary skills. The highlight of such tenderness and porosity is that semolina must be soaked in kefir. This is necessary for good impregnation with the fermented milk composition, which must be kept for at least 50-70 minutes. The main purpose of soaking for a long period is the crispy quality of the semolina, which may remain in the cooked cake if it is not soaked well.

After the semolina swells, you need to add the desired ingredients and mix everything well. You will have a dough that needs to be poured into a mold and placed in the oven for 45 minutes, preheating it to 200°C. When greasing the mold with butter, you will need to add semolina there.

Thus, in theory, you understand how to prepare manna with kefir. Below are several detailed recipes with various ingredients.

Classic manna based on kefir

Required components:

  • semolina - 200 g;
  • kefir - 450 ml;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • sugar - 100 g;
  • salt - 1 pinch;
  • vanillin - 1 sachet;
  • baking powder - 0.5 tsp;
  • butter - 20 g.

The semolina is soaked in kefir for 1 hour. The eggs will need to be beaten with a mixer until a uniform consistency is obtained. Manna based on kefir and flour

Semolina pie made from flour has a delicate taste, it simply melts in your mouth. This effect is achieved with the help of soda, which begins to ferment in kefir only during baking in the oven.

Required components:

  • semolina - 200 g;
  • kefir - 400 ml;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;

  • sugar - 200 g;
  • soda - 10 g;
  • mayonnaise - 20 ml;
  • butter - 20 g;
  • vanillin - to taste.

Now you need to melt the butter in a frying pan, cool it, add soda and pour the resulting mass into the dough. You will need to heat the pie tin in an oven set to 190°C. After this, you need to grease it with butter, add a little semolina and pour the finished dough into it.
