Educator. Children, do you like fairy tales?
- What fairy tales do you know? (children name familiar fairy tales).
Educator. The heroes of a very familiar fairy tale came to visit us today, and who are they and what kind of fairy tale you will find out if you guess the riddle:
(Vera Anoshina)
Who ran away from the woman and grandfather,
Who became lunch for the fox?
The hearty, tasty...
Children. Kolobok.
Educator: Correct. So what kind of fairy tale is this?
Children. Russian folk tale "Kolobok".

Children. Yes.
Educator. How can we help them? (children's assumptions)
Educator. Children, let's make koloboks from salt dough? (children's answers)
Educator: Before we start sculpting, let's remember what a bun looks like.
-What shape is it? (round)
-What does it look like? (On the ball).
- Show me how you will sculpt. (Children imitate the rolling technique with circular movements of their palms)
Educator: Children, what else does the kolobok have? (Nose, eyes, mouth).
Educator: What can an eyeball be made from? nose? mouth? (children's answers)
Educator: Children, look, there is dough and a foil ball on your tables.

Educator. What do you think the foil ball is for? (children's answers)
Educator. That's right, the ball will be the basis of your koloboks.
Tell us how you will sculpt using foil? (children's statements)
Summarize the children's answers: You need to roll out the dough, flatten it, put foil in the middle of the cake, cover it with dough and roll it into a ball.

Educator: Children, before you get to work, let's stretch our fingers.
Finger gymnastics.
Let's count our fingers (clench and unclench our fists)
We will call fairy tales: (one by one all the fingers greet the thumb)
Mitten,
Teremok,
Kolobok is a ruddy side.
There is a Snow Maiden - beauty,
Three Bears,
Wolf - Fox.
Let's not forget Sivka-Burka,
Our prophetic kaurka.
We know the fairy tale about the firebird,
We don't forget the turnip. (bend your fingers to the name of the fairy tale)
We love to read fairy tales (clench and unclench our fists)
We will know all the heroes. (all fingers alternately greet the thumb)
Part II:
Educator. Children, remember once again what a bun looks like, where you start sculpting and get to work. (in the process of activities, I provide children with individual assistance, help with advice, and encourage initiative).
Part III:
At the end of the lesson, we collect all the work on one table and examine it.
Invite 3-4 children to choose their favorite work and explain why. Draw children's attention to the expressiveness of the image of the sculpted hero.
Educator. Children, you made wonderful koloboks. Grandfather and grandmother are very happy. Let's remember what you made the koloboks from?
Children. From salt dough.
-How did you sculpt? What were the eyes and mouth made of? (children's answers)
- What did you use for the base of the kolobok? (foil ball).
Educator. Children, when your koloboks are dry, you can play with them.

Guys, Kolobok is very glad that you made him friends. But it’s time for him to go into a fairy tale.

Thank you guys

And I say thank you to everyone

Now I'm hitting the road

And I will come to you someday.

Now let’s say goodbye to the guests and go and show the children middle group their koloboks.

This is how we sculpt from salt dough

Good day to all. As it turns out, our daughter really likes to sculpt. For her third birthday, a friend gave her a modeling kit. And Nastya liked this gift the most (imagine how surprised we were when the most ordinary, inexpensive modeling kit turned out to be more in demand than my mother’s and father’s gift - an “electric jeep”) In fact, besides the fact that it’s fun for the child and parents, Modeling is also very useful for children, as it develops fine motor skills well. So, recently I came across a recipe for salt dough from which you can sculpt various figures. I decided to try it out and make something with my daughter over the weekend, but I’ll tell you what came out of it now.

So I’ll start with the most important thing, with the recipe (which, by the way, is very simple).

Salt dough recipe:

  • glass of water
  • a glass of finely ground salt (We didn’t have finely ground salt, so I took coarse ones. Nothing bad happened - you could just see crystals of salt in the dough)
  • spoon of vegetable oil
  • flour as much as the dough will take to get the consistency of dumplings. It took us a glass and a half, maybe two

Dissolve a glass of salt in a glass of water. All the salt will not dissolve, but as much as will.

Nastya dissolves salt in water

After that I'll add vegetable oil and half a glass of flour and begin to knead. Once all the flour is mixed in, add more flour.

Nastya makes salt dough for testoplasty

And so on until we have dough like dumplings. By the way, I also read that relief paintings are made from salt dough, and in this case the dough should not be so tough. But since we will sculpt figures from dough, we need cool dough. It should look something like this:

This is what the dough should look like.

The resulting salt dough is more plastic than the plasticine we know from childhood and is much more environmentally friendly. Even if a child eats a piece of dough during the modeling process, nothing bad will happen, since all the ingredients are edible. The same cannot be said about our plasticine. And I don’t even want to remember about Chinese plasticine - after it, children’s hands need to be washed for a couple of days. In general, salted play dough - great alternative plasticine. The only drawback for me is that the dough makes your hands a little dry, but perhaps this can be avoided by adding a little more oil. Okay - I got distracted. Once the dough is ready, you can proceed directly to modeling.

First of all, Nastya decided to roll out the dough

Nastya received orders from me to make something like this and immediately began to fulfill them. Our first craft was a bun. Let's sculpt the head right away...

Little daughter sculpts a head for a bun

Then we make the handles...

Now the hand for the kolobok is ready

Our next craft was a flower. Then, using a mold from the set given to Nastya, she made a butterfly. Then I made a worm with my hands.

Flower, butterfly, worm and bun

Then I couldn’t resist and decided to make some too (although to be honest, I helped Nastenka make leaves for the flower and attach petals to the flower). I chose a heel as a model for my craft.

Model for modeling

And this is what happened in the end

Yes - this is no longer the pig Piglet, but a real boar Pyatak

In general, we had a lot of fun :). After we sculpted the figures, we decided to paint them. By the way, this is another advantage of modeling from salt dough versus modeling from plasticine. The dough figures can be placed in the oven to dry and after that they can easily be painted with gouache and watercolors. I also read that you can varnish crafts and the colors will remain for a long time (but have not tried this). In general, put everything in a baking dish and in the oven on the lowest heat.

Salt dough figurines before going into the oven

As I already said, the temperature in the oven should not be too high so that the figures do not fry, but dry out. While your crafts are drying, you can have lunch and get ready to paint. Take out paper, brushes, and draw water. And when we see that our crafts have already dried well, we take them out and start painting.

We paint the worms red

Our worms are red, and we paint the pig pink...

Painting Piglet

This is how it turns out to be a snout

Now let's add yellow...

And as a result we got something like this beautiful crafts from salt dough:

Our little patch

And this is what we got from salt dough:

Flower and Worms are also made from salt dough

Like this step-by-step instruction with pictures we got it. Here you can see a little. By the way, soon New Year and you now know how to make Christmas tree decorations with your own hands. I’m sure the children will also enjoy it much more when toys they made and painted themselves hang on the Christmas tree. By the way, last year we bought a plaster toy and mommy and my daughter painted it together. There's even a photo saved

We paint a New Year's toy with our own hands

But this year we’ll try to make several New Year’s toys with our own hands - from modeling to coloring. After all, before baking, it’s enough to insert a wire loop into the salt dough figure and that’s it. New Year's toy, completely made by hand, ready

In conclusion, I would like to add that salted dough is perfectly preserved in the refrigerator in a regular palylene bag (bag). The only thing that is possible is next use The dough will need to add a little flour.
In general, thank you to everyone for reading to the end, I wish you and your children a lot of pleasure from modeling and congratulations on the upcoming New Year

Step 1 out of 3

I'll do it small retreat and I'll tell you the story. You and your child must prepare the dough (as we remember, it includes sour cream, flour, and other things mentioned above). After the dough will work. We will form it into a bun. Afterwards we put it out and bake it in the oven. During the entire process, you need to quote the fairy tale. After baking, you need to put the bun on a window to cool. Then, in secret from the child, the bun should disappear, i.e. roll away. Afterwards the Fox eats it...
A child can be dressed up in a fox costume to eat a bun. Very cool idea and script. My child was delighted.
So. Let's knead the dough. To do this, combine water, milk and salt with sugar in a bowl. Let's heat it up to a temperature so that you can hold your finger in the liquid for a long time. Then dilute the yeast in this liquid until completely dissolved. Sift flour into a bowl (it took me 2-2.5 cups). Pour the liquid into the flour and knead the dough. Add sour cream. When the flour has absorbed all the water, add oil. If it gets a little dry, add oil again. The dough will turn out like this. I didn't knead the dough with my hands. I took a mixer with a dough attachment (spiral) and worked with the mixer for about 7 minutes.

Step 2 out of 3

At the same time, you need to say, “The woman kneaded the dough with sour cream... set it to rise.”
Cover the dough with a towel and forget about it for 1 hour. It will triple in size. If not, let it sit longer.
When the dough has risen well, form a bun. How? Gather all the dough into a ball. Set aside a small piece of dough. These will be the eyes and nose. In this case, the child can be allowed to form these details. Roll it on a smooth surface on the table. It will become smooth and uniform. You will receive a ball. Press it down a little. It will become wider. Transfer the Kolobok to a baking tray lined with baking paper. Lay out the eyes and mouth. Give your child free rein and let him decorate the bun himself.

Ready!

Brush the entire bun (using a brush) with milk and leave for 20 minutes. Turn the oven to 180 degrees and preheat it. Place the resulting bun in the oven and bake. Check readiness with a match or toothpick. Dry = baked. After the bun, place on a plate. Place on the windowsill to cool (don’t forget the text of the fairy tale). After the kolobok, place on a plate. Place on the windowsill to cool (don’t forget the text of the fairy tale).
