It is advisable to take winter varieties of apples: dense, juicy, sweet and sour. I season the salad with sour cream, but mayonnaise lovers can use it. For convenience, I transfer the sour cream from the jar into a bag, cut off a corner and carefully pour it over each layer of salad. You can do it in a salad bowl, but to make it convenient to serve the salad to guests, I prefer a large flat dish and place the salad in the removable side of the cake pan.

Grate the boiled liver on a coarse grater.


Grease the rim ring with vegetable oil so that it can be easily removed, leaving the salad on the dish. Place the first layer - grated liver. Drizzle with sour cream.


Coarsely grate the apples.


Place a second layer, with a little sour cream on top.


The third layer is grated eggs, again sour cream.


I grate the cheese on a medium grater. I spread half of it, pour over the remaining sour cream and sprinkle with the rest.


The salad needs to be given time to soak. Cover the pan with cling film and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight. Before serving, remove the rim and garnish with a sprig of dill. Bon appetit!

Ingredients for the salad: boiled pork liver, apples, carrots, pickled cucumber, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, vegetable oil.
Peel the carrots, rinse and cut into thin strips. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped vegetable until soft, sprinkling with salt and ground black pepper during frying.

Cut the pork liver, pre-boiled in salted water and completely cooled, into small cubes.

In a deep bowl, combine the fried carrots and liver.

Cut the pickled cucumber into strips and finely chop the garlic. Add them to the already mixed ingredients.

Cut the apple, freed from skin and seeds, into thin slices and add to the salad along with chopped herbs. Immediately mix the combined ingredients. Season the salad with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.

  • To reduce the fat content of the finished dish, carrots can be baked in foil or boiled in salted water, or even added raw to a salad;

Recipe for preparing salad with liver and apple step by step

Salad with liver and apple is a fairly satisfying dish. It's not that difficult to prepare. Pre-preparing all the necessary ingredients will take the most time. First of all, let's prepare the pork liver. To do this, thoroughly wash the meat. Then place it in a saucepan and fill it with clean water. Boil as usual. During the cooking process, we can add a small piece of onion, bay leaf and a couple of black peppercorns to the saucepan. You should not salt the liver, as this will make the product tough. During the cooking process, you must ensure that the contents of the pan do not foam. The foam that appears during cooking must be skimmed off. After boiling, reduce the heat under the pan and cook for about 40 minutes. When the liver is ready, drain all the liquid and cool the product itself.

In addition to the pork liver, we need to prepare the potatoes in advance. Two medium-sized potatoes are enough. We wash them and boil them in the usual way (in their uniforms). Cool the finished potatoes.

We will need onions in two forms: fried and pickled. In order to prepare this ingredient, we first peel the onion. If the onions are small, we will need two pieces. If the vegetable is large, peel one onion and cut it in half. Cut one part into small pieces and place in a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry until golden brown. Cut the second part into half rings and place in a small container. Then add one teaspoon of granulated sugar, half a teaspoon of salt and fill everything with vinegar and a small amount of clean (can be boiled) water. Mix all ingredients and leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

When the potatoes have cooled, peel them and grate them. Place on a flat wide plate, press lightly and level the surface. Salt and pepper to taste.

Grease the potato layer with mayonnaise.

Now on top of the potato layer we lay out the part of the onion that we fried in a frying pan. Distribute over the surface.

Grate the cooled liver onto a coarse grater. Spread evenly on top of the previous layer.

Salt and grease with mayonnaise.

Wash the apple and remove the skin. Grate on a coarse grater. Spread the pulp on top of the previous layer.

Place pieces of pickled onion on the apple.

Lubricate this layer with mayonnaise (or make a mayonnaise mesh).

We peel the boiled chicken eggs and grate them on a coarse grater. Gently sprinkle the salad over the entire surface. Salt and pepper, if desired, make a mesh of mayonnaise.
