Add honey, egg, cinnamon, soda (already slaked with vinegar) to the prepared mixture, and finally add flour.
  2. We prepare in advance a sheet of paper on which a drawing of the future cookie should be applied. In our case, it will be a leaf with a drawn maple leaf.
  3. Place the dough on the prepared surface (sprinkled with flour). Roll it out and check that it does not stick to the knife. This is very important. If the dough is sticky, add more flour, knead and roll out again. The thickness of the resulting sheet should be within 7–8 mm.
  4. Now we begin to cut out the cookies along the contour. We do this carefully and without haste. Place the finished maple leaves in the oven for 20 minutes. We bake them at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Step-by-step preparation of “Spring Leaves”
1. Place on the table in front of you all the products that will be used in cooking.
2. You need to sift the flour, do the same with the powder and vanilla, add butter and yolk to the sifted mass, after which you can knead the dough. The dough is ready if it does not stick to your hands and after that it can be put in cling film in the refrigerator, where it sits for about 15 minutes.
3. To prepare the leaves, you need to pinch off small pieces from a large piece and roll them into a ball, which should resemble a walnut, but no more than 15 grams. Flatten this ball on your palm and make a leaf out of it so that it looks like itself, you need to make veins with a knife, applying a little pressure, make shallow cuts. This imitation will look great after baking.
4. Baking is done in the oven, which is heated to 180 degrees, this is an individual household appliance, so the number of minutes will depend on it, about 15 minutes, so that the leaves brown a little.
5. They should not be consumed hot, it is better after they have cooled down. For storage, use a tightly closed container and then the cookies will delight you with their amazing taste for several days.

For the dough you will need 2 cups of flour, 250 g of margarine, 2 eggs, vanilla, a little milk and ¾ cup of granulated sugar.

For the filling: 2 medium-sized apples with a sour taste, half a glass or a glass of sour berries (lingonberries, cranberries), 100 g of chopped nuts, one egg and another egg yolk, 2 teaspoons of rum or, if the cookies are being prepared for children, a tablespoon of apple juice and granulated sugar to taste.

Brush with egg yolk and bake until golden brown. Remove from the pan and let cool. You can sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar or powder mixed with ground cinnamon.

First you need to prepare the dough. To knead the dough, take a clean, deep container. Grind the butter or margarine in it using a wooden spatula.


Add sugar, a small amount of salt (if unsalted butter is used) and one egg. Mix everything thoroughly using a wooden spatula until it has a homogeneous consistency.

Add 3 cups of wheat flour to the same container. Mix the ingredients.

Knead the dough with your hands. After 1-2 minutes we cut it. If the dough gets hot from your hands, it needs to be cooled in the refrigerator.


Roll out the finished dough into a rope. Carefully cut it into even pieces.

Shape each piece into a “carrot” shape, as shown in the photo.


Flatten each piece and, starting from the thick edge of the figure, use a knife to draw veins into the leaves.


Then place parchment paper in the multicooker bowl and place the formed leaves on it.
