How to cook pork with pineapple in the oven

We cut off a piece of pork approximately 1-1.5 cm wide. We beat the meat a little with a hammer, but it’s not much chops. If you beat the meat very thinly, it will turn out dry. We season the meat with salt and spices, on both sides, do not spare the spices, otherwise it will turn out tasteless. We put the pork in a baking dish, greased with vegetable oil.

Place pineapple rings on top.

Lubricate pineapples with a thick layer of sour cream or mayonnaise, I chose sour cream. Just make sure it's not too acidic.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it on top. Cheese do not spare. Then you get a very tasty cheese crust. We put to bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 200C.

To make the pork more juicy, pour a little (about 100 ml) of pineapple syrup or boiled water onto a baking sheet with it. Also, the first 15 minutes you can cook the dish under the foil - the effect will be about the same. Send the meat to bake in an oven preheated to 220-230 degrees. After 5-7 minutes, turn down the heat to 180 degrees. Continue baking until tender (about half an hour). Serve hot.

How to cook pork with cheese and fresh pineapples in the oven:

Cut the washed and dried meat into squares with a side of about 4 cm. Remove excess fat and veins along the cutting process.


Peel the pineapple. Remove the hard core. Cut the pulp into small neat pieces. If fresh pineapple is not available, use canned pineapple, this will not significantly affect the taste of meat.


Crush the garlic into a pulp or chop with a knife. Pour into a bowl. Add pepper.


Pour in soy sauce. Salt is not used in this recipe, because the marinade will turn out to be moderately salty anyway. If pineapple in syrup was used in the preparation of the dish, you can add it to the marinade. Just a few tablespoons. It caramelizes during the baking process, and the pork will develop a delicious glossy crust.


Mix meat with pineapple. Pour in the marinade. Stir. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 40-90 minutes.
