Today I am sharing recipes with apples. Oatmeal with an apple is a great breakfast option for those who are mindful of their figure. Firstly, it cooks very quickly. Secondly, it is low in calories, and thirdly, it is healthy.

Oatmeal with apples has a wonderful taste; both adults and children will enjoy eating it. It is better to use sweet varieties of apples.

We are often told: “You should eat oatmeal for breakfast.” And many people think of the famous “Oatmeal, sir!” and a plate of unleavened gray oatmeal is presented.

Of course, not everyone can eat this, and only a few can make it a daily breakfast that fills you with joy, gives energy, and so on.

However, making oatmeal tasty is quite simple - if only you had the desire (and apples:)...
Let's start with the simplest recipe.

Ingredients:

  • "Hercules" cereal - 1 cup;
  • milk - 3.5 cups;
  • sugar, salt - to taste;
  • apples - 0.5 pcs.;
  • butter - 1 tbsp. l.

Preparation:

1. Pour milk into a saucepan or ladle and bring to a boil.

2.Pour oatmeal into boiling milk, add salt and sugar.

3. Cook oatmeal, stirring constantly so that nothing burns (about 15 minutes). The cooking time depends on the size of the Hercules flakes; see the exact cooking time on the package. Turn off the finished porridge.

4. Grate the apple on a coarse grater.

5. Place oatmeal in a plate, add grated apple and butter on top.

6. Mix oatmeal with an apple and enjoy a delicious, healthy breakfast!

Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Oat flakes 150 g
  • Apples 60 g
  • Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Honey 1.5 tablespoons
  • Water 220 ml

Pour oatmeal into a saucepan, add salt and a spoonful of sugar. Stir, add water, put butter on top. Place on the stove over moderate heat. The porridge must be stirred during cooking. Once the flakes have absorbed all the water, remove from heat. If you have very fast tiles, this will take about three minutes.
While the porridge is boiling, cut half an apple into squares and place on a plate. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and add a tablespoon of honey.

When the porridge is ready, transfer it to the apples with cinnamon and honey and mix. You can decorate the top with berries or mint.

Oatmeal with applesauce

Ingredients

  • sweet apples - 2-3 pcs
  • water/milk
  • cinnamon to taste

Preparation:

1. Peel the apples. Our apples must be very sweet. Grind both apples into puree in a blender.
2. Pour oatmeal into a saucepan for 2 servings, pour in applesauce. Stir and add water. You can chop three apples, then you need even less water, and the porridge will be even more apple-like and sweeter.
3. Stir the porridge, bring to a boil, turn off the heat and simmer under the lid for 5-10 minutes, stir occasionally. Add cinnamon and after a minute turn it off and let it brew a little.
4. Decorate the porridge with pieces of fresh apple, you can sprinkle with raisins, nuts, etc.

I would like to note that I add applesauce to the finished porridge - it tastes better to me :o)

Oatmeal with apples and cream

Ingredients:

  • 150 g oat flakes
  • milk - 400 ml
  • 70 ml cream 10% fat
  • apples - 2 pcs
  • 400 ml apple juice
  • sugar - 50g
  • 0.5 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Pour oatmeal into a saucepan. Pour in apple juice and milk, add sugar. Place on the fire and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and leave in a warm place for another 5 minutes.

2. Wash the apples, peel them and cut into thin slices. Add apples, cinnamon and cream to hot porridge. Mix quickly and serve.

Oatmeal with stewed apples

Ingredients:

  • a glass of oatmeal;
  • 1.5 cups of water for cooking cereal;
  • 2 apples;
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon;
  • a handful of walnuts;
  • 1 teaspoon butter;
  • sugar, salt to your taste.

Preparation:

  1. Place water in a small saucepan on the stove and bring to a boil. While stirring, add oatmeal. The water should cover two fingers of flakes. Porridge is considered very healthy when it is slightly thin and viscous. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes until oatmeal is cooked through.
  2. Peel the apples, cut into slices, place in a frying pan with heated butter, sprinkle with ground cinnamon and simmer with the lid open for 5 minutes, the apples should become softer. The aroma is already preparing our stomach for breakfast, producing saliva!
  3. Crush the walnuts in a mortar until fine crumbs, or, if you want to feel their taste on your tongue, larger ones. Mix the nut crumbs with the prepared oatmeal.
  4. Place apples on the bottom of the plate, cover with a layer of porridge, and again beautifully place apple slices and several whole walnut kernels on top. Serve to the table.

Oatmeal porridge with apples in caramel

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup small oatmeal
  • 3 glasses of milk
  • 1 tbsp. butter (50 g)
  • 2 apples
  • 3 tbsp. light brown sugar
  • cinnamon to taste (¼ tsp)
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation:

1. Pour milk over the oatmeal, add salt and 1 tbsp. sugar, cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into cubes about 1 cm in size.

3. Place butter and diced apples in a frying pan, add cinnamon, add sugar, and put on fire.
Over low heat, fry the apples to your liking - the apples should be completely soft and covered with a layer of caramel syrup. I fried them for about 5 minutes and they came out with a little crunch. The frying time and amount of sugar depends on the type of apple and your taste preferences.

4. Garnish the porridge with a fan of stewed apple slices, pour over the remaining caramel syrup, sprinkle with toasted pine nuts and serve.

How to lose weight on oatmeal and apples

Every person who wants to lose a couple of extra pounds will be ready to do anything to do it quickly and without extra effort. Such people are not ready to engage in physical activity; it is much easier for them to pay a large amount of money to get a “miracle product” that will literally make their body slim in one go.

But losing weight is not easy. Sports and proper nutrition are always highly desirable here. That is, a day “on the water”, “on kefir” is not entirely good and not at all healthy.

Let's talk about a healthier diet option, the main product of which is oatmeal. This is a product that is recommended for consumption without dieting. Cereals are a source of fiber, which cleverly swells in the stomach, creating a feeling of fullness. Which is precisely the main advantage of the product on a diet. Oatmeal also improves digestion and, as a result, speeds up metabolism.

The essence of the diet is as follows: in one day you need to eat 1-1.5 kg of apples and a glass of oatmeal, which, of course, must first be prepared. It can be boiled in either water or milk. Tea without sugar and water - in unlimited quantities.

This diet must be followed for two weeks. As a gift at the end of the diet, you will receive minus 7-10 kg on the scales.

Three-food diet: oatmeal, cottage cheese, apple

All three products are incredibly useful. Apples are sweet, so they will make it easy to give up sweets. Cottage cheese is a fermented milk product that every body absolutely needs. Oatmeal contains fiber and helps the body feel full.

This diet consists of three foods, each of which appears every day. For breakfast, you need to prepare a portion of porridge with water or milk and add a few apples to it.

For lunch, you need to eat a portion of porridge again, adding five grams of honey to it. Add about one hundred grams of cottage cheese and again a few apples to the oatmeal.

For dinner, prepare one hundred grams of cottage cheese and three apples.

If you still feel hungry throughout the day (although this should not be the case), you can eat about three hundred grams of vegetables between breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner. Teas and water can be drunk in unlimited quantities. Of course, it is recommended to drink tea without sugar.

You can stick to this menu from one week to ten days. Then take a break for at least a month and you can repeat it again. It takes from 500 grams to 1.5 kg per day.

Turn on the oven and preheat to 180 degrees.

For a delicious breakfast of oatmeal with an apple, you need to take large, non-instant oat flakes (the package indicates a cooking time of 10 minutes or more). Such large flakes in the finished dish will not boil into porridge; the texture of the flakes will be felt and a beautiful cut will be visible.


Peel three medium apples and cut into cubes.

Leave one extra small apple to garnish the finished dessert with thin slices.



Prepare nuts and dried fruits. Any will do, in this recipe - walnuts and dried cranberries. There is no need to pre-soak dried fruits.



In a separate bowl, mix apple cubes, large oatmeal, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and nuts with dried fruit.



Separately, use a fork or hand whisk to whisk a large egg, milk and vegetable oil (oil should be odorless).



Pour the liquid part into the dry ingredients of our oatmeal for breakfast and mix with a spatula.



Line a small baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with vegetable oil and pour in a fairly thick, lumpy batter. Additionally, decorate the top with pieces (slices) of apples.



Bake the oatmeal with apple for 30 minutes, until done: the casserole should be well baked and browned, the smell should be pleasant, with an apple aroma of baking and toasted nuts.
