Ingredients:

- crab sticks – 200 g,
- low-fat cottage cheese – 160 g,
- low-fat soft cottage cheese – 50 g,
- garlic – 2 cloves,
- salt – 1 pinch.

How to cook at home

We buy crab sticks either chilled, so as not to wait for them to defrost, or, if time permits, we put them out of the freezer on the kitchen table 2 hours before cooking. Experienced housewives know what kind of product to use so that it unfolds well. If your crab sticks tear when unwrapped, cut them into pieces and simply mix them with the filling. Only the appearance of the dish will change, but not its taste and benefits.

When you see that the crab sticks have become soft, you can start cooking. In a bowl, combine regular and soft cottage cheese.

Mix thoroughly until a mass of more or less homogeneous consistency is obtained. Squeeze the peeled and washed garlic cloves into it, throw in a pinch of salt and mix again.

They will serve as a special sheet for the filling, which we place on the edge with a teaspoon and roll into a mini roll. If you haven't tried it yet, be sure to do it, you won't regret it.

That's all, the dietary dish is ready. Although, if you do not warn in advance that it is one of those, you may not even guess. For color and taste, add fresh greenberries; Dukan allows its use in cooking. Eat tasty and healthy! Bon appetit!

It would seem that crab sticks have recently entered our culinary life, but without their participation not a single housewife can imagine a celebration or holiday, because a salad of crab sticks is sure to be present on our tables!

However, not only this famous dish can be prepared from such seafood - they are wonderful simply stuffed, and if you put them in the shape of a hut, you will get a wonderful culinary masterpiece that will become the best dish on the holiday table!

At the same time, you are free to choose the filling with which you will fill the crab sticks, but the most excellent option would be cottage cheese with dill, seasoned with mayonnaise or sour cream. This filling is the best way to highlight the delicate taste of seafood and add a light creamy note, seasoned with the languor of herbs.

The appetizer is not only visually attractive, but also very economical in cost - we will calculate this at the end of the recipe, as usual!

For the “Monastery Hut” made from crab sticks you will need:

— 400 g crab sticks;

- 200 g of cottage cheese;

- 1 bunch of dill;

- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise;

- 3-4 pinches of salt;

- greens and cucumber for decoration.

First of all, you should prepare the filling: put the cottage cheese in a container, add salt and dill, after washing and chopping it. Stir lightly with a fork or spatula. Make sure that the cottage cheese is not sour, otherwise it will ruin the entire taste of the prepared dish!

Add mayonnaise or sour cream. You can choose the lightness and fat content of the products according to your taste! Stir the entire curd mass until it is completely mixed with mayonnaise and salt.

Remove wrappers from crab sticks. If they were not defrosted in advance by transferring them from the freezer to the refrigerator overnight, then simply place them in a container with high sides and pour boiling water over them. After a few minutes, drain the warm water and add boiling water again.

This is a small proprietary secret of this dish - the crab sticks unwind only after they have been in boiling water for about 5 minutes and become soft. Without steaming, you will not be able to unfold them properly - they will tear at the folds.

Take out the sticks one at a time and unfold them on a board or platter. Place the filling on the inner edge using a teaspoon and roll it back, lightly pressing the crab meat into the filling. The crab stick will grow significantly in width!

In this way, lay out the entire bottom layer of stuffed sticks, and then grease its surface with mayonnaise or sour cream.

Place the second prepared layer on it. Build a hut out of sticks, that is, lay them out in the shape of a triangle, greasing each layer.

Once you've finished serving, garnish the dish with herbs and slices of fresh cucumber. You can lightly pepper the appetizer on top, and then place it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours so that everything is thoroughly soaked.

Your holiday appetizer is ready - take it out, cut it, put it on portion plates and taste it. Bon appetit!
