Spaniards value vegetables very much, especially sweet peppers and tomatoes. These vegetables are an essential part of most Spanish dishes.

Mexican breakfast

For breakfast, Mexicans also prefer tortilla, however, unlike the Spaniards, they cook it from corn. A traditional Mexican breakfast is corn tortillas, beans with chili peppers or hot sauce. Breakfast is also served with scrambled eggs and mashed fried beans. Salsa - sauce and nachos - corn chips can be served for breakfast. Israeli breakfast.   • tomato - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp. spoons (quantity can be varied as desired)
  • egg - 1 pc.

Cooking:

  1. Put the water, sauce and shredded chicken into a deep frying pan and simmer over low heat. Given that the chicken is already cooked, you just need to wait until the mixture warms up well.
  2. Add corn chips to mixture and stir. Wait until the chips become soft, but do not let them become completely "liquid". Remove the saucepan from the heat.

  2. We cool the milk to a temperature of 47 degrees Celsius (you can put a saucepan of milk in a cold basin so that it cools faster).
  3. In a sterilized (required) jar we put 2 tbsp. spoons of yogurt, then pour the cooled milk and mix thoroughly.
  4. Leave the yogurt for 5-6 hours.
  5. In the morning, before serving, add chopped fruits to it and decorate with a sprig of greens.

Africa. Egyptian ful

Egyptian cuisine is a classic example of Arabic Middle Eastern cuisine. They love sweets, cereals, legumes, and the Egyptians prefer a dish called “ful” for breakfast. It is served hot separately or put in a tortilla. You need to cook ful in the evening.

You will need:

  • dry beans - 2 cups
  • red lentils - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • tomato - 1 pc.
  • bulb - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • cake - 1 pc. (optional).

Cooking:

  1. In the evening, rinse the beans and soak in water for 1 hour.
  2. Put the beans in a saucepan, cover with water and add the lentils and wheat, whole tomato (do not cut), whole garlic cloves. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer the beans for 6 hours over low heat under the lid.
  4. In the morning, when the beans are 2/3 ready, add a glass of boiling water and stir, cook until fully cooked. Can be served at the table.

1. Huevos divorciados

Mexican scrambled eggs served with two types of salsa and corn nachos. Sometimes roasted bean puree is added to the dish.

Ingredientsfor 4 servings: 200 g red tomatoes, 200 g peeled vegetable physalis, 2 fresh chili peppers, 1/4 green onion, 2 cloves, 2 teaspoons salt, 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, 1/4 cup water, 8 tablespoons corn oil, 8 eggs, corn nachos.

Cooking: Heat a dry cast iron skillet over medium heat. Saute the tomatoes, physalis, jalapenos and onions, turning with tongs, until browned on all sides, 10 to 15 minutes. Peel the tomatoes from the skin, remove the seeds from the peppers.

For red: Coarsely puree the tomatoes, 1 chilli, 1 clove and 1 teaspoon salt in a blender, transfer to a bowl.

For the green salsa: Coarsely puree the physalis, garlic and chili peppers. Add salt, cilantro and water, pour into a separate container.

Prepare scrambled eggs: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a small skillet over moderate heat. Gently crack 2 eggs into a cup, keeping the yolks intact, then pour into the skillet and cook, covered, for 5 minutes, or until desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Fry the remaining eggs in the same way. Serve with two types of salsa and corn chips.

2. Fried egg quesadilla

A dish of Mexican cuisine, it consists of two tortillas stuffed with cheese, fried in a pan or deep-fried. By toasting, the cheese in the filling melts and thereby holds both tortillas together.

Ingredients for 2 servings: 40 g butter, 2 eggs, 50 ml milk, salt, pepper, 2 tortillas, tomato salsa, chopped green onions, 50 g grated cheese.

Cooking: Beat the eggs with a whisk until fluffy. Pour milk into the mixture, season with ground pepper and salt.

Heat a frying pan with a piece of butter over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture. When the eggs begin to set, start stirring them at intervals of a few seconds to form small lumps. Salt and pepper.
