Shish kebab recipe with potatoes

1. Cut the meat into small pieces of the same size, put the pieces in a deep bowl.

2. Add vinegar, diced onion, salt, pepper, any other seasonings and pickling spices. Stir, cover or wrap with cling film, leave for at least 1-2 hours. Soak the wooden skewers on which the kebab will be strung in plain cold water so that they do not burn during baking in the oven.

You can use any other marinating dressing recipe.

3. Peel and wash the potatoes, cut into thin circles, then put on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil (you can do without oil by simply covering the baking sheet with parchment).

4. Thread marinated pork or chicken on skewers like a regular barbecue, alternating each piece of meat with several onion rings.

Instruction:

Now you have a homemade mayonnaise with an excellent useful composition. It is ideal for dressing salads and other recipes where mayonnaise is needed. And for the marinade, add another pinch of red pepper and add a couple of tablespoons of water.


Peel and wash potatoes. Rinse the meat and cut into fairly large pieces, about 3x3 cm or slightly larger.


We combine meat and potatoes in a bowl, salt and pepper, mix.


Pour marinade, add peeled and finely chopped garlic, mix again and leave for 20-30 minutes at room temperature.


After a while, we take bamboo skewers and string the products in the following sequence: potatoes - a piece of meat - potatoes again - meat - potatoes. Be careful, as the meat is slippery and the potatoes are hard, and threading them on skewers seemed to me the most difficult moment of cooking. I had to rinse and dry my hands after each kebab.

But here we are! Put the skewers on a sheet of foil for baking and wrap tightly. Spread on a baking sheet or in a mold with sides and put in the oven, preheated to 200C.

Cooking

Cut the pork into pieces. If you take entrecotes - it turns out less tasty.
Cover the pieces of meat with cling film and beat off strongly. Then remove the film, pepper, salt a little and lightly beat again.

Then put the meat in a bowl and sprinkle with spices for barbecue.
Cut one onion into small very thin pieces and knead with force in a bowl with meat.
Leave to marinate for 2 hours.

An hour before roasting, separate from the meat, marinate the onion for the "cushion".
Onion cut into half rings, put in a bowl, pour boiling water, pour 3-4 tbsp. l. vinegar, add 2 tbsp. sugar and salt to taste.

Let's cook beautiful and juicy chicken skewers by adding pieces of bell pepper. Cut the pepper into the same squares as the chicken meat.

We put the marinated chicken fillet on wooden skewers, alternating with pieces of bell pepper.

Lay the skewers on top of the potatoes.
