Restaurant mezzanine in Feodosia. A cozy corner in Feodosia - art cafe "Mezzanine Cafe mezzanine Feodosia"

Hi all! My review about the art cafe “Mezzanine” will be useful to everyone who visits. There are many restaurants and cafes in Crimea, but there are not enough stylish ones with a secluded atmosphere. On one of the tourist portals I saw “Mezzanine” in the top of the best cafes in Crimea. It is always difficult to popularize such objects - prices can jump, the owner or chef can change, and the beautiful picture with all the components will be blurred.

I’ll immediately clarify that the photos and prices are for January 2016, I’ll see how the “Mezzanine” will work in the future, but for now my positive review is in detail.

Art cafe "Mentresol" is located in the seaport area at the end of the plane tree alley at the address: st. Gorky, 13 A., next to the roadway and Morsada Park, there is a small parking lot. In the summer, the cafe expands and opens a playground.

I am not a restaurant critic, so I will only express my opinion and that of my friends. When you have something to compare with, all sorts of advantages are especially noticeable. And while the service in Crimea leaves much to be desired, I would like to draw your attention to an establishment that offers a pleasant pastime.

Despite its small size, the cafe offers a wide range of services; people come here not only for traditional food, but also for spiritual food. The creators call the “Mezzanine” project because... he incorporated many interesting ideas. Throughout the year, the organizers hold various exhibitions, theatrical meetings and musical evenings.

Through a small smoking room, we find ourselves in a cozy room with a bar counter. Here, as in a museum of antiquity, various household items, compositions made from natural materials, paintings and sculptures are neatly arranged and hung.

Like in a grandmother’s chest - there are a lot of things from different eras. Overall, a pleasing picture emerges. In the center of the hall is a small aquarium, which separates the common area of the first floor from a secluded corner for visitors.

Among the variety of things, your eyes run wide, each one is like a separate story and you want to know about its origin.

On the left is a wooden staircase with wrought iron railings that leads to the main hall.

On the second floor, the interior is in pastel colors, designed in a vintage style from textiles to cutlery on the tables. In one of the reviews I read the following phrase: “The interior, sorry, shabby”, well, shabby, so shabby =)), which only gives an amazing look to the whole establishment.

All the instruments in the music salon are in working order, so if you have talent, you can use them.

There is a small room on the second floor, I don’t know the exact name, I’ll call it “Tsvetaeva’s Room”, it is located in a secluded place and is very cozy. The walls are decorated with portraits of Marina Tsvetaeva and her entourage, next to a portrait of Max Voloshin. Curtains on the windows, tablecloth on the table, everything is in the spirit of those times. Books are carefully arranged on a small shelf, and an antique dressing table from the last century looks like it came from the bedroom of a society lady.

A cafe for a break from everyday routine, since 2015 it has been open all year round.

The program of creative evenings is planned a week in advance and is indicated in the poster. Entrance - 100 rubles. per person, starts at 7 pm.

And now, about the main thing. Menu and prices at the art cafe “Mentresol” (January 2016)

The menu includes a wide range of dishes from European, Italian and Latin American cuisine. Prices are adequate by Crimean standards. The art cafe has a good wine list, and the dishes are prepared from scratch, so you won’t be able to pop in for a bite to eat; you’ll have to wait. It’s a good idea to call the waiter using a button; you don’t have to sit and wait for someone to come to you. When ordering, check the weight of the finished dish, the portions are quite large.

Thanks to the creators, cooks and waiters for their work!
