Mannik without flour in a slow cooker with pumpkin

It seems that this is impossible - to bake manna without flour, and even without eggs. Such a recipe exists, moreover, the baked goods turn out airy and, of course, tasty. We suggest using this recipe to prepare a healthy dessert.

Products:

  • grated fresh pumpkin – 2 cups;
  • semolina – 1.5 cups;
  • sour cream – 100 g;
  • sugar - half a glass;
  • soda - half a teaspoon;
  • pumpkin juice – 100 g (for soaking);
  • sugar – 5 tbsp;
  • lemon juice – 1 tbsp;
  • ground cinnamon - a pinch.

Cooking manna without flour in a slow cooker:

  1. A piece of pumpkin should be grated (fine), placed in cheesecloth and squeezed out the juice. Or use a juicer.
  2. In a bowl mix: sour cream, sugar, semolina. If you choose soda, you can quench it with kefir and immediately add it to the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Grease the working bowl with any oil (preferably odorless), pour out the dough, set the optimal cooking mode - “Baking”, set the timer for 1 hour.
  4. In the meantime, flourless manna is being prepared in a slow cooker, let’s prepare the syrup or impregnation. To do this you will need freshly squeezed pumpkin juice, sugar, lemon juice and, if desired, ground cinnamon. All ingredients must be mixed, put on low heat, stirring, and bring to a boil.
  5. When the manna is ready, you need to take it out and transfer it to a deep plate. While hot, pour in syrup. If you see that the manna has “drowned” in the syrup, it’s okay, literally in half an hour everything will be different - the syrup will be absorbed and the manna can be cut into pieces to taste.

My daughter, who came to visit, asked me to bake a fluffy, airy, very tasty kefir manna without flour. To be like in childhood, she said. I don't know how I know the recipe, it seems like I've always known it. I tried other baked goods with a similar name, but it turned out that mine was the best. According to the classic recipe, semolina is added to the dessert, but there is no flour. True, there are recipes with the addition of it, we’ll get to know them next time.

Remember when we didn’t like semolina porridge as children? There was always leftover on the plate. One of the mothers found a way out and came up with a manna that still allows them to cram healthy porridge into their children.

Mannik with kefir - a classic recipe without flour

The advantage of baking is its ease. I mixed the ingredients and quickly put it in the oven. The classic version of manna is in my cookbook among the quick recipes.

Required:

  • Semolina - a glass.
  • Kefir - a glass (you can take yogurt).
  • Butter – large spoon.
  • Baking powder – 20 gr.
  • Sugar – 100 gr.
  • Vanillin is a standard sachet.
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • A little salt.

Step-by-step recipe with photos

Pour kefir over the flour and leave for an hour. The semolina will absorb the fermented milk drink and swell.

Separately, beat the eggs into a bowl, add baking powder, sugar, vanillin, add salt and beat.

Add the beaten egg mixture to the semolina and stir. You will get a liquid dough.

Grease the mold with oil and pour in the dough.

Make the temperature in the oven quite high - 180 o C. Baking time is 35-40 minutes. The manna will rise perfectly, become fluffy and airy. The structure is crumbly and delicate.

Be sure to check the doneness of the baked goods with a match. If necessary, bake for 5-10 minutes.

The finished pie can be greased with butter or sprinkled with powdered sugar.

The multicooker has firmly established itself in our kitchens, saving housewives time. The recipe is simple, and not very experienced cooks can do it.

Mannik on kefir without flour and eggs

Lenten version of preparing manna. The baked goods will not be particularly fluffy or crumbly because it contains orange juice. But very, very tasty - I guarantee it. And guests will never guess that the cake is completely flourless and there are no eggs.

Take:

  • Kefir – 2 glasses.
  • Semolina - 2 glasses.
  • Sugar - a glass.
  • Sunflower oil – 2 large spoons.
  • Soda - a small spoon.
  • Oranges - as many as you want.

How to bake:

  1. Combine semolina and kefir in a bowl, stir, let stand for an hour for the semolina to swell. If you need to cook urgently, you can skip this step and go straight to the next one.
  2. Add soda and oil to the mixture and use a blender.
  3. Peel the fruit and chop the zest into small pieces. Cut the slices into arbitrary sizes (I put large pieces of orange).
  4. Fold the orange preparations into the dough, mix, and transfer to a greased form.
  5. Heat the oven to 180 o C. Baking time 30 minutes. Sometimes more, depending on the oven, but you know how to check for doneness. Serve with tea with jam. You can flavor the pie with sour cream.

The calorie content of manna is not too high, you can have a blast. For 100 gr. pie 277 kcal.

But I’ll give you some advice: don’t get carried away with eating manna, it’s certainly not too high in calories, but remember about your figure.

Even my cats eat manna. But this is not its main value. You probably noticed that the recipe does not contain particularly expensive or hard-to-find ingredients? This is what I think is the most important. Any minute you want a delicious pie for tea, you can prepare it - no need to run to the store.
